Nestled in Magnone, a typical Ligurian village in the commune of Vezzi Portio, Pietre Antiche (Ancient Stones) is a bed and breakfast lying 130m above sea level. Its location is particularly convenient, being 10 to 15 minutes trough inland scenic roads far from Spotorno, Noli, Varigotti, and Finale. With their evocative landscapes and wonderful beaches (i. e. Bergeggi, Baia dei Saraceni), they are among the most marvellous resorts in Liguria.
It takes only 8 minutes by car from the tollgate in Spotorno to reach the Pietre Antiche B&B. Surrounded by the thick woods peculiar to Ligurian landscape and the few houses grown around the old medieval centre, Pietre Antiche provides its guests with a relaxed and cosy atmosphere, perfect for those who wants to relax after a day spent lying on the beach or wandering about the narrow alleys of the sea villages nearby.
Pietre Antiche consists of only two double rooms. One of which is provided with an adjoining loo with bath. Both, in case of families with a child, could accommodate a cot at no extra charge.
To all Pietre Antiche guests, private car park and wi-fi access – suitable either for phones or computers – are offered free of charge. Breakfast, made up of local products, is served on the terrace, which is a perfect raised standpoint where to enjoy the view over the green woods and the blue sea
Pietre Antiche is the perfect location for those who wish to stay near the main beaten tracks of this part of the Riviera, without giving up the restful and relaxing atmosphere typical of the Ligurian hinterland, also because of its climate, milder than near the coastline.
Furthermore Pietre Antiche is a convenient starting point for the rock-climber and hiker as it is only a few minutes by car from the mountain-bike tracks in the “Le Manie” area and from the legendary Orco Feglino climbing routes (i. e. Ciappo delle Conche).
