Bed & Breakfast "La Cornice" is located 500 meters from the historic center of San Gimignano, within a 6-minute walk. Immersed in the green of the large private garden, 800 sqm wide, in the shadow of the olive trees, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the hilly town. The well-kept garden is equipped with barbecue facilities for guests, sun loungers, sun loungers, relaxation area with gazebo where you can relax by reading a book or sipping a glass of wine surrounded by greenery and stunning views of the medieval towers.
The recently purchased property has been expertly restored. Sophisticated and original furnishings, our family-run B & B is able to combine all the comforts of modern facilities with the flavor of the surrounding environment. The structure is made up of a large breakfast lounge with panoramic views over San Gimignano, there are also two tables on the terrace adjacent to the living room, overlooking the garden and the medieval towers.
On the first floor there are the four rooms each featuring a private bathroom and private terrace with table and chairs. Each rooms are equipped with a minibar, air conditioning / heating, Electric shutters, satellite TV and a Free wi-fi connection. At guests' disposal there is a laundry room with washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board. Good opportunity to find free car parking in the street or nearby.
Breakfast, abundant, is respectful of local traditions, offering both a "sweet" part with coffee, cappuccino, tea milk, homemade cakes, local jams, yoghurt, cereals and fruit, which a continental part with breads, meats, cheeses, Seasonal tomato.

Benedetta is really pleasant and gives good advice. For breakfast, we have to order, but I think it would be better to present it in a simpler way. Eggs, cheese, ham, yogurt, cereal, bread, butter, jam, croissant, cake - we all have different tastes.

Practically perfect. Benedetta and her father make you feel at home, pamper you in a beautiful setting with a breathtaking view of San Gimignano. The rooms are tastefully furnished, clean, and spacious. The abundant and quality breakfast is served on the beautiful outdoor terrace of the garden. You couldn't ask for more. Absolutely recommended.

During our bike tour through Tuscany, San Gimignano, B&B 'La Cornice', was our stopping point for 2 days! We were warmly welcomed by Benedetta and were amazed by the stunning location with a view of the towers. First of all, our bikes found a nice, secure place. Our room was superb, nothing was missing. The breakfast was the best on our tour, freshly prepared, we even got bruschetta, fried eggs, and... upon request! Thanks to Benedetta and her small family team for their effort and their loving fulfillment of guest wishes! Keep it up.

The first thing I want to highlight is the kindness at all times of our hostess Benedetta, always smiling. If you come like us with a rental car, you can park on the same street, you always find a place to do it. You can easily walk to San Gimignano being less than 10 minutes away. Both the room and the rest of the facilities were very clean, spacious room with everything you need and air conditioning. The breakfast was very good, where you can find local products such as bruschettas and homemade cakes, excellent cappuccino. Having breakfast in the garden with a view of San Gimignano is priceless, the views are truly spectacular. It's a place I recommend and would return to without hesitation.

The structure is practically perfect. Impeccable cleanliness, new and very beautiful furniture, great location, in a quiet street with an exceptional view of the towers of San Gimignano, which can be reached on foot in 10 minutes. Abundant and excellent breakfast, fresh (fruit juice, coffee, homemade pastries, toast, fresh croissants). Kind and helpful host. Free parking in front of the B&B. Special mention also for the website, very clear and full of proposals to spend time in a territory that never gets boring. Fair price.

She was always ready to give us information where we needed it.
The breakfast was really good and the B&B was located in a quiet part of the town where you had a magnificent vieuw on San Gimignano. It was located 500m from the city center.

Die Lage ist perfekt, in etwa 15 Minuten ist man zu Fuß in San Gimignano. Benedetta hat uns herzlich empfangen. Das Appartment Mina ist super für 2 Erwachsene und ein Kind, großes Elternschlafzimmer und geräumiges Kinderzimmer. Große Dusche, Shampoo und Seife vorhanden, alles wunderbar. Wir waren außerdem sehr froh über die moderne Klimaanlage und auch das freie Wlan hat bestens funktioniert. Die kleine Küchenzeile bietet alles, was man so braucht. Hier war nur leider das Geschirr nicht ganz so sauber, das sollte besser vor Anreise der neuen Gäste kontrolliert werden.
Das Frühstück für 6 Euro war sehr gut. Jeden Tag gab es leckeren selbst gebackenen Kuchen und eine toskanische Spezialität. Das absolute Highlight am Morgen, ist das Frühstück im Garten mit einzigartigem Blick auf die Türme von San Gimignano. Benedetta gibt wertvolle Tipps zur Erkundung der Umgebung. Sie spricht sehr gut englisch.
Während unseres Aufenthaltes war es sehr heiß. Zu unserem ganz perfekten Urlaubsglück hätte nur noch der Pool im Garten gefehlt.
Alles war super und auf dem neuesten Stand, lediglich dass wir bar zahlen mussten (in der Reservierungsbestätigung stand Kartenzahlung) fanden wir etwas lästig. Man hat nicht gerne soviel Bargeld dabei und in der Wohnung gibt es keinen Safe. Das sollte unbedingt geändert werden.
Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft zu 100 Prozent weiter und kommen bestimmt wieder!

La Cornice was the perfect B&B for us! It is conveniently located a short walk from the San Gimignano town square, and the view is unbeatable. Benedetta's hospitality is unparalleled.
Not only was she helpful and accommodating throughout the booking process, she gave us wonderful suggestions and tips for our daily excursions around Tuscany once we were there.
The amenities at the B&B were wonderful, and breakfast was such a treat every morning--homemade baked goods, fresh bruschetta, homemade jams, and coffee made to order.
I can't give enough positive feedback for the B&B and hosts.

Alojamiento perfecto para visitar San Gimignano y alrededores. Casa muy acogedora, con habitaciones amplias y muy limpias, todo decorado con mucho gusto. Desayunar en la terraza con vistas a San Gimignano es todo un placer. Con la amabilidad y la sonrisa de Benedetta no se puede pedir mucho más!

We stayed here two nights during our latest holiday in Italy.
La Cornice is located approx. 700 m from the historic centre of San Gimignano (easy walk, mostly flat). Rooms are modern and include a private bathroom, A/C, TV, wifi, a small fridge and a private balcony.
Public car park is available around the B&B without charge.
Breakfast is served (at least when we were there in August) in the garden, overlooking the skyline of San Gimignano.
The owner, Bernadetta, is very nice and helpful and also speks English very well.
