Description

On the Arcolane Hills overlooking the Gulf of Poets, an ancient farmhouse surrounded by greenery with a sea view for a charming stay.

"Luci sul Golfo" is located in a century-old house originally owned by Count Picedi, which we have subsequently renovated.

Once inhabited by the Count's Sharecropper who looked after most of the surrounding land where we find many vineyards.

Now we await you in these lands still untouched by the city, overlooking the Gulf of La Spezia, just a few minutes from the main tourist destinations and close to the Vezzano Ligure Railway Station where you can easily reach La Spezia, the 5 Terre, Pisa, Parma, Florence, Genoa, etc.

We are Maurizio, Paola, and Monica, the owners of "Luci sul Golfo".

In a century-old house originally owned by Count Picedi and later renovated by us.

Luci sul Golfo is the best bed and breakfast in Italy. Paula and Maurizio were 300% dedicated to give us the most beautiful experience. We really felt part of the family and will certainly come back. Everything is perfect: the room with private bathroom, the best breakfast we ever had, the house with a garden at the top of the hill with a beautiful panorama and well equipped with chairs and swimming pool. Not only the location is great, they are magnificent people with the heart in the right place. I can recommend their place, you'll not regret it.

This place is a true haven of peace where it is nice to relax after visiting the Cinque Terre. A good swim in the pool is enjoyable. The hosts are particularly charming and welcoming! Maurizio and Paola are real gems of great kindness! Very nice stay.

In a high position with a view over the city of La Spezia, the city can be reached in a maximum of 10 minutes by car, or from the small station located 1 km away (with free parking). Quiet and peaceful place, very friendly owners, I felt at home.

Splendid small and comfortable Bed and Breakfast on the hills above La Spezia with a beautiful view of the city and the Gulf of Poets. Paola and Maurizio are two splendid hosts, they make you feel at home and pamper you with a thousand attentions, from breakfast with homemade cakes, biscuits, focaccias and bruschettas prepared daily and with dinners on request even for just two people (Paola is an excellent cook!). They can give you the right advice on beaches to spend the day, places to visit and restaurants to taste the local cuisine. The location is ideal, an ancient house elegantly renovated with lots of greenery around, in a very happy position always kissed by the sun and caressed by the breeze. In the garden you will find a very sociable little horse and a very comfortable pool to relax in serenity during the hottest hours. A few kilometers away there are the Cinque Terre, Porto Venere and Lerici, the excavations of Luni and the perched villages of Lunigiana and the Spezzino hinterland as well as less than an hour away Pisa and Lucca. Don't think twice, come here to spend your holidays!

From the first minute you feel comfortable here. The driveway is a bit bumpy and narrow, but then it's just about enjoying. The car has space in the private parking with carport. The wonderfully landscaped garden with pool is simply a dream and invites you to relax immediately. The hosts make you feel like you don't have to worry about anything. Every wish is granted on the spot. With a bit of luck, even the peacock from the area comes by for breakfast on the terrace/conservatory with panoramic view. If you are offered to eat there - DO IT. For 25€ you get a great homemade meal in 4 courses and you can even take a look at the open kitchen, where the owner cooks herself. The breakfast is also very tasty and prepared with love. You can choose between sweet and savory. You also get great tips for the area and can always ask for advice. If you are looking for a holiday atmosphere, you are at the right address! You feel like you are with your own family.

3 days in a wonderful place with exceptional hospitality. Very clean rooms, a relaxing environment, and excellent meals. Paola shared some culinary secrets with us. Homemade! A very generous and varied breakfast buffet with a beautiful presentation. Maurizio was very helpful in giving us advice and accompanied us to La Spezia, showing us around the port among other things. A charming, warm, and always smiling couple. Very nice meeting. We highly recommend this place. And moreover, it is very well located.

Beautiful Bed and Breakfast on the hills behind La Spezia, overlooking the sea, equipped with a pool and surrounded by greenery. The managers Paola and Maurizio are very kind and go out of their way to make you feel at home. Abundant and varied breakfast, with the possibility of dinner (unfortunately I didn't manage to try it). I traveled for work, but it's also ideal for a vacation in the Cinque Terre. Fantastic.

This place is a real Gem. My partner and I felt like at home since we put our feet in. The hosts, Paola and Maurizio, are amazingly welcoming and caring, always ready to give you tips about anything you need. Luogo stupendo, suggestivo con veduta da sogno sul golfo di la spezia. Paola e Maurizio due persone squisite, cordiali ma soprattutto speciali. La cucina di Paola è eccellente, dalla colazione che soddisfa tutti i gusti alla cena che riesce a far assaporare le specialità liguri. Da consigliare a persone che apprezzano il gusto o lo stile delle case d'epoca rivisitate in chiave attuale ma in un contesto di altri tempi. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente.

