Agritourism (organic farming) in Etna Regional Park.
At Cirasella dell’Etna guests stay in a traditional lava-stone farmhouse surrounded by high trees in a peaceful location that affords beautiful views of the sea and volcano
An ideal spot for mounting excursions to the top of Mount Etna or such surrounding points of interest as Taormina and Syracuse.
Cirasella is also a cultural center with classes for adults and children on Yoga, Rei-ki Therapy, Theta Healing, and the ecological way of life.
Cirasella’s guests stay in a fully renovated lava-stone farmhouse dating to the mid-nineteenth century. The building once housed living quarters, stalls for animals, and a traditional “palmento” (the place for producing and storing wine).
There are four naturally cool rooms (13 beds in total) equipped with individual bathrooms, heating, TV, and separate entrances.
A changing table, bottle heater, and child’s bath is also available for parents. One of the four rooms is handicap accessible. There is, an addition, a common room located in the old palmento.
Accommodations come in three forms, which guests are welcome to arrange on a day-to-say basis:

- Half Board (breakfast plus one meal, lunch or dinner)

Laura and Giuseppe love the simple and natural so in 1993 they decided to return to live in the country starting to rebuild the old traditional stone houses and restart farming matodo with natural and organic agriculture.
They love to do if many crafts and works varie. They are enthusiasts traditional cuisine with attention to health and prepare only the best seasonal dishes of the Sicilian tradition. I personally prefer vegan and vegetarian meals with ingredients and Sicilian recipes.
Among the hobbies of Joseph, mountain walks, trips on Harley Davison and target shooting, swimming in the nearby sea of Ripon.
Among the hobbies of Laura: floriculture, yoga and energy therapies and herbal, reading and swimming.
They both love animals very much.

Not infrequently the show is given by the volcano with its fountains of fire and lava red and fuming that can be admired from here especially at night.

Farmhouse on Etna managed by Laura and Giuseppe with the typical Sicilian hospitality - We became part of their family. Laura really pampered us with her exceptional cuisine, Giuseppe with his stories.
Highly recommended for those who want to experience nature and the most authentic Sicily, for those who want to slow down the frenetic pace that overwhelms daily life.

A corner of paradise, immersed in a splendid reserve. Laura and Pippo are two helpful and interesting people, with whom you absolutely must have a chat. The location is great and the owners know how to give very useful advice on what to see in the surroundings. The breakfast is a dream, and for dinner there are no words to describe all the abundant delicacies that the owners prepare. \nA place to return to, as soon as possible.

Laura and Giuseppe were wonderful hosts. Their renovation of an old winery sire is amazing! We had a wonderful, traditional Sicilian dinner the first night, and breakfast had so much of everything good, we could hardly walk! The area around CirasellaEtna had so much to explore, from lava tunnels and craters, to beautiful forsts and winery visits. We had a great couple days!

The informal and authentic welcome, the sense of discreet hospitality of the hosts, the silence and peace of the neighboring woods, the good and genuine food, characterized by always different dishes, make this structure a truly magical place that made our vacation special! The hosts are deep connoisseurs of Etna and all the surrounding realities and spontaneously create simple maps with the aim of "guiding" travelers and hikers to discover the places of the volcano, from the simplest excursions to the more adventurous ones. The structure is indeed located in a strategic starting point for the various Etna itineraries or even for excursions in the nearby sea areas, including the splendid Taormina.

Siamo stati molto ben accolti dai gestori che hanno avuto un occhio di riguardo anche per i nostri amici a quattro zampe. Cordiali e cortesi senza affettazione ci hanno fornito tutte le indicazioni preziose per effettuare le nostre escursioni sull'Etna.
Buona la colazione come anche la cena con prodotti locali coltivati in gran parte in azienda e ben cucinati.
Una struttura sostanzialmente spartana ed essenziale col sapore di campagna vera , come noi ricercavamo.
Ci si è sentiti subito a casa per la accogliente attenzione offerta dai proprietari, moglie Laura e marito Giuseppe, verso i rapporti con i propri ospiti. Bella la tenuta con una posizione fantastica proprio sotto il vulcano.

Come non innamorarsi dell'agriturismo Cirasella Etna. Lì abbiamo trovato la pace, il relax, il mangiare buono preparato con amore e precisione. La natura che circonda l'accogliente struttura rustica e il connubio di saggezza e simpatia dei proprietari Laura e Giuseppe sono fattori determinanti nell'affermare che è un agriturismo dove ritornare.

Summary: one of the best ever locations in Italy, with perfect food and warmest hospitality ever.
Sicily has been on our wish list for years. Our choice to stay at La Cirasella, 1. 000 m up the Etna slopes, greatly added to the indeed great experience the island turned out to be.
The warm welcome already started during booking. Where Laura went out of her way to provide near instant help with all our questions.
When arriving at 9 pm we were invited to the main dining table to find a wide variety of delicious dishes set out for our first of many great diners.
Each morning we and the other guests were amazed at the assortment of delicious, often home cooked and healthy breakfast dishes. Indeed the nicest start of yet another day of walking the Etna slopes, visiting historic towns and strolling on the beaches. And of course enjoying Italian ice cream: -) Tip: try pistachio ice, you'll want to take a big box home with you..
La Cirasella is located in the Etna national park and a great start, some right out of the gate, for walks on the lava flows and near moonlike landscapes. From our quiet and relaxing apartment the cities of Taormina, Giarre, Catania and many idyllic small mountain towns were within easy reach.
A nice bonus to all this are the warm and energetic patrons Laura and Pippo. With Laura we had nice talks over (did I say delicious already?) diner and breakfast. To us a great touch is having our meals at one big table with the other guests. We learned about Malta from our neighbours and had chats about all kinds of small and big topics.
We can advice all readers looking for a place to stay in beautiful Sicily to at least check out La Cirasella as an option. You will not regret it one minute!

Absolut empfehlenswerte Unterkunft, Laura und Giuseppe sind zwei sehr liebenswerte Gastgeber, die Unterkunft ist in perfekter Lage für natur- und ruhesuchende Menschen und idealer Ausgang für Wanderungen in der Ätnaregion. Besonders hervorzuheben ist Lauras Kochkunst, das Abendessen war täglich ein Erlebnis. Nicht zu vergessen ein Spaziergang durch den alten Obstgarten mit phantastischem Blick auf den Ätna.
