Description

Perched on a hillside overlooking Pesaro, the Villa Il Pignocco is a spacious development of individually owned accommodations in 4 acres of landscaped gardens and a wood with a large pool in a beautiful part of Italy.

The accommodations have their own unique charm: the restored ancient cotto tiles create a characteristic feel; the peculiar greyish walls and exposed beams combine with the traditional textile to create a lovely tranquil atmosphere. Tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard, the accommodations have independent conditioned air and heating, kitchen area, TV, Wi-fi and Wire Internet connection, telephone, small lounge or sitting room.

The accommodations lead into a large garden which features outdoor seating for relaxing, or dining and a private outdoor swimming pool, with massaging water jets.

The Rental Villa Il Pignocco is a great base for visiting very attractive historic towns located more inland, via rolling hills and stunning country roads in the region of Le Marche: Urbino, Fano, San Leo and Gradara.

Nearby the Rental Villa there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy great meals in several traditional Italian restaurants and “trattoria”.

The rustic Le Marche Villa Il Pignocco is also located a short drive away from beautiful beaches, as the beach Spiaggia delle Due Sorelle in Sirolo or the beaches of Casteldimezzo and Fiorenzuola di Focara in the St. Bartolo Natural Park.

At B&B Il Pignocco COuntry House Breakfast is served every morning in the spacious manor dining room.

A restored antique wooden table with chairs is at the center of the dining room.

Each morning guests savor a plentiful breakfast surrounded by antiques, in a setting of terracotta tile floor and stunning old time furniture.

The breakfast buffet meal is fresh and sourced!
Breakfast includes homemade cakes, such as Almonds Apple Pie, Orange Donut, Jam or Chocolate Tart, Butter Biscuits, Lemon Plum Cake, Soft Jam Cake with Granulated Sugar, Croissants, Fresh Bread, ham and cheese.

If you need a cup of coffee to wake you up, a fine aroma coffee, made with Italian "moka" is also available.

Nowadays agritourism is really popular in Italy. This is what our father Paolo thought looking at the eighteenth-century Le Marche country house purchased in 1952 by grandfather. So, he decided to restore our family farmhouse for guests to spend their holidays in Italy in our quiet and beautiful estate.

In our agritourism you will experience the authentic Italy amidst olive groves, hills and a terrific sea view.

The Marche agritourism is owner family run. The sisters Anna and Francesca will offer you a friendly service and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. And above all we will be happy to give you suggestions to discover the best of Le Marche region for an unforgettable holiday in Le Marche.

The Pignocco Country House is located in the Marche region, between the Apennine mountains and sandy beaches, on the hills overlooking the charming town of Pesaro, on the Adriatic coast.

Pesaro boasts 7 kilometers of wide, sandy beach, with recreational facilities and restaurants.

Pesaro offers an elegant and well-kept historic center of Roman origins, with churches, monuments, and buildings from different eras and styles.

Pesaro offers a free bike service, allowing you to ride from the marina to the nearby town of Fano, crossing a brand new bike path.

During winter, Pesaro shows a unique melancholic charm, with deserted beaches flown over by seagulls and profiles of small fishing boats on the horizon.

The Bed and Breakfast is an ideal starting point for visiting Medieval Villages and Castles, traversing the beautiful country roads of Marche: from the famous Urbino to the castle of Gradara, the setting of Paolo and Francesca's love story. Passing through the lively town of Fano, a Roman settlement, and San Leo, the inaccessible fortress where the magician Cagliostro died as a prisoner in 1795.

Let's not forget about two authentic gems, Novilara and Candelara: the former being a Piceno village, and the latter an ancient castle.

Lovely place with a splendid view of Pesaro. The room has all the comforts. The park is very well maintained, with a pool. Unfortunately, the pool was closed due to the cold. The value for money is exceptional.

Incredible experience in a magnificent setting, the beautiful house overlooks a fabulous panorama with a sea view, and the pool among the olive trees is a haven of peace. We were very well received by Francesca, who recommended the best experiences/discoveries in the area.

Il Pignocco Country House is the ideal place to enjoy the absolute relaxation of the hills of Pesaro. It is located in a strategic position not far from the sea and ancient medieval villages, offering a wide range of opportunities to discover the province of Pesaro-Urbino by bike, by car or on foot. The B&B is suitable for families, couples, and solo travelers. Anna and Francesca welcome you with their kindness and attention to the customer. We stayed in the Feronia suite, a very unique location spread over 4 floors of a turret connected by a spiral staircase: on the first floor the small kitchen also equipped with a kettle with tea and herbal teas available, on the second floor the wardrobe and the bathroom with the whirlpool tub, on the third floor the bedroom with all the glass walls, on the fourth floor the solarium terrace. Although not particularly comfortable due to the many steps, it is certainly and absolutely fascinating: being able to admire the moon lying on the comfortable mattress, waking up to the chirping of birds or enjoying the stars on the solarium rocked by the breeze is truly rewarding, a unique and regenerating experience. The presentation on the website is truthful: “Uniqueness and originality characterize this room, where you sleep up there in the sky, among the stars and the clouds”. You feel suspended in the middle of nature. Impeccable cleanliness. Thanks to Anna and Francesca for making us experience this wonderful stay!

Lovely location on the hills of Pesaro, surrounded by a beautiful park and ancient olive trees. The property retains all the charm of the past, but at the same time is equipped with all the comforts that modern technology offers. The owners are very kind and helpful. Beautiful location, at the top of a hill overlooking Pesaro and the sea, at the same time convenient to the underlying highway and isolated from other buildings. Panoramic view 360°. Huge and well-kept park, with a small garden between the main house and the small chapel next to it. The structure is an old summer house with a renovated barn, once owned by a noble family, the rooms (we were 10, we occupied 5) are located both in the main building and in the barn, have independent access from the outside and are simply but tastefully furnished. Each one is equipped with a kitchenette or fireplaces to make a coffee. Breakfast is in the main house, where one of the 2 sisters who manage the structure lives. Homemade cakes, muffins and cookies, but also cold cuts, cheeses and cereals, all in a large room with a big table and an area with armchairs and a sofa, where to plan the excursions. Everything very right, familiar and friendly. The managers are very courteous, never intrusive but always present, we asked them where to dine in the 2 days we were guests, and we were very satisfied with their recommendations. Thanks to them, in addition to seeing Urbino, Gradara and the park of Monte San Bartolo (the scenic spot where Vale46 trained as a boy), we discovered Montefabbri, a very nice little village. I think it's needless to say that I recommend it!

Ottimo locale curato nei minimi particolari. Vista molto suggestiva su Pesaro e sul mare. Bella camera, pulita, con un bel bagno ed il riscaldamento efficiente. Una stanza che si può definire una bomboniera. I titolari gentili ed capaci. Nonostante il ritardo per colpa nostra ci hanno comunque fornito una colazione di gran livello. Un locale da non mancare per fare base su Pesaro e circondario.
