Description
The Bed & Breakfast Borgo San Pietro is named after the nearby church of San Pietro (XI Century). Our B&B includes two prestigious buildings dating back to the early 20th century. The structures have been totally renovated according to the local rural style. Borgo San Pietro is in the heart of Agnone, the “City of Art” of Molise, which was awarded the Orange Flag by the Italian Touring Club (quality award for highly valued environmental tourism)
Guests of Borgo San Pietro are hosted in fine rooms and apartments in two buildings early
The two buildings have been beautifully renovated by local craftsmen, who were able to uncover the otherwise lost stone walls and brick arches. The chianche tiles (original flooring) were recuperated and also the original furniture was rescued and finished. Every little detail in the apartments reflects the rural styles of these lands, further enriched by early 20th century iron bed frames and handmade curtains. The B&B offers apartments accommodating 2 to 4 people, fully equipped with a kitchen, private bathroom and panoramic balconies. Guests can also choose amongst the double bedroom, all with private bathrooms. Make yourself an open air lounge surrounded by the history and culture of Agnone “The City of Art”.

B&B Borgo San Pietro, as far as we are concerned, it was not a pleasant experience at all. We were accommodated in a ground floor room without air conditioning. Furthermore, we noticed that the bathroom had no window and the toilet seat was partially broken. The shutters of the only window in the room were difficult to keep open as the two respective stops on the wall did not secure them properly. Nevertheless, the next morning we sent a message to the B&B owner, simply pointing out the broken toilet seat and thanking for the hospitality. It was a pity to find no response from the owner, despite having read the message.

Mi scusi tanto per non aver risposto. Mi potrà perdonare per la mancanza di rispetto? Il periodo è molto impegnativo e purtroppo dopo aver letto il suo messaggio, mi sono sfortunatamente dimenticata. Solo per precisare,con l'assegno regalo Smartbox, si ha diritto alla camera standard, la camera con balcone e con bagno con la finesta purtroppo non è disponibile con questo tipo di soggiorni. Grazie

The property is located at the end of the historic center, from where, on foot, you can reach all the places to visit and at the same time easily find free parking. It does not have common areas, but at this time you don't miss them. The room (Catino) is spacious and well heated, equipped with extra blankets and pillows. Both the room and the bathroom were very clean. Only a very small downside: there is no soap/shower gel holder in the shower, you have to put them on the floor. The breakfast (hot and cold drinks, croissant) is in agreement with a nearby bar (Bar Letterario). Good breakfast and very kind staff.

I stayed with Smartbox, breakfast was not included in the package. The room has a great view over the valley, very impressive. The room is well cleaned and spacious. The only downside is the bed pillows, low and hard.

I stayed in the Paiolo apartment; only negative points: the lack of comfortable seating (having the sofa bed open), the rather uncomfortable table with that bench underneath, and with the restaurants "limited" due to covid, something to heat up food bought outside would have been appreciated, these are details, overall the structure is very welcoming, clean and quiet.

Struttura curatissima in ottima posizione (centrale ma con ottime possibilità di parcheggio libero). Ambienti ampi, letto comodissimo e cucina molto attrezzata per chi preferisce mangiare "a casa". Intorno un paese incantato e abitanti di una gentilezza dimenticata nelle città. Torneremo sicuramente. Fabio Piergiovanni.

This apartment situated at the border of the historical center of Agnone is spacious, nicely decorated and very comfortable for 4 adults (2 bedrooms). It is the nicest place where we have been accommodated during a week in Molise province. The breakfast service in a nearby coffee shop could be either improved or removed from the renting rate, since the apartment kitchen and dining room is well equipped and spacious.
