The great Escoffier was right!
A nice breakfast in the morning prepares you to spend an exciting day
The glass of orange juice
The croissant (chocolate or yellow cream or ricotta cheese) and fresh bread from the baker
The organic jams: (figs, mulberries, lemon, tangerine, orange)
The fresh sheep's ricotta
Butter and yogurt and fruit
This is the basic breakfast but sometimes there are more surprises!
Hey from Vincenzo
Going to the theater "Massimo" to view and listen to an opera, a ballet or a concert;
Go to the Teatro Biondo to enjoy a beautiful text of prose;
Go around the stalls of the flea market in Piazza Marina in Palermo always;
Read a good book sitting on the last of the B&B terrace admiring the sunset on the Egadi;
Canoeing in front of the body of water of the salt pans of Trapani;
Go for a swim in the impressive Torre Ligny;
Stroll through the beautiful historic center of Trapani;
Preparing an appetizer to my guests returning from the sea;
Prepare breakfast in the morning under the canopy of the delights of the terrace and talk with my guests doing everything to make them feel at home, welcome to me is an art!
Think long if necessary to accept someone as a friend, but once decided, receive him with all your heart and speak with him openly as yourself.
Lucius Annaeus Seneca, Letters to Lucilius, 62/65.
Area city center
Every morning fishing boats return to the harbour followed by seagulls flying behind.
When the wind blows you can smell the sea while sitting in the terrace, where a delicious breakfast is ready for you.
Take your swimming gear and have relaxing swims under the Tower of Ligny. From there you can enjoy one of the most impressive sunsets of Sicily. The place has an emphasis on peace and quiet. Walk in the pedestrian precinct of Trapani Baroque town centre and enjoy a romantic evening along the city walls of Tramontana overlooking the sea.
On the following day a trip to the Egadi islands is a must. At five minutes’ walk from the B&B there is the port of Trapani, where you can take a hydrofoil to Favignana, Levanzo and Marettimo. Moreover, a ten minutes’drive will take you to one of the most fantastic sights nearby: the Saline, salt-pans with windmills standing behind against the skyline, a stunning view in the moonlight; there you can also see flamingos in the water if you go for a ride early in the morning.
It will take you thirty minutes’drive to reach the isle of Mothia with its interesting museum, rich of Phoenician remains. You should also visit Marsala, a town famous for its excellent wines and wine cellars, where visitors can try some of the best ones; also the museum deserves a visit and you can admire a Punic ship there.
The House of Argo is conveniently situated for public transportation. A few minutes’walk takes you to a bus stop where you can catch a free bus to piazza Vittorio, and from there you can take bus 23 to the cable car station to Erice, a charming medieval village on the hill. Near piazza Vittorio there are the central Railway station and Coach station. The Segesta coach company runs buses to Palermo almost every hour. The airport of Birgi can be reached in twenty minutes
by car and a bus service is available from and to Trapani.
a discount is also granted to guests booking over 4 nights.
Argo, my dog, is waiting for you!
