Description
The structure is located in a pedestrian area, 200 meters from the aquarium and 100 meters from Via Garibaldi. It is an ideal position to comfortably visit the main attractions of the city on foot.
Breakfast is not included. A minimum stay of 2 nights is required. A tourist tax of 3. 00 euros per day per person over 14 years old is applicable.
Check-in times are as follows: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 17: 00, Friday from 14: 30, Saturday and Sunday from 10: 00 (please communicate the approximate arrival time the day before).
We offer our guests a complimentary late check-out throughout the year (room and bathroom available until 18: 00 on the day of departure). If needed, there is a luggage storage facility 80 meters from the B&B (costs 5 euros per suitcase). The address is Via Lomellini (open from Wednesday to Monday from 9: 30 to 18: 30).
Our Bed and Breakfast is located on the fourth floor of an ancient building with an elevator. The bright and sunny double room has two French windows that offer a view of the Basilica of San Siro, which was once the cathedral of Genoa. A third bed can be added. The guest bathroom is located outside the room (a short corridor must be crossed). The bathroom is equipped with a shower cubicle, bidet (with wall-mounted shower), bath linens, hairdryer, hair straightener, and personal hygiene products.
Inside the room (24 sqm), you will find free WiFi internet connection and a mini fridge with complimentary drinks at your disposal. To ensure maximum freedom during your stay, we provide guests with a key to the apartment, allowing them to enter and exit the B&B at their convenience.
For your safety, the room will be thoroughly sanitized, and during your stay, no one else except the guests will have access to it, in accordance with the recommendations of national health authorities.
Regarding arrival by car, the Bed and Breakfast Le Mille e una Genova is located in a pedestrian zone monitored by cameras, so access is only allowed for residents. We have an agreement with the Lampo garage (Piazza Bandiera tel 0102512400) with a daily cost of 20 euros for covered parking. The garage is 200 meters from the B&B and is open every day from 7: 00 to 18: 00 (Friday and Saturday until 19: 00). It is advisable to book in advance as spaces are limited (we can make the reservation for you if desired).
Please note that during your stay, you will not need to use your car as you will be in a central location to comfortably reach the main tourist attractions on foot.
As for arrival from Genoa Cristoforo Colombo International Airport, you can take a taxi (approximately 20 minutes) or the Volabus (public transport AMT) with a travel time of about 30 minutes. In the latter case, get off at Genova Principe train station and follow the directions for the walking route.
As for arrival from Genova Porta Principe train station, the walking route takes about 10 minutes: take Via Balbi, when you reach Piazza della Nunziata after about 100 meters, turn right onto Via Cairoli near the traffic light, and then, after about 80 meters, turn right onto Via San Siro. You will find us at number 12, in the same building as Trattoria dai Ricci and the Bozzi bookstore.

"The thousand and one Genoa" is not just a simple Bed and Breakfast: it is much more, so much so that a rating of 10 is not enough to give the right value to what Raffaella has created. A house of friends that opens its doors to tourists, which is diligent from the booking stage to provide information and services that 4-star hotels often do not bother to provide; a super functional room equipped with all the comforts (including complimentary drinks in the minibar and various gifts); a fabulous location just steps away (two) from the Old Port; an incredibly advantageous quality/price ratio that includes late check-out on Sundays.
In short, Raffaella has created a very precious gem that reflects her great heart and her attention and care for the tourist.
I would go back and recommend it without any doubt! Word of a former hotelier.

B&B located a short walk from the historic center and near Piazza Principe station. In a few minutes on foot you can reach the main Genoese tourist attractions. The old port, the aquarium, the sea museum, the Rolli, as well as the departure point of the funicular and elevators to reach the upper part of Genoa. Very clean room, welcoming, very kind and discreet owners. Bath linen with daily change (a service rarely encountered in starred hotels). We had a great time and will definitely consider it for any future stay in Genoa.

B&B in a very convenient position to reach all the main attractions of the city comfortably on foot. There are many bars and restaurants in the area for every taste. We had a great time and the hosts were really kind and welcoming, even before arriving it was very easy to communicate to agree on the arrival, information, etc. The room is clean, spacious, and comfortable... and with a very useful small fridge (for example, we also used it to store our baby's purees) and provided with water and more. The B&B is in a strategic position, convenient even for those arriving in Genoa by car as it is very close to a garage (for a fee), and just a stone's throw away there is a delicious typical cuisine restaurant. Surely when we return to Genoa, I will try to book here again.

I review with great pleasure this facility because it deserves to be recommended. The location is in the heart of the historic center, a stone's throw from the beautiful Via Garibaldi. My compliments, however, go in particular to the 'hostess' who provided us with the utmost assistance even before our arrival, booking the garage for our car and giving us every possible indication to facilitate our arrival. The room is large and spacious, the cleanliness is excellent. There is a minibar in the room with every type of drink, all kindly offered by the facility. Furthermore, on our departure, she made us find three small water bottles for the return journey (since we were three) and a pack of cookies. An undeserved kindness that describes well the level of hospitality of the facility. Finally, a note of merit goes to the price, absolutely below what we expected considering the extremely central location. Many more compliments, thank you for everything!

Bellissima struttura in pieno centro storico a dieci minuti di strada dall’Acquario. Proprietari gentilissimi è disponibilissimi. Ogni giorno rifanno la stanza ed il mini bar dalla quale è possibile prender il necessario. Favoloso.

Il pernottamento è stato piacevole e rilassante, la struttura è compresa di tutto. Il gestore ci ha accolte molto bene ed è stato super disponibile. Ci è piaciuta la posizione della struttura perché vicina al porto antico avendo usato sempre i battelli per spostarci sulla costa. La struttura permette assoluta privacy e indipendenza ed è spaziosa. È stata anche molto piacevole la colazione (compresa) al bar a due passi dalla struttura, con dehor in una stradina carina davanti al nostro negozietto preferito. Da non perdere l’ascensore per accedere alle terrazze panoramiche vicino alla struttura, bellissimo.

Posto centralissimo, vicino al Porto e vicino all'Acquario e al Museo del Mare.
Raggiungibile a piedi dalla stazione Porta Principe. La signora è gentilissima e molto disponibile.
Eravamo con un bambino che ha gradito tutte le leccornie che la signora gli aveva messo a disposizione, grazie!

La struttura è ottima, spaziosa, pulita e molto vicina al Porto Antico; è in una posizione strategica per girare a piacere Genova.
I gestori sono molto gentili ed accoglienti, ci siamo trovati veramente bene. Se avessimo occasione di tornare a Genova, andremmo senza indugio in questo Bed and Breakfast. Ci siamo trovati veramente bene.
Unica pecca, la colazione viene offerta in un bar antico e bello di Genova, molto vicino al Bed; il mangiare è buono, ma è il personale addetto è poco accogliente.

Posizione centralissima a due passi da tutti i luoghi di interesse. I due gestori, Raffaella e Fabrizio, ci hanno accolto nella loro bella casa con grande cordialità, fornendoci tutte le informazioni per il nostro soggiorno. Bellissima camera molto ampia e confortevole, con tante piccole attenzioni per rendere più piacevole la permanenza. Tutto corrisponde a quanto descritto nella presentazione.

Raffaella è gentile e accogliente, l'atmosfera è veramente piacevole e ci si sente da subito a proprio agio.

La posizione di questo B&B è ottimale per camminare comodamente a piedi nel centro di Genova, in quanto si trova vicino a tutti i principali luoghi di interesse (acquario, musei, palazzo ducale e cattedrale).
