Description
"Il Pozzo Antico" is located in Mascali, Ideal location to reach the Etna Park, Taormina or Acireale. The property has been recently renovated and is sorrounded by greenery between crops tomatoes, zucchini and various vegetables.

The rooms, all equipped with en-suite bathroom with toiletries, equipped with minibar, LCD TV and air conditioner. In an environment of natural beauty with spectacular panoramic views of Etna To the sea, Guests can enjoy dishes made with products and vegetables grown within the same company farm.

You may cancel your booking up to 180 days before the check-in date. In the case of failure to show or late cancellation, you will be charged a penalty of 100% of the total cost of the booking

Our breakfast is served in winter in the dining room, in the summer under the shade of a majestic mulberry tree or under a gazebo.

The breakfast buffet includes hot croissants cooked in our wood oven, chocolate muffins, apple pies, chocolate sweets, yogurt muffins, fruit, homemade bread, rusks, butter, jams, nutella, toast hot, cereals, coffee, tea, cappuccino, various juices.

For lovers of continental breakfast we have a small à la carte menu from which you can choose between omelette, bacon eggs, cold cuts, cheeses or vegetables and more.

In this magical setting of paradisiacal scenery, those who wish to taste the delicious products of the farm can take advantage of the excellent typical restaurant, which offers Sicilian and Mediterranean dishes, with particular attention to the scents of herbs and vegetables, according to the excellent preparations of the fantastic and tireless cook. The dishes are made with farm-fresh ingredients, following the seasonality and kilometer-zero principles.

The restaurant stands in front of a gigantic mulberry tree, which dominates the structure and welcomes guests by directing them with its indications (the very long branches) either to the rooms or to the restaurant.

Its majesty makes guests feel protected and finally it seems like entering a world of magic and relaxation.

On the upper terrace above the restaurant, where you can admire the sovereignty of Mount Etna in all its grandeur, from this terrace it seems possible to touch the volcano with a finger, and its impressive scenic beauty suddenly opens up in front of you.

We stayed 2 nights and 3 days at Agriturismo Il Pozzo Antico and we had a great time from the first day. The staff was extremely kind and super helpful. The farmhouse is in a great location to visit all the main attractions of eastern Sicily including Etna, Taormina, Acireale, and Catania. Excellent dining service with abundant breakfast and fresh products.

I stayed at Agriturismo Il Pozzo Antico for six nights and my boyfriend and I had a great time. A wonderful place immersed in nature, cool, not far from the town of Giarre and strategically located to visit the stretch of coast between Catania and Taormina. Upon our arrival, we found a very clean room, linens, soaps, and fresh water in the fridge. The room is equipped with an air conditioner that we didn't even need to turn on during our stay around the week of Ferragosto. Both the owner and the rest of the staff were welcoming and always available to us, from the rich breakfasts to the dinners in the splendid garden of the b&b, where we had the pleasure of tasting fresh products grown in the adjacent vegetable garden. I feel like recommending Agriturismo Il Pozzo Antico to everyone, especially to those looking for a welcoming place immersed in nature in this splendid land, away from the frenzy of the nearby tourist destinations.

Highly recommended! We stayed at this facility for a week: the staff is very friendly, especially Rosy, ready to meet all our needs. The cleanliness is excellent, every day the room is tidy and with clean linen. The structure is immersed in the countryside and is 2 minutes from an exceptional beach with very clean sea: Fondachello! I highly recommend going there! Rating 10+.

The holiday in this structure was relaxing. The room always very clean. The location is convenient for the sea and to see various tourist places. Rosy was attentive and helpful to every request. I really hope to be able to go back there.

Excellent location to reach both the sea and the main tourist spots, surrounded by nature and away from the chaos. Impeccable cleanliness and good restaurant. Perhaps the only flaw is the noise of the guests and especially children at the restaurant until late at night, but considering that you are on vacation, you can accept going to bed late.

Agriturismo immerso nel verde con vista Etna e a pochissima distanza dal mare. Dotata di ristorante e ampio parcheggio (sterrato). Camere abbastanza spaziose e dotate di climatizzatore. Bagno con finestra. Ottima ed accurata la pulizia. Frequente il cambio di lenzuola e giornalmente quello degli asciugamani. La titolare è sempre stata gentilissima, simpatica e disponibile per le nostre richieste anche per i consigli su cosa visitare nei dintorni. Ottima la colazione. L'annesso ristorante/pizzeria è qualcosa di spettacolare. Ottimi cibi presentati in maniera impeccabile. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è elevato. In futuro la struttura dovrebbe essere arricchita da una piscina. Consiglio vivamente...

In questa struttura trovi Pulizia, cortesia, disponibilità, gestore (Rosy) attentissima alle esigenze degli ospiti, cibo delizioso, aria fresca e pulita, e per finire anche angoletti romantici dove cenare. Che vuoi di più? Ci torneremo sicuramente, e come diceva un vecchio detto: Provare per credere. Anche la vicinanza al mare altro pregio.

Struttura immersa nel verde con vista Etna e a pochissima distanza dalla spiaggia. Dotata di ristorante e vasto parcheggio. Camere sufficientemente spaziose anche se poco illuminate e dotate di climatizzatore. Bagno con finestra. Buona la pulizia. Frequente il cambio di lenzuola e giornalmente quello degli asciugamani. La titolare è sempre stata disponibile per le nostre richieste, anche per i consigli su cosa visitare nei dintorni. Migliorerei la colazione arricchendola con fette biscottate, formaggi ed affettati. Consiglierei sicuramente la struttura.

Simpatica struttura immersa nel verde unica pecca la strada un po stretta ma in compenso la gestione di Rosy ti fa dimenticare il disagio camere pulite noi abbiamo anche cenato nella struttura che è anche un ottimo agriturismo. Fatevi consigliare da Rosy per qualsiasi attività lei ha sempre la soluzione.

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable en compagnie de Rosy et sa famille. Elle est très accueillante et toujours disponible. Nous avons dîné tous les soirs au restaurant et nous nous sommes régalés. Tout était délicieux. C'est un endroit calme et reposant au milieu des citronniers, entre la mer et l'Etna (attention: il faut trouver le chemin qui y mène!). Il manquerait juste des fauteuils ou chaises longues pour se reposer des journées de visites.
