Welcome to Agriturismo Alla Vecchia Quercia: a countryside retreat in the Marche region featuring extra virgin olive oil production, a swimming pool, animals, apartments, and guest rooms.
Since 2000, we have lovingly managed this property, transforming it into a place dedicated to relaxation and the well-being of our guests.
**Apartments and Rooms**
Our guests stay in carefully renovated apartments accommodating two to six people, or in elegant rooms with private bathrooms.
For guests staying in the apartments, we offer a generous breakfast buffet on request, featuring homemade bread, jams, honey, and local cold cuts (€13 per person, children up to 10 years old €7). For guests staying in our rooms, breakfast is already included in the price.
Breakfast is served by reservation from 8: 30 a. m. to 9: 30 a. m.
**Farming and Olive Oil Production**
Our farm covers 20 hectares of organically cultivated land, including olive groves, meadows, and arable fields. Around 1, 400 olive trees located in different areas form the basis of our extra virgin olive oil production. In collaboration with the Contardi olive mill, we produce aromatic oils, including our distinctive lemon-infused olive oil.
**Sustainability and Renewable Energy**
Sustainability is one of our core values. Electricity generated by photovoltaic panels, solar thermal systems, and a wood-fired heating system supplied by our own woodland make our farm virtually CO?-neutral. In this way, we combine the comfort of a relaxing holiday with a responsible use of natural resources.
**Activities and Leisure**
Guests seeking an active holiday will find plenty of opportunities, including cycling tours with partner companies, horseback riding, model flying on Monte Catria, and excursions to the spectacular Frasassi Caves.
**Our Family**
We are a Swiss family who moved to the Marche region in 1999. Together with our parents and in-laws, we restored the borgo and transformed it with passion into a place where hospitality is at the heart of everything we do.
In this way, we bring together organic farming, sustainable energy, local products, and warm hospitality to create a place where guests can truly feel at home.
