The Gourmet Villa Landucci Bed and Breakfast was created by Florence on Call with the aim of offering a cozy place to discover the enogastronomic culture of the area, combined with the beauty of the city and its surroundings.
We are dedicated to promoting local producers, highlighting the quality of their foods and wines: we offer a healthy and organic breakfast (but not only), a wine cellar with all the best wines in the area, and a gastronomic library. And let's not forget about the city's and its surroundings' artisanal excellences.
The Villa, elegantly furnished, is spread over two floors for a total area of 280 square meters, with a garden of 100 square meters and private parking. It has perfect spaces for small events, and all rooms are spacious and bright, with balconies and terraces overlooking the garden, with comfortable armchairs and sofas.
Built in 1930, the Villa is named after Luca Landucci, a Florentine Renaissance apothecary. Its location, just 2 km from the Duomo, near Via Gioberti, makes it perfect for reaching the center of Florence, Fiesole and the wonderful Tuscan countryside.

Since we met on 2010 Laura and I shared the passion for travel, good food and history & secrets of Florence. Our top year was 2016 when we visited the biggest 5 museums of the world in 10 months only (Louvre, National Museum, MET, Fields Museum, Hermitage) and obviousely our Uffizi!
Related to hospitality my career start in ’98 from the bottom step of hospitality, the boy turning the doors. Only 6 years after I was a Clef d’Or member and Head Concierge of Hilton Florence Metropole, than similar position in the exclusive Palazzo Tornabuoni before starting my management run in a Chianti Hotel and now the new adventure in Villa Landucci.
Laura was an artisan – she made the amazing shade of Chianti Room – before following me in this new idea of hospitality.
Florence on Call start its activities in 2013 as a Private Concierge company with a focus on Food&wine activities in Tuscany.
In May 2019 we toke over Villa Landucci with the idea of applying the Food&Wine Tourism rules and Concierge assistance also to people that travel on Bed&Breakfast accomodation.

Area Campo di Marte
Villa Landucci enjoys a strategic position from which to visit the beauties of Florence and Tuscany. Located just 2km from the Gate of Paradise in the center of Florence, cradle of the Renaissance, it is an excellent starting point to discover the city, the Chianti area and its characteristic villages.
The neighbout where Villa Landucci is located is mainly a Florentines area and you can breath a more authentic atmosphere than in the Touristic City Center. The area surrounding Florence is full of towns and villages hosting gastronomical, historical, artistic excellences. You can start from Impruneta historically linked to terracotta: there are furnaces that still adopt the old production techniques, dating back to 1098 and laboratories open to the public, both to visit and to purchase.
Strada in Chianti with one of the best pasta factories in Italy, the historic Pastificio Artigianale Fabbri where you can also visit the small museum; San Casciano Val di Pesa with the house of “Il Principe” Niccolò Machiavelli, the castles and the parish churches of the Romanesque age; Greve, capital of the Chianti Classico with its splendid central square, the craft shops of hand-woven baskets and olive wood products; the medieval village of Montefioralle, known as one of the most beautiful cities in Italy and the home of Amerigo Vespucci; Panzano, known for its agricultural and wine production, the home of the famous “Florentine steak”; Bargino with the headquarters of the Antinori winery and the precious Abbey of Passignano, a jewel of medieval art.

Good price product. Both Matteo and the staff of the place have been very attentive and helpful. Excellent cleanliness, excellent bed and shower. Adequate breakfast. Location in a nice neighborhood, close to the historic center, one block from public transport. Without a doubt, we would choose it again.

Excellent solution for visiting the city in a neighborhood away from mass tourism, but convenient to reach the historic center. The manager is able to tell an alternative Florence if you already know the city but want to see something new. Excellent advice on local dining places.

The structure is a bit run down and not very clean. Electric sockets detached from the walls with visible electrical wires, lack of shutters on the window, shower that didn't drain properly, peeling wall under the air conditioner, poor breakfast...

Il mondo è bello perchè vario. Diciamo che volevate venire per il BB day ma non avevo più disponibilità e quindi avete anticipato non potendo godere dell'offerta? Agli altri clienti le giuste considerazioni

Room (for 4) very pleasant with a view of the garden. Matteo was very accommodating to allow us to use the parking lot before the hour, and very good advice for our stay. Breakfast would be better if it were more authentic and less industrial.

Croissant made by the bakery nearby. Some of the industrial products you find (all monopackages items likemarmelades , honey , spread cheese nutella and croissant) are a specific legal request we cannot cancel but we always have a "bio" alternatives ready. See you next time to get all the bio version for your breakfast!

Beautiful Villa with garden and car parking, comfortable, clean, located 2 km from everything that is visitable in Florence, very quiet place with Matteo, manager, owner, proprietor, director, a fantastic person, with a unique preparation, sociable, helpful, makes you feel comfortable and then advises you on everything by doing a briefing at the table with a map in hand on what to see in Florence and also in the surroundings, with a very precise list, recommends where to eat well with value for money, also suggests the best ice cream shops (recommendation why not since 1939), explains some tidbits or anecdotes about the city and/or monuments, what can I say, should be appointed as Tourism assessor, top! I highly recommend Villa Landucci and Matteo to everyone.

We stayed at Gourmet B&B Villa Landucci on the last weekend of October. The historic building, with a private garden, is well maintained and the rooms are well-kept. Convenient internal parking. Abundant and tasty breakfast. Matteo, the manager, available for any need, is a mine of information about the city and the places where you can taste the gastronomic and wine specialties of the area. An excellent experience.

Posto molto carino, estremamente il comodo il parcheggio auto interno, gestore onesto e molto disponibile, prezzo invariato anche usando il bonus vacanza, a dispetto di molti altri.
Qualche piccola pecca: il phon, di quelli piccoli a muro, ogni tanto non funzionava e avrei aggiunto qualche mensola in più in bagno e nella doccia
In ogni caso è una struttura in cui torneremmo con piacere

Bella struttura, Matteo è una persona gentilissima e disponibile l, pronto a risolvere qualsiasi problema o esigenza del cliente. Camere ampie e pulite. Colazione un po’ troppo ricca di burro ma capisco che gli americani e i tedeschi la preferiscono così. Ottima posizione. Da consigliare.

Abbiamo scelto questa favolosa struttura per la sua ottima posizione, in quanto il centro è raggiungibile a piedi in ca. 15-20 minuti, con la possibilità di lasciare l'auto comodamente nel parcheggio privato. Abbiamo notato fin dal momento della prenotazione la cortesia del proprietario Matteo, appassionato del proprio lavoro, che ci ha accolti calorosamente offrendoci per tutta la permanenza la sua disponibilità a fornirci ottimi consigli e informazioni su dove andare e dove mangiare. Gentilissima e professionale anche la collaboratrice Elisa. L'atmosfera della struttura è accogliente e curata nei dettagli. Le camere sono pulitissime, spaziose e comode. La colazione è stata davvero deliziosa, fresca e varia. Tornerei volentieri!

Edificio storico molto bello, pulitissimi la stanza e il bagno, arredamento curato, gestore disponibilissimo e simpatico, ci ha dato molti consigli su cosa visitare e dove mangiare, personale molto cordiale, distanza ottimale dal centro città, zona tranquilla. Consigliatissimo!
