Description
Our aparthotel is located in Donnalucata, a pretty seaside village of Scicli, full of large beaches of fine golden sand, in a quiet location surrounded by greenery.

Surroundings:
It is 350 meters from the promenade of the Ponente beach, where the "Riviera di Ponente" is located (a complex of shops including bars, pizzerias, restaurants, creperies, ice cream parlors, souvenir shops) and a little more from the town center, from the fish market and markets.
The area is rich in historical, architectural and cultural testimonies,
A 10-minute drive takes you to Scicli, an enchanting Baroque city, Marina di Ragusa and a little further away Modica and Ragusa Ibla, in the "Noto valley".

Our aparthotel is the perfect location for families, for a romantic holiday in a quiet and reserved environment, for all those who are looking for peace and tranquility in close contact with nature away from the noise of the city.

Dated structure, unusable pool to be renovated, slightly murky water with chipped lining, clean rooms, kind and courteous staff, the beach can be reached on foot even though it is 500m away, very quiet area, parking outside the property (otherwise it costs 5€ per day) is still in a quiet area, cars are safe; the entire structure should be renovated.

Great location, close to the beach, no need to take the car to get around, the little town has everything for the fun of adults and children. The mini-apartment is well equipped with everything you need. Alessia has always been very kind and helpful to our requests, she is simply top!

Quiet location overlooking the sea, close to the sea and the center of Donnalucata, just a stone's throw from Pozzallo and Marina di Ragusa. The manager of the structure Alessia is very kind and helpful. The pool is very beautiful.

Absolutely recommended structure, we stayed in a lovely studio, clean and equipped with everything, relaxing environment and very kind staff, to enjoy the excellent croissants for breakfast! On windy days and in Donnalucata it happens, the pool of Residence Solemare is greatly appreciated. We really enjoyed it and we definitely plan to come back… it's worth it!

An excellent Residence with a pool and a stone's throw from the sea. In less than 5 minutes on foot you reach a beautiful sandy beach. The rooms are spacious, clean, and equipped with all comforts including a kitchen. The managers are very friendly and available for any information. You can breathe a holiday atmosphere and tranquility. Both I and my family had a wonderful three days. We will definitely come back.

The structure turns out to be different from the photos on the website, small rooms for 4 people and lack of basic cooking essentials such as sugar, salt, oil. They do not have spare rooms, so in case of problems with your own room it is not possible to use another one.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time at Residence Solemare, the host Allesia was really helpful and the room was super clean. The pool was great and the apartment's location is close to the sea, I will definitely come back!

We were guests at 'Residence Solemare' on the weekend of June 18-20 and we had a good time: the room was nice, with a beautiful view, excellent cleanliness, and the owner was very kind and helpful. The pool is also nice, where you can breathe a lot of tranquility and it's great even when it's windy at the sea, as it happened to us. I will come back, if possible.

The property is located near a beautiful golden sandy beach with a very clear sea. The architectural part requires many hygienic and structural interventions. The bathroom is very dated, the kitchen corner lacks pots, the refrigerator doesn't cool, the bed linen is crumpled, and the pillows are precarious. The interior and exterior walls need to be re-plastered and repainted, the air conditioner filters need cleaning, ours emitted a terrible smell. The ceiling fan only operated at one speed, despite being supposed to have at least three. The terrace table was broken, missing a leg! Overall, the apartment appeared reasonably clean, but not the surrounding area. Unused parts of the structure with piles of junk, dust, disorder, abandoned furniture. Neglect of the green area and the pool, which had green and murky water. We never used the pool.

I had the opportunity to enjoy a pleasant vacation free from conventions. The studio with kitchenette allowed me to taste typical products without being tied to a restaurant. In the morning, having breakfast on the terrace with good bread, very fresh ricotta, and excellent honey overlooking the sea on one side and the olive trees on the other was priceless. The pool was also perfect, an excellent alternative to the beach during the hottest hours. It was like enjoying the benefits of the countryside (silence, scents) but with a sea view and a stone's throw from the village. Thanks to Alessia, impeccable in every request, friendly and an excellent reference for all information about the area.

Very basic, perhaps too much. Rooms are very small, they cannot be called mini-apartments. Willing staff, but inexperienced. For example, cleaning of the common areas should not be done before 9 am. Residence Solemare.

The Solemare Residence is very nice, peaceful and enjoys an excellent location a stone's throw from the famous west beach of Donnalucata and a stone's throw from the nightlife. The staff is very kind and helpful. Perhaps they could improve the furnishings and the linen of the accommodations. Very good value for money. I highly recommend it.

A quiet and welcoming residence, a few meters from the sea, near the main street and not far from wonderful beaches. If I go back to Donnalucata, I would definitely choose Residence Solemare again, I felt at home thanks to the kindness and availability of Alessia! Highly recommended.

The hostess was very welcoming, she sent us the directions in advance. She was even waiting for us after closing time. The studio was clean, had a good bed, was fully equipped, and had a big balcony with sea view. All this for a very reasonable price. We had a great stay, and hope we will return another time. We stayed in the 2+2 places apartment, simple but functional, well equipped, good position of the two French doors allowing for good ventilation (for those who don't like air conditioning). The sea is within a 5-minute walk, beautiful sandy beach, spacious (with public showers) and never crowded (first week of August). Excellent location for visiting the baroque cities around. Splendid Scicli!

Very kind and helpful staff. The only not particularly positive note is the poor supply of tableware (a few more cups and teaspoons for breakfast wouldn't be bad). But if you don't plan on cooking it's not a problem. Pleasant swimming pool, quiet as it is not on a main thoroughfare and still not far from the beach. The studio is spacious. Also positive air conditioning as I have never had problems with water supply (as sometimes happens in Sardinia). Some details (furniture and tap maintenance) remind me of Greece from years ago, but if these are not important aspects for you, I generally recommend the structure.
