B&B Vigne Correr

Margherita and Severino Cescon wait you in their farm-house of Salgareda, in the lovely Ernest Hemingway places, along the river where the great writer Goffredo Parise chose its last dwelling. Our farm is born from one ancient tradition of family. The Bed & Breakfats "Vigne Correr" is the ideal place for who, travelling from Treviso, wish to spend relax and tranquillity moments in an intact and corner of the Venetian country, 20 km far from the center of the city. Few kilometers from Venice and the ancient city of Oderzo (the roman Opitergium). Our structure has four rooms, with 10 beds and one apartment, with private baths in each room to exclusive use of the guests and of one knows it for the free time and the first breakfast. A wide garden, ideal for the children games, a private parking is reserved for our guest. Dipped in the green of the Venetian country, the B&B “Vigne Correr” offers to their guest a tranquillity oasis in the nature not to far from the beautiful Venice.

The relais is situated in a farm house, totally restructured totally reserved for our guests. Managed from the family of Severino and Margherita Cescon, the structure guarantees a stay where to sleep and make breakfast is simple, in the respect of the atmosphere and the rural culture. It’s possible taste our typical wine products of the annexed zone agricultural company. A few steps from the Piave river, rich of history and suggestions, where Hernest Hemingway lived the drama of the war, but he left his heart, sweetheart of these campaigns that the madness of the man was destroying. The Nobel literature prize found in these places the inspiration for one of its greater works “A Farewell to Arm”.

Decades after one of the greatest Italian writers of the 900, Goffredo Parise, walking along the same river in Salgareda, saw an abandoned small house. He acquired it and made its last dwelling. In these places he wrote, “I Sillabari” and still today, thanks to the love of our people for this earth, its house, only 500 meters far from our Relais, is available for visits upon request. We invite you to appreciate our atmosphere, that you can only found in this corner of Venetian Country, carved from the man with its vineyards and awarded from the nature with its fluvial forests.
