Il "Porrino-Self Checking" is part of a company that manages various Guest Houses in town and this is the reason why we are able to guarantee the highest professionalism.

At the "Porrino Self-Checking" we provide our guests 4 modern rooms with private bathroom in each room, free wifi, air conditioning/heating and flat screen TV. Furthermore, in a small common area you will have the opportunity to consume coffee, tea and herbal teas kindly offered by our landlord. Furthermore, and for your convenience in terms of arrival and departure times, we are pleased to offer the possibility to all our customers to carry out the "Checking" and Check-out" in full autonomy despite, during your arrival and your stay, our staff will always be at your disposal by telephone to help you or even just for simple advice.

Our guest house is the perfect place for those who want to visit Alghero but want to stay away from the nocturnal chaos of the tourist part. In fact, our guest house is located in a very quiet area of Alghero which we locals consider the real center of Alghero since it is inhabited only by us locals. The area is equipped with supermarkets which are certainly cheaper than those located in the Harbour area, the real center for Alghero tourism and which can be reached in just ten minutes on foot following one of the main roads of Alghero (Via Sant'Agostino).

Once you reach the Port, on the left you will find the historic center which is of great beauty, with an urban planning and architectural design common to the medieval cities of the small Crown of Aragon. On the right instead you will find the first city beaches even if the most famous beaches of Alghero are all located outside the city: Le Bombarde, il Lazzaretto, Mugoni are all beaches that are located within the protected marine area of Porto Conte and they can be reached either with your own vehicle or with a bus called the "Beach Bus" which has one of its stops (Piazza della Mercede) just a 5-minute walk from our guest house.
