Agriturismo Murikè

We stayed for five days in the ancient Cilento, in the WWF Oasis of Bussento we did not find a cigarette butt or a single cm of plastic on the ground, we walked in silence for several tens of km as we hadn't done since last year, we heard a still hospitable dialect, we were shown the processing of LINEN that was done here, the stone mills, the water mills still active until a few decades ago, we ate anchovies as perhaps only from Pioppi to the whole Cilento they prepare, we checked the care with which the network of trails accessible to everyone is kept, all around these villages often defined as 'lost'. And every day we found in this agriturismo dedicated to the brooms the completion and the reason for the whole day, and for the next day: the people Eugenio and Angela, the imposing olive trees, the clean and fresh air at any time, the dried figs or in jams, the fragrant garden and the very close river, are the harmony made of simplicity between preserved landscape, ancient work, and respected rural environment. In this Cilentan natural space, one can re-feel and make their own if desired - with the help of the two hosts - life as it was and customs as they have become traditions. You can water the beans or tomatoes, go down to the nearby riverbed, sit in the hay, but also listen to the local stories and memory. We even found a real pool ready! And it is not true that it is unreachable: Michelin provides the complete route from Salerno (130 km) to the entrance of the agriturismo (printable), in a few seconds, without even an app or smartphone!

No one welcomed us upon arrival, we had to call. Also, we were told we could have dinner when we booked, but then it wasn't possible.

Very nice, totally immersed in the greenery and tranquility of the WWF oasis. Room and common areas tidy and clean. The owners are very helpful and friendly. They also produce a really good fig jam. We really enjoyed it. Recommended.

We stayed at this property for 2 nights. Little kindness and reception upon our arrival. Rooms without mosquito nets, unsanitized air conditioner (so we suffered from the heat since we couldn't open the windows due to insects coming in, nor turn on the air conditioner). Good breakfast but with few choices. Not to mention the fact that we had to find places to have dinner since dinner was no longer available at the agriturismo itself because the kitchen was closed and then no road signs to access the property which is located in a rather inconvenient spot and at night so dark to be scary, it feels like crossing a dark and isolated forest from the whole world. In short, not to return.

Accoglienza eccellente, la signora Angela è gentilissima e disponibile. Siamo stati per una sola notte, ma tanto è bastato per valutare ottimo questo B&B.

Forse sarebbe il caso di mettere qualche cartello di indicazioni, ma se seguite Google map col gps è perfettamente segnalato, magari fatevi indicare prima la strada. Il B&B è tra Sicilì e Morigerati, immerso nella natura tra gli ulivi e i fichi. Un posto magico dove potersi rifugiare in totale relax. Angela ed Eugenio sono davvero dei gestori alla mano, disponibili e ospitali. Eugenio è un conoscitore incredibile del territorio, e oltre che a mille storie da raccontare, ha sempre il consiglio giusto da darti qualsiasi cosa tu voglia fare in zona. Lui ci ha consigliato un ottima osteria dove andare a cenare a Morigerati, e sempre lui ci ha spinto ad andare a visitare l'Oasi del WWF a pochi passi dalla struttura. Cosa che naturalmente consigliamo di fare anche noi. La nostra camera era in una sorta di dependance, ma completamente ristrutturata e confortevole. Il letto molto comodo, c'è l'aria condizionata, la zanzariere e la pulizia era più che buona. Nel bagno forse manca qualche accorgimento, tipo un poggia-sapone nella doccia o un piccolo stendino se andate al mare e volete mettere il costume ad asciugare, ma nulla di trascendentale. Non è presente il bidet, bensì il wc con bidet incorporato con miscelatore regolabile. Mettete poi in conto che, essendo in campagna può capitare di imbattersi in qualche grillo o insetto. Ma noi siamo rimasti 3 notti e la camera è stata rassettata tutti i giorni. Io e la mia compagna siamo amanti degli animali e quindi abbiamo più che gradito la presenza di Martina, Marek e Paolino, i tre cani che vivono nel B&B. La mattina mentre facevamo colazione all'aperto, erano di buona compagnia. Angela ogni mattina prepara una torta fatta in casa, e soprattutto la marmellata di fichi di loro produzione, che da sola vale l'intera colazione. Ci siamo trovati molto bene. Insomma, io ci tornerei; anche domani!

Ottima ospitalità e cucina sopraffina e generosa.
