Description

My home is to be found in the sestiere di Cannaregio, very close to the Ca' d'Oro palace, in an extremely central, yet peaceful area. The palace where I live dates back to the 1700's and reflects characteristic Venetian taste: period furniture, damask materials, Venetian flooring and with a magnificent facade overlooking a typical Venetian canal, the Rio di Santa Sofia.

The B&B Al Palazzetto is situated at the end of Calle delle Vele, in the quiet Calle Corrente, not far from the Cà d'Oro, the splendid 15th-century palace overlooking the Grand Canal.

From this lovely bed & breakfast in Venice, many interesting and spectacular monuments can be reached on foot in a very short time, such as Piazza San Marco in 10 minutes and the Rialto Bridge in 5 minutes, as well as extremely suggestive places such as the ancient Jewish Ghetto and the Abbey of Mercy.

Davide was an excellent host. He showed us our room and how to use the keys. This is a very beautiful historic house and it is 800 years old. It is very close to all of the action but far enough away where it was very quiet and we slept well. The breakfast was fabulous and Davide was very kind and helpful with recommendations and directions. I would stay here again. Thank you Davide.

Nice and well-kept B&B Al Palazzetto. Friendly and discreet hosts, provide tips, you can store luggage. Central and quiet location. The room on the ground floor is not as nice as the other rooms shown. We would come back.

Easy access from the Vaporetto stop and also to the Water Taxi to the Airport. David was an excellent host and very friendly. We highly recommend Al Palazzetto.

We had a very good time. The B&B Al Palazzetto is easy to find, about 15 minutes from S. Marco and 18 from the train station. Abundant and very good breakfast. Very comfortable bed and air conditioning in the room, which was very useful in this heat. The owner is very kind and helpful.

We got the room right at the entrance on the ground floor. It was very large and had a bathroom with shower and toilet. Also a TV, but we didn't use it. Unfortunately, the room wasn't as nice as the other bookable rooms, but cost just as much. In addition, one wakes up constantly when people enter the house and slam the front door and talk loudly, as well as when they walk around on the floor above us and use the toilet flush or run water. Unfortunately, many mosquitoes also come in through the windows, so they can never be opened, mosquito nets would be urgently recommended here. The breakfast is unfortunately only mediocre, there is salami and cheese every day, missing Italian ham or mozzarella, just some variety. The host is friendly but reserved. He kindly allowed us to leave the luggage in the house until the evening. Communication with him was good beforehand and we received quick responses. What was not good is that we had to pay 30€ more than what the app showed. He said he had mentioned it in a message, but it's only half true, it wasn't explained in good English, so you couldn't understand what he meant. Overall a mediocre stay with little sleep, we wouldn't book it again.

We stayed for three nights in a quadruple room. The structure is very beautiful in a quiet neighborhood and at the same time convenient to visit the city. Vaporetto stop a stone's throw away. Near the Rialto, convenient to shops and restaurants. The room is spacious and very clean. The breakfast is plentiful and very good, the manager is very kind. We thank you for the very pleasant stay. The house is wonderful, in Venetian style. Everything is perfect, we will definitely return.

My adult daughter and I loved our stay at B&B Al Palazzetto. Davide was a very accommodating host. The location was perfect - close enough to walk to Fondamente Nove for the vaporetto to Murano and Burano, close to many excellent restaurants, away from but close enough to the crowded streets, and close to the vaporettos down the Grand Canal to sightsee, catch the train or go to the airport (even with excessive luggage!). The breakfasts were delicious and served in a beautiful dining room. We stayed in 2 different spacious rooms during our stay - we loved the antique furniture and layout. And all for a very reasonable price. We highly recommend a stay at Davide's B&B.

Davide is an exceptional host, always courteous and helpful, ready to give advice on the city and have a chat. His B&B Al Palazzetto is very comfortable, in a spectacular location, in the heart of Cannaregio, a stone's throw from Strada Nova, full of shops and restaurants, and a few minutes from Rialto and Piazzale Roma. The breakfast is excellent and very rich, croissants and hot sandwiches are the best! We will definitely come back, highly recommended!

I must say that the location is perfect for those who want to stay in Venice and be close to everything. Located in a quiet area, in an ancient building in Venice. The owner was very kind, explained to me how the holiday bonus worked, allowed me to leave my backpacks before entering the room and before leaving. The breakfast was plentiful, and the WIFI worked well. The room was simple and reminded me a lot of my grandmother's room, it was simply furnished, very clean, had its own private bathroom with towels and shower products, also had a wardrobe to put things, TV, and air conditioning. For a short stay, it was perfect.

