Description

The Bed and Breakfast at the Right Corner is the ideal place for a stay in Milan.

Ozone sanitization is carried out in the rooms for every guest change.

It is located in a very quiet area of the city on the second floor (no elevator) of a small building owned by the Giusto family.

It consists of three recently renovated, spacious and bright rooms thanks to the French doors that open onto the balconies. Each room has a private bathroom, balcony, air conditioning, TV and free wifi.

The dining room is equipped for breakfast, which is available without time limits. The room is also available to guests who can have hot and cold drinks, heat food, and consume take away meals. Cooking is not allowed.

At the Right Corner, you will find all the information for using public transportation, indications on nearby places to have meals and to buy take away dishes delivered to your home, information on nearby theaters and their show programs, as well as exhibitions in the city.

Breakfast is included and you can prepare it without time limits. In fact, the dining room is always equipped with everything you need. You will find a pod coffee machine with which you can make a great espresso, a microwave oven, a toaster, cereals, cookies, croissants, toast, honey, jam, and Nutella. There is also a fridge with milk and yogurt, and a kettle to prepare tea and herbal infusions at any time of the day.

My name is Monica, I am 55 years old and I have been living in this house since I was born.

It was built by my grandparents in the 1950s, during the boom when this area of Milan was mostly fields.

I live in the building with my family, my husband, and my two children, Matteo and Martina. Martina helps me run the B&B and, with her degree in cultural heritage and art history, she is a great source of information about our city's artistic attractions.

In 2014, we decided to convert part of the building into a Bed & Breakfast to satisfy our desire to meet new people from different parts of Italy and the world, especially with the approaching EXPO 2015.

For over 20 years, I have been involved in waste management, environmental sustainability, and environmental education, first as an employee and then as a freelancer.

Therefore, I wanted to create a welcoming structure that would reflect my experience in the renovation of the rooms and in the daily management. I have also made an effort to use sustainable materials and products, without compromising comfort and practicality.

Breakfast is made up of packaged sweet products only. I had asked for salty things but nothing. I had said that eventually I would have taken them myself but Monica didn't bother to tell me she would take care of it.

Questa è composta così come indicato nella nostra descrizione, è sempre disponibile e propone i prodotti generalmente più utilizzati per colazioni e spuntini. Siamo forniti di opzioni anche per celiaci e intolleranti al lattosio, ma (per una scelta etica) abbiamo deciso di evitare tutto ciò che possa portare a uno spreco alimentare; per questo motivo, salvo una espressa richiesta al momento della prenotazione, non sono normalmente presenti buste di prosciutto o formaggio, che hanno una scadenza piuttosto breve e, una volta aperte, rischiano di andare sprecate (difficilmente una persona, da sola, riesce a finire una intera confezione di prosciutto e una intera confezione di formaggio). Purtroppo, non avendo avuto preavviso in questo caso, non sono riuscita a fare una spesa appositamente per l'occasione. Spero di averla ancora nostra ospite. Saluti Monica.

We stayed for one night in Milan at this B&B to go to San Siro. We found it very convenient for the proximity to the stadium and for the bus and metro connections nearby. Good breakfast, Monica was very kind to enrich it with gluten-free and lactose-free foods. Recommended.

Excellent B&B, located very close to the Gambara metro station, is extremely clean and allows a pleasant stay in the city of Milan. The B&B host is kind and ready to meet the guests' needs. Breakfast, offered in the dedicated room of the house, is rich in excellent products and guests have the opportunity to use the small appliances provided (toaster, coffee maker, kettle, fridge). I thank Monica for the hospitality and hope to return soon to her B&B.

I spent one night in this lovely bed and breakfast and I can only recommend it to everyone! Mrs. Monica showed a unique availability and kindness, ready to answer my questions and explain everything in detail. The room, as well as the common area for breakfast, were super clean and tidy. I found the beds comfortable. The room and bathroom have everything you need and are well maintained. My room also had a very nice little balcony. Breakfast caters to all tastes, with a selection of cereals, yogurt, coffee, herbal teas, etc. The price is excellent, below average. The location is convenient to reach the center as there is a metro station 5 minutes away on foot. Thanks again to the owner for making me feel at home!

I'm sorry to read your comment, but on the website it is specified that there is no use of the kitchen, only a breakfast room and therefore differentiated breakfast waste bags. We clean the dishes ourselves, so no soap is needed. Monica

Cozy place, very clean, tidy and located in a very quiet neighborhood. The bed was very comfortable and spacious. The house is located on the outskirts of Milan, but the metro is 2 minutes away with a direct line to the center. The hostess is lovely and adapts to the arrival time.

I was very satisfied with this well-kept and welcoming Bed and Breakfast, the owner is kind and helpful (we were able to leave our luggage all afternoon after check-out, the rooms are spacious and well-equipped, with private bathroom and balcony. It is located in a residential area, with a supermarket downstairs, the area is not busy and close to the metro, bus, and San Siro. Definitely recommended.

