B&B Nonno Gino is a cozy bed and breakfast in Marsala, located in the heart of the historic center, in an ideal position for those who want to explore the city on foot and experience an authentic stay in western Sicily.
Looking out from the romantic balcony, you can admire the Garibaldi arch that marks the entrance to the old town. Garibaldi and his Thousand entered here after the landing on May 11, 1860.
The property is just a few steps away from the main points of interest in Marsala, such as the Cathedral of St. Thomas of Canterbury, the Spanish quarter now home to the town hall, the Garibaldi Museum housed in the monumental complex of San Pietro, the archaeological museum Baglio Anselmi, where the Punic ship is preserved, the Sybil's cave and the mosaics of the Roman insula, the seafront and the shopping streets. You will find plenty of small local places where you can taste the typical delicacies of Sicily, from cannoli to arancini, couscous, and freshly caught fish dishes. It is also an excellent starting point to visit the Marsala salt pans, the wine cellars of the famous Marsala wine that is still produced today with great passion, Mozia, and the beaches of the coast. We had a very good stay at B&B Nonno Gino. Alessandro is a great host, very professional yet very friendly and available for his guests. He gave us great recommendations for visits and restaurants and even helped us book a tour of the Florio Masala Cantine. The room was comfortable, pristine, and quiet. We stayed in a triple room, very spacious with a mosquito net at the window, a comfortable bathroom with a fan and no window. Recently renovated structure, excellent breakfast, excellent central location. We parked on the street with white stripes about 500 meters away. The only downside is that at times we heard a noise, not well identified, like an old washing machine, and with the wooden stairs in the hall some guests are very noisy.

Alessandro is a super friendly and helpful host. He gave us great tips on restaurants, beaches, and excursions. The apartment is located in a very central location, on a side street in the city center, and is quiet. The room was large and very clean. Absolutely fabulous! This B&B is better than a five-star hotel! Massive rooms with en-suite bathroom. Comfortable bed and pillows. Nice decoration but functional and very clean, with everything you might need. Attentive owner who goes above and beyond to make sure you have a comfortable stay. Delicious breakfast with an assortment of paninis and pastries which Alessandro, the owner, daily adapts to your taste. And you cannot beat the location: behind the cathedral and within walking distance to everything worth visiting in Marsala. We will certainly be back!

My husband and I stayed at this B&B for two nights. Large, comfortable, and spacious room and a bathroom equipped with every comfort. Impeccable cleanliness everywhere. The idea of the unique table in the kitchen where we could have breakfast all together was very nice, and it allowed us to make friends with another couple staying at the property. Alessandro is a perfect host, as well as a very kind person. Very kind, affable, always smiling, and generous with tourist but also personal advice. It was a pleasure to meet him and stay at his property, and we will not hesitate to return if we pass through Marsala again.

We arrived in Marsala very late, around midnight, because our flight to Trapani was diverted to Palermo due to an incredible fog over Birgi. Alessandro's availability, despite the late arrival time at his property, was exceptional: we felt welcomed as if by a friend we hadn't seen in a long time. The property, located in the heart of Marsala, is impeccable, comfortable, and tastefully furnished. The detail of water and tea/coffee available to guests and the excellent breakfast in the nice bar downstairs are other positives of this B&B. We left with a beautiful memory of this experience in Marsala.

B&B very nice and tastefully decorated, in the city center, very close to Via Garibaldi. Excellent cleanliness. Breakfast in the nearby bar with delicious typical pastries and sweets. Everything works very well, the room is equipped with every comfort. Alessandro is a delightful person, very friendly, he helped us with everything. Thank you Alessandro! Highly recommended!

Alessandro was very kind, welcoming, very helpful with his advice! The property is in a very central location, there are also parking possibilities nearby. The B&B is new, clean, really very nice. The breakfast at the bar below the property did not offer a great choice of croissants but in any case the breakfast was good. If you stop in the Marsala area this B&B is the right choice.

Super nice, clean, welcoming structure. Good taste in furnishings, large and comfortable rooms, brand new and beautiful bathroom. We were greeted by exquisite, helpful, and super kind people. Attentive and precise towards Covid safety regulations, which shows respect and professionalism. Right in the center, very convenient to reach. We definitely recommend it!

Excellent structure inside the city center, with the possibility of leaving the car in white stripes always close to the structure, very helpful and friendly manager for any explanation, clean rooms always in order, I will highly recommend it.