Davide, the owner, is a very kind and helpful person who made us feel comfortable right from the start (which apparently is not too obvious for a person from Naples going to Venice). The area of the B&B Al Palazzetto is very central and also very quiet. We visited most of the attractions of Venice mainly on foot (we only used the water taxi for the islands, and the Fondamenta Nuove station is less than ten minutes away on foot). The breakfast was good and plentiful, with many choices (something that I have rarely found in the offers of other B&Bs). The room where I stayed was a double room and, although small, it was very cozy and equipped with air conditioning. If I were to return to Venice, I would definitely like to stay in this B&B again. As for the price, I honestly cannot give an opinion because I paid with vacation vouchers, but the price seems fair for what it offers, especially compared to the high costs of Venice. Another important thing: in my opinion, the best places to eat in Venice (which are few) are right in the vicinity of the B&B or in the Jewish quarter, which is a few minutes walk away. So, highly recommended area for food and shopping.

Friendly host, responsive and flexible for check-in and also the time of breakfast. The room was clean, bathroom was clean too. The location is 15 min walk from St. Mark's Square. We expected a bit bigger fridge for four persons and maybe one bottle of water inside, haha. Generally, it is recommended.

Contesto molto familiare, gentilissimi i gestori della struttura che sono sempre stati disponibilissimi. Possibilità di accedere alla struttura in orario serale ed in autonomia e con la possibilità del deposito bagagli a termine del soggiorno. La colazione all'italiana semplice e buona, ottima, se integrata con qualche torta fatta in casa. Bella la stanza mansardata e con altana privata. Ottima struttura. Buono rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Gentilissimo il gestore della struttura che é stato disponibilissimo da subito e ci ha dato la possibilità di accedere alla struttura in orario serale ed in autonomia. Bellissima la nostra stanza mansardata con altana privata. La colazione semplice e buona forse può essere arricchita e migliorata. Ottima struttura.

This was a great B&B in Venice, an easy walk from the Station. Davide was a very helpful host and breakfast was lovely. We considered it good value accommodation and charmingly decorated in a traditional style. One of our children said they felt like Royalty there was so much gold in the room. We had 3 children and our 2 rooms were close and worked very well. We would stay again!

We have just returned from this hotel after spending 2 nights in the rooftop room with terrace. The host Davide was so helpful before our stay and during with any questions we had. Our room was perfect and the rooftop terrace was lovely to sit outside and chill. Breakfast was continental style and lovely. If we were return to Venice we would love to stay here again.

El alojamiento es muy correcto por emplazamiento y relación calidad precio. Es una casa típica de Venecia con lo que conlleva, es decir antigua y de origen pero eso también tiene su encanto. Desayuno adecuado y trato muy correcto por parte del propietario.

Un lugar encantador. Nos alojamos toda la familia. La habitacion era muy amplia y estaba muy limpia asi como el baño. El desayuno perfecto. Muy cerca andando de todos los sitios relevantes. Davide se porto fenomenal. Lo recomiendo sin ninguna duda.

Appena arrivate il gestore gentilissimo ci ha subito accolte e consegnato le chiavi della camera. L'edificio, che dall'esterno si presenta come uno dei tanti palazzi di Venezia, all'interno ha camere curate ed arredate in stile veneziano, calde e confortevoli. La colazione tipicamente all'italiana presenta degli ottimi cornetti caldi da farcire con crema alle nocciole o marmellate. Magari si potrebbe integrare con qualche torta fatta in casa. Ci siamo trovate molto bene, sia all'interno della struttura che per raggiungere i principali luoghi d'interesse, ottima posizione! I prezzi sono leggermente inferiori rispetto a quelli delle altre strutture consultate, senza però rinunciare alla qualità ed alla cortesia del gestore.

Ha sido un complemento perfecto a mi estancia en Venecia. El trato personal ha sido exquisito. Tengo un agradecimiento muy grande por haber venido a recogerme al vaporetto y acompañarme al alojamiento. (viajaba sola, eran las 22. 00 horas y llovía) Después de presentarme la habitación me acompañaron a un restaurante para cenar. Me he sentido como una amiga muy querida. La localización es perfecta. Cerca de todo pero alejado de las aglomeraciones de San Marcos. Habitaciones y baños amplios, limpios y confortables. El propietario muy amable sin ser invasivo. Nos atendió amablemente y nos hizo muchas recomendaciones sobre la ciudad. Nos sentimos como en casa. Lo recomendaría sin dudarlo.

Un endroit tranquille, agréable. Chambre spacieuse et lumineuse au rdc avec vue sur un canal. Petit déjeuner au 1er étage. Pain et croissants chauds chaque jour. Jambon, fromage, salade de fruits, céréales, confiture, miel. A 5 min à pied de l'arrêt Ca' d'oro, à 10 min à pied de Fondamenta nuova pour Burano, Torcello. A 2 minutes de Strada Nuova, mais à l'abri du flux touristique. En face du marché du Rialto accessible par traghetto. A 10 min à pied du pont du Rialto d'un côté, du ghetto de l'autre, à 25 min à pied de la gare.

Hemos pasado tres días maravillosos en la casa de Davide. Nos ha tratado estupendamente, la habitación era muy bonita, amplia y limpia, con vistas al canal, y el desayuno era perfecto. Nos hemos encontrado como en casa. A 5 minutos caminando de la estación Ca d'Oro del Vaporetto. Recomiendo a todo el mundo alojarse en este lugar.