Decent structure with some limitations: lack of elevator, modest breakfast. The welcome was very kind but I don't understand why my room wasn't cleaned (oversight?). The price seems a bit high to me (I paid 100 euros per night in a nearby 5-star hotel where the price was 150). Excellent location near the metro. To be reassessed in a period of lower attendance.

La ringrazio per la recensione, mi dispiace non abbia gradito l'ampia scelta di prodotti per la colazione, purtroppo confezionati, ma la normativa lombarda e il covid non ci consentono altro. L'ascensore purtroppo in una palazzina di due piani degli anni '50 é difficile da trovare, ma sul sito è specificato. Per quanto riguarda il rifacimento della camera, la biancheria non viene cambiata ogni giorno, ormai neanche negli hotel a 5 stelle, e la mattina del 31/12 quando ero presente in struttura la camera non era libera. Il prezzo applicato è quello confermato in fase di prenotazione. Ringraziandola per il feedback, cordiali saluti Monica

Buongiorno signora, la ringrazio per la sua recensione volevo solo precisarle che come indicato nelle informazioni sulla nostra struttura, il prezzo per una camera matrimoniale è soggetto a variazioni in una fascia che va da 90,00 a 180,00 € in base alla situazione della domanda e dell'offerta degli alloggi nella città di Milano nei giorni prenotati, dovuta agli eventi in programma (come partite, concerti, salone del mobile, fashion week ecc...) similmente a quanto avviene in tutte le strutture alberghiere in base alla stagione bassa, media o alta. Le nostre camere sono inoltre tutte dotate di un bagno en suite e un balcone, con la sala per la colazione come unico ambiente in comune. Saluti Monica

A very nice place just a few meters from Gambara metro stop, consisting of a few rooms kept clean and tidy by the landlady, kind and friendly. We were pleasantly impressed, we will definitely come back.

Clean, affordable and close to the station. Monica was so sweet and lovely, there was a slight language barrier but thanks to Google translate we made it work. Cute breakfast area with cereal, pastries, yoghurt, tea and coffee. Had pretty much everything we needed/expected for the price. We would definitely come back purely for the hospitality. Monica was helpful and patient, upon arrival she welcomed us with her cat and it was a pleasant surprise. The structure is very comfortable and equipped with everything you need, close to the metro and just over two kilometers on foot from San Siro stadium. Nearby there is a supermarket and several bars and restaurants. The attention to the environment is greatly appreciated, where more ecological solutions are preferred to the classic single use.

Well-maintained structure, very peripheral location, luckily the metro stop is 200 meters away. The bathroom did not have a bidet (and for a woman it would be a big problem). The beds are comfortable but it would be better to have two pillows of different types. One terrible thing: woolen blankets! A breeding ground for mites, dust, bacteria, and whatever else. Truly anachronistic and unhygienic. In essence: good but could be improved.

Ci spiace che non abbia gradito la nostra posizione, che permette di raggiungere il centro in pochi minuti, pur garantendo il silenzio e la tranquillità di un quartiere residenziale poco trafficato. L'assenza del bidet è dovuta al fatto che le è stata destinata l'unica stanza che ne è sprovvista, mentre le altre sono state assegnate proprio a delle signore. In ogni caso il bagno in camera è un punto di forza che non tutti i b&b hanno. Ci spiace non abbia apprezzato le nostre coperte, regolarmente lavate e igienizzate. Purtroppo acari e polvere si possono annidare anche in trapunte, cuscini e materassi. Grazie ancora. Saluti, Monica

We stayed only one night at this bed and breakfast. We had a very good experience. We had a problem upon arrival and the lady helped us with advice and support. Rooms on the third floor (no elevator), very clean and bright with a nice large bathroom and very comfortable beds. Self-service breakfast included at any time, with coffee machine, kettle, yogurt, jams, packaged croissants... there is everything, just help yourself. Very quiet area about 500 meters from the subway. Only the last part is poorly lit but it's a relatively short and (seems) quiet stretch. I recommend it for the owner's availability and the good value for money. It is obviously outside the center, but you can easily reach it by subway.

Purtroppo la via é privata e il comune nonostante anni di richieste non ha ancora provveduto ad illuminarla, abbiamo cercato di pensarci al meglio noi residenti. Queste case, costruite negli anni '50, non hanno ascensore e purtroppo non è possibile installarla, ci tocca fare i due piani a piedi. Monica.

Great location about 30 minutes from Santa Maria delle Grazie and the center of Milan in a very quiet neighborhood and close to two supermarkets. Monica was very kind and we were able to arrange for check-in (really fast). I was able to leave the suitcase and return in complete autonomy in the evening. The room, accessible by a spiral staircase (indeed a bit steep), is spacious, bright, and very roomy; the bathroom perfectly functional. The structure is very clean. Breakfast is self-service and abundant, everyone can choose what to consume and when. Under the breakfast table, there are containers for recycling. To go back.

