Our holiday home is found in at Modica art city, rich in archaeological sites and buildings of great architectural merit, in a location with a spectacular view, in the historic heart of the city. "Prua Al Castello" is a building of the past where the magic of history blends with modern amenities.

Nearby our guests will find several monuments and famous places. Remember that just only 230 m away there is the "Duomo di San Pietro". Any football fans can catch their team playing at nearby stadium "Stadio Caitina di Modica".

Area city center

Historic area: ancient Casale district.
The Casale district, surmounted by the hills of Giganta, S. Acconzio and, to the south, Monserrato, was one of the four ancient Modicano quarters together with those of Francavilla, on the slope of the hill to the left of the church of S. Giorgio and on the next plateau of Modica Alta, of Porta d'Anselmo, which extended from the ancient gate to the north of the walls of the Castello dei Conti to the entire area below or to the current district of S. Maria della Catena and Vignazza, and finally to Body of Earth - which included the restricted area around the cathedral of S. Pietro - with the attached billboard, extended to include the districts of S. Anna, del SS. Salvatore and the "Olivella" and that of the Convent of the Capuchin Friars.