Soggiornare presso le Luci sul Golfo è stata un’esperienza indimenticabile. Maurizio e Paola ci hanno coccolati e fatti sentire a casa fin dal primo istante. Sono stati attenti a tutti i nostri bisogni senza mai essere invadenti. La struttura è bellissima, a partire dal giardino fino alla camera, immensa e molto curata, con bagno privato con idromassaggio. La colazione è molto abbondante ma soprattutto di incredibile qualità, con torte e biscotti fatti in casa, yogurt, succhi ed anche scelta di salato. La cena, poi, è stata un tripudio di sapori. Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di partecipare alla cena di capodanno, con un menù da far invidia a ristoranti stellati, in compagnia di ospiti molto cordiali e soprattutto dei padroni di casa che hanno saputo unire tutti i commensali con la loro cortesia e discrezione. Per finire la struttura è in un punto strategico per visitare tutti i luoghi magnifici della Liguria, dalle cinque terre a Portovenere. Ci torneremo sicuramente, magari per poter godere della bella piscina e di una cena sulla terrazza panoramica. Consigliatissimo!

"Luci sul Golfo" è stato una piacevolissima scoperta. I Gestori sono cordiali, amichevoli ed attenti alla cura dell'avventore. La struttura è finemente arredata, piacevole alla vista ed all'anima. Il cibo, rigorosamente di zona, è preparato in maniera magistrale dalla Signora Paola, la quale non manca di descriverne provenienza e tradizione. Colazione altrettanto curata ed abbondante, servita anch'essa sulla splendida terrazza con vista sul Golfo. Voto 10+++.

I padroni di casa sono eccezionali, vantaggio di avere la possibilità di cenare presso la struttura (cosa da non poco) con una cuoca direi eccellente. Da ritornare sicuramente!

Nous avons passé 3nuits chez Paola et Mauricio très bien accueilli ils nous ont bien renseignés sur les 5terres. Paola est une très bonne cuisinière est tout les matins petits gâteaux tout chauds fait maison un régale. je vous recommande.

Andateci senza indugio! La cura dei dettagli, l'ospitalità attenta, il sapore della relazione con l'altro, la spontaneità e l'autenticità fanno di Luci sul Golfo un luogo dove ristorare la mente, il corpo e lo spirito. La casa, sapientemente ristrutturata negli anni, ha dettagli marinari non scontati e fuori dalle logiche commerciali. Colpiscono la sincerità degli angoli, le scelte di arredo, la sensazione di essere a casa ma senza gli ingombri della vita quotidiana. C'è sobrietà ma non manca nulla. Bella la scelta dei colori, delle stoffe, così come affascina la cura del verde e la gradevolezza del giardino esterno. La cucina è abbondante e vera. Se volete mangiare tipico non state tanto a girare: siete già nel posto migliore dove fare un tuffo nei sapori locali. Dal primo al dolce al vino, tutto parlerà al vostro palato di ricette coerenti con il territorio e attente all'ambiente. Olio, basilico, menta, legumi, ortaggi, materie prime semplici per una cucina di gran qualità. La colazione è ricca e completamente fatta in casa. Dolce e salato, con ricettine delicate e raffinate, marmellate home made, pane caldo, tartine e frittatine, frollini e dolci. Niente di confezionato, cosa che fa gioire! Infine, ma non ultima per importanza, la dedizione alla relazione. Paola e Maurizio sapranno farvi sentire tra amici, nel pieno della vicinanza serena e umana di due persone vive. In conclusione, Luci sul Golfo per noi è stato il vero valore aggiunto di questa vacanza in Liguria. Senza dubbio, andateci!

Hallo liebe Leser, wir möchten uns auf diesem Wege nochmals herzlich bei unseren Gastgebern Paula und Mauricio für die schöne Zeit in ihrem Hause bedanken, in der wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Wir werden nächstes Jahr wiederkommen. Das Haus und die Zimmer sind sehr schön und ansprechend. Im Garten hat man die Möglichkeit auf den vorhandenen Liegen ein Sonnenbad zu nehmen und sich im Pool zu erfrischen. Mauricios Pferd Vicky steht im weitläufigen Garten und kann - muss man natürlich nicht, wenn man nicht will - gestreichelt werden, genauso die 2 ganz lieben Boxer. Zur "Lage der Unterkunft": Theoretisch wird diese jeder anders beurteilen. Ich hätte hier für uns auch eine 10 geben können, da es ein guter Ausgangspunkt für viele unserer Ausflüge war und wir trotzdem ruhig untergebracht waren. Wir sind von hier aus mit dem Zug nach Pisa gefahren und mit dem Auto nach Genua, sowie mit dem Auto zu diversen kleineren Orten und Stränden. Das einzige was eventuelle Gäste nicht gefallen könnte ist, dass La Spezia eine Hafenstadt ist, die trotzdem viel bietet, z. B eine Promenade, eine Marina, eine Innenstadt usw. Frühstück wurde immer sehr liebevoll in Form eines Buffet angerichtet und die Speisen wechselten. Siehe Bild in der Beschreibung - so sieht das Frühstück wirklich aus und ist sehr lecker. Wer möchte kann für abends ein Menü bestellen, dies wird von Paula zubereitet - sehr gut. Wie gesagt, uns hat es allen sehr gut gefallen, selbst unser 13-jähriger Sohn wäre gerne noch länger geblieben, obwohl daheim schon die Freunde warteten.