I spent New Year's days with my family booking 2 out of 3 available rooms. We had a great time, excellent cleanliness and comfort of the rooms, well heated but still with additional air conditioning. The location is fabulous, 100 meters away there is the metro that takes you to the center without changing, surrounded by supermarkets and places to eat, the area is very quiet. Camera pulita e spaziosa. La saletta per la colazione offre l’opportunità di potersi coccolare anche la sera con un the o una tisana. Colazione ricca e abbondante. We had a lovely stay at Monica's property in Milan in September 2019. Monica was very friendly and accommodating, allowing us to check in late on our first night. The bedroom and bathroom were both spotlessly clean with fresh towels and bedding provided during our visit. Gambara metro station is about two minutes walk away and there is a large Carrefour less than ten minutes away which was really useful. Breakfast is ample, with different pastries, spreads and fruit juice. The coffee was also very tasty and the selection of tea was suitable even for British people like ourselves. The neighbourhood felt quiet and residential, with a few restaurants dotted about nearby. I would highly recommend staying here if you get the chance! Thank you Monica!

C'est déjà avec nostalgie que je repense au magnifique séjour passé en famille All'Angolo Giusto! Le charme des chambres (avec terrasse!), la propreté, la rue calme, la proximité du métro et des commerces, et également la gentillesse de Monica, sont autant de facteurs qui rendront votre séjour milanais confortable et reposant! Ho avuto il piacere di soggiornare in questa struttura che si trova in un'ottima posizione (quartiere tranquillo e metro vicina). La stanza era molto ben illuminata e, soprattutto, pulita. La colazione, seppure non ricchissima a causa della normativa sui monodose, non mostrava carenze anzi, laddove possibile (prevalentemente con le bevande) la scelta è stata molto ampia. Accoglienza ottima. Attenzione al cliente alta ma, ciò che mi ha stupito di più, attenzione all'ambiente insolita (almeno per mia esperienza) in una struttura cittadina. Unico neo, indipendente dai gestori: l'ultima sera sono passata a salutare la signora Monica e il marito, ma senza successo (non ho insistito perché non si trattava di un problema e non volevo disturbare) ed è stato un peccato perché sono due persona deliziose, molto accoglienti e gentili. Vorrà dire che ci rifaremo la prossima volta. Un caro saluto e grazie di tutto, Valeria.

Colazione non all'altezza, poca scelta e soprattutto quantità esigue; eravamo in 3-4 persone a soggiornare ed a colazione abbiamo dovuto lottare per una brioche. La struttura è nuova e pulita, ma la colazione è davvero deficitaria. Inoltre è molto difficile trovare parcheggio, ho dovuto girare per 20 minuti prima di trovarne uno.

Purtroppo per quanto riguarda le brioche dipende anche dalla discrezione degli altri ospiti presenti. La colazione cerco sempre di far sì che sia piuttosto variegata, per incontrare i gusti di tutti: ci sono brioche, plumcake, fette biscottate, cereali di 3 tipi diversi, caffè vari, yogurt, latte. Il parcheggio normalmente si trova senza problemi, mi spiace se ha trovato difficoltà, nella via parallela c'è comunque un parcheggio a pagamento con una tariffa giornaliera molto buona. We were welcomed by very kind and grateful hosts Monica and her husband. Room was clean to the highest standard. There were all necessary equipment in the room to make our stay comfortable. Breakfast was prepacked but tasty. You could even use some of it as a snack later during the day. As we were not aware that in Italy there is a different kind of electrical sockets than in rest of the Europe, we came unprepared, however hosts provided us with the plug converter and made sure we have got everything else. Very pleased with our stay in All'Angolo Giusto. If we were to go to visit Milan again we would stay in the same place.

Abbiamo soggiornato nella struttura in occasione di un concerto in zona Expo e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Lo consiglio a tutti quelli che come noi piace andare ai concerti in zona San Siro e Expo. Abbiamo lasciato l'auto nei parcheggi di fronte alla struttura e ci siamo spostati con i mezzi pubblici. la vicinanza con la metropolitana consente di spostarsi liberamente per la città. La struttura è veramente accogliente. La camera era fornita di tutto l'occorrente e anche di un terrazzino comodo per rilassarsi. La colazione è veramente abbondante e fornita di bevande e alimenti per tutti i gusti. la proprietaria è stata gentilissima e super disponibile. Grazie mille! Sicuramente da ritornarci.

Gestore: la signora Monica gentilissima e molto disponibile camera grande luminosa, massima pulizia, stanza da bagno attrezzata perfettamente, anche phon a parete cabina doccia ampia e nuovissima climatizzazione ottima unico neo, ma è un rilievo molto personale. è la assenza della tv satellitare che per un ospite singolo amante dello sport è un plus. Certo è un B&B, ma, ad esempio, aumentare anche di soli 5 euro la tariffa giornaliera sarebbe apprezzato Colazione ricca e abbondante anche rispetto a strutture alberghiere nominalmente superiori. In conclusione, da provare e ritornare.
