Die Ranking-Formel

Die Position im Ranking wird mit Hilfe eines gewichteten Bayesian-Durchschnitts berechnet, einer statistischen Methode, die häufig verwendet wird, um Rankings zuverlässiger zu machen.

Im Gegensatz zum einfachen arithmetischen Durchschnitt berücksichtigt dieses System nicht nur die durchschnittliche Bewertung, sondern auch die Anzahl der erhaltenen Bewertungen. Auf diese Weise werden Strukturen mit wenigen Bewertungen, aber sehr hohen Werten nicht automatisch gegenüber solchen mit vielen Bewertungen und etablierteren Bewertungen bevorzugt.

Bewertungen von Google und TripAdvisor werden in die Berechnung durch Umwandlung von einer Fünf-Punkte-Skala in eine Zehn-Punkte-Skala einbezogen.

Die verwendete Formel lautet:

Score = (n x R + C x M) / (n + C)

Wobei:

n = Gesamtzahl der von der Struktur erhaltenen Bewertungen
R = gewichteter Durchschnitt der Bewertungen der Struktur (mit Google- und TripAdvisor-Bewertungen umgerechnet in Zehn-Punkte-Skala)
M = gewichteter Durchschnitt aller Strukturen auf der Plattform
C = durchschnittliche Anzahl der Bewertungen pro Struktur auf der Plattform
