A circa 1 km dal centro. Stanza accogliente e dotata di bagno e tv. Il titolare corretto e poco invadente.

We felt very welcome by Mario and his father and get very good recommendations for nice beaches and places to visit, restaurants and connections. The room and kitchen is well equipped. There is a free parking area and always a place available.

I have been staying in this property for 5. 5 months. I was satisfied with everything. The host is very helpful, kind and warm man. He is honest, polite and reliable. The room is cosy and comfortable as well as the bathroom. The kitchen is also very convenient and neat. Also, I had a washing machine, an oven, enough tableware, fridge, TV set, satisfactory Wi-Fi. The property is a bit far from the station and sea, but I like its location. The room is very close to supermarkets, bars, post office, pharmacy, mozzarella shop, pizzeria, butcher's shop, bakery and to the city center. It was a perfect stay. Thank you, Virgilio!

Virgile a été vraiment gentil de venir me prendre a la gare, ce fut vraiment apprécié! Il a pris le temps de me donner plein d'informations sur le cartier (marché, Resto, où acheter la mozzarella, etc). Il m'a même conseillé sur les visites que je prévoyais faire en plus d'être présent à tous les jours pour s'assurer que tout était parfait.
Superbe terrasse pour prendre son café matinal au soleil!

Abbiamo pernottato una sola notte ma ci è sembrato di essere a casa, tutto perfetto dall accoglienza e la disponibilità del proprietario, camere pulite e calde. Ci hanno dato tutte le informazioni per muoverci sul posto e in merito alle luminarie, consigliati anche sul posto deve cenare, anche esso perfetto. Che dire di più consigliatissimo provare per credere. Week end in dieci persone tutte super soddisfatte. Grazie ancora ai proprietari di averci accolti e sopportato tutte le mie chiamate 😀.

* A true home away from home *
We had a fantastic stay at the place. After a hard search for a place in Amalfi, Sorrento, Positano and the area, we decided to go for the sane option - Salerno. It was a great decision - The beautiful city is alive, welcoming and easier to get than the other places. Transportation from there to the Amalfi Coast is convenient.
Now to the best part - The place. We arrived in the evening and were welcomed by Mario and Virgilio - two of the nicest people we ever met. The homie feeling they gave us reminded us that this is the most important thing while you travel, More than attractions or sights. They were also very informative. The room itself was great, with lot's of air and light, very spacious and clean. The bathroom was very good.
After three nights, we wanted to stay for one more and it was fully booked - So Mario and Virgilio helped us finding a place with their relative. It was very nice and even cheap. They were simply fantastic.
Strongly recommended! Thank you for everything!

Sono rimasto un paio di giorni in un piccolo appartamento davvero molto accogliente, avevamo tutto il necessario e tutta la privacy che ci si aspetta, il proprietario è stato davvero molto gentile e cortese in tutti gli aspetti e abbiamo trovato un clima accogliente. Locale pulito e ordinato, indipendente e comodo, unico punto essendo noi a piedi risulta un po' lontano dalla stazione e dal lungomare, ma avendo l'auto non ci sono difficoltà; in sintesi un soggiorno piacevole e rilassante, coniugato alla cordialità e alla disponibilità del gestore che hanno reso la permanenza rilassante e serena.

Io e mia moglie abbiamo soggiornato dal 25 Luglio 2016 al 4 Agosto 2016. Struttura non proprio in centro che però è facilmente raggiungibile con mezzi pubblici o come piace a noi a piedi con una passeggiata di circa 15 minuti max. La struttura è vicina a tutti i servizi di prima necessità, quali farmacia, supermercato, bar, panetteria, pasticceria edicola tutto nel raggio di 50/100 metri. Quartiere silenzioso e non disturbato. Il nostro appartamento era dotato di lavatrice utilizzata da mia moglie e da un ampia e confortevole terrazza, ottima per momenti di relax soprattutto alla sera. Ottima la pulizia. Proprietari gentili e disponibili per qualsiasi bisogno.

Ho soggiornato presso "Il Gelso" per una settimana con il mio compagno e nostra figlia di soli 5 mesi. L'appartamento è a soli 15 minuti a piedi dalla stazione e dal centro storico di Salerno ed è in una posizione comoda anche per prendere i mezzi per visitare la costiera. Al nostro arrivo ci ha accolti il proprietario, una persona davvero gentile e disponibile a fornire qualsiasi tipo di informazione. L'appartamento era pulito e dotato di ogni accessorio, nel bagno era presente anche la lavatrice che, per chi come noi soggiorna per più giorni o ha bambini è davvero una comodità, inoltre c'era un ampio terrazzo a cui si poteva accedere tramite una veranda. La casa è in una zona tranquilla per cui di notte si dorme serenamente e di giorno è tutto a portata (3-4 supermercati, negozi di frutta e verdura, panetteria, macelleria, poste). Consigliato! E grazie ancora al sig. Virgilio per l'ospitalità e la cortesia.

Ho soggiornato presso questa struttura in occasione del Salerno In Fantasy, data l'estrema vicinanza alla suddetta fiera.
La struttura è molto pulita e accogliente, fornita di tutto l'indispensabile (asciugamani, tv, asciugacapelli).
Le camere sono molto silenziose, ideali per farsi una dormita come si deve dopo una lunga e faticosa giornata.
Il proprietario è estremamente cortese e disponibile, dispostissimo a venire incontro alle esigenze di tutti.
Un posto che consiglio vivamente a chiunque abbia faccende da sbrigare in zona.

Struttura, semplice, pulita ed essenziale, Bed and Breakfast senza cucina (quella da 40 euro al gg, non so se nelle altre c'è), posizione abbastanza interna rispetto al lungomare, buona per chi vuole spendere poco e non ha problemi nel dover scendere fino al lungomare dato che non è proprio sotto casa.

L'appartamento è fornito di tutto ed è molto pulito. Ci siamo trovati molto bene, anche con il signor Virgilio, l'unica pecca è che per tornare dal lungomare all'appartamento c'è da camminare abbastanza, anche in salita.
