Description
Via Ottaviano is 5 blocks long in the historical center of Rome, known as old Rome. From the Piazza d'Clock and continuing to Piazza Pasquino these five blocks offer shops, restaurants, architecture and history of Rome to entertain the traveler Rome. Striking out west from Piazza Pasquino, Via Ottaviano is a bustling, atmospheric street lined with boutiques, restaurants and vintage clothing stores. The road was once part of the street from the papal palace at St. John Lateran to the Basilica of St. Peter, has acquired its name in 1755, when the government moved from the Papal Palace at No. Nardini 39 in the Senate on the other side of Piazza Navona. Bramante is thought to have lived at No. 123.

Located on the 4th floor, the apartment we have renovated with only organic products and wood, consists of a living room with a dining table. The kitchen is new and fully equipped with fridge, gas stove, microwave microonde. Uno of the few apartments in Rome that has three bedrooms with three bathrooms.
All three rooms consist of a double bed, plasma TV, hair dryer, private bathroom.
The rooms are fully equipped with sheets, blankets, pillows, towels and soaps.

Folia is a wonderful tourist room apartment just a few steps from the Vatican City. Its minimalist and environmentally friendly decoration and the attention of its owner, Chiara, are exceptional! They even provide you with a PDF with very interesting information about the gastronomic offer in the area. I would definitely stay with them again, I loved the feeling of living with Roman locals in a beautiful and well-maintained building! Even the retro elevator is cool! Congratulations, couple!

Folia in Rome is a true gem! Just 10 minutes walk from Vatican City and near the metro, its location is superb, making exploring Rome easy and convenient. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, creating a warm, friendly environment.\n\nEvery part of Folia was spotless and beautifully decorated, making it a pleasure to return to after a day of sightseeing. A special touch was the focus on eco-friendly items, showing a thoughtful consideration for the environment.\n\nFor me, staying at Folia was like enjoying the luxury of a 4-star hotel. I can't recommend it enough and will definitely return whenever I visit Rome again!

Chiara is a very kind and warm person. We felt very comfortable right away. Her open and accommodating manner really impressed us. The rooms are very rustic and the atmosphere is top-notch. We have spent a great time at Folia. Chiara has welcomed us well and the room had a lot of charm. The only thing during our stay was our neighbors who arrived late at night and made a lot of noise. We highly recommend staying at Folia for your trip to Rome.

Well-maintained structure down to the smallest details and steps away from Piazza Risorgimento, an excellent area to visit Rome, full of shops and services. Large and comfortable rooms meticulously cared for. Very kind landlady who made sure we lacked nothing. Location detailed in the details, all very clean and perfect area to explore Rome even on foot. St. Peter's Square and the Vatican Museums are just a 5-minute walk away, with a 20-minute walk you can reach Trastevere or even Piazza Navona. If you don't feel like walking, the A metro is just around the corner and is very convenient for reaching Termini station or San Giovanni. Highly recommended.

Located in a very convenient area for the presence of the metro and all bus lines to reach any area of Rome. Chiara is extremely available for any need or suggestion regarding restaurants, sightseeing tips, etc. Breakfast is served in the room due to COVID, but it's really rich. Excellent cleanliness, perfect air conditioning, top Wi-Fi. If I go back to Rome, that will be my definite base.

The stay was very pleasant, the structure is located in an elegant ancient building on the central Via Ottaviano, the apartment is renovated according to ecological criteria, the environments are healthy and very clean, the room comfortable. Strategic position to reach the Vatican and the historic center, by foot or with the Metro a stone's throw away. The place is well designed and looks exactly like the photos. It is in a very old building dating back to 1889, but the apartment is renovated and air-conditioned, which is great and also well organized. There is a lift in the building. I met Chiara, the host, who is very friendly and helpful. She always asks if you need anything. She comes every day to check that everything is okay. She also speaks English very well. In the kitchen, you can find a coffee maker, oven, cutlery, and fridge. The room is medium-sized, with a TV and a table with two chairs, a unique wardrobe, but the bathroom is very tight. The location is great in via Ottaviano itself, which means you are near a few steps from the Vatican and also a few steps from metro line A.

Perfect welcome; the kindness and availability of the owners Chiara and Federico is incredible. Excellent breakfast and comfortable, clean, and sanitized room. The cherry on top is the B&B "FOLIA" is located 3 minutes from St. Peter's Square and the Vatican Museums as well as via Cola di Rienzo, excellent for shopping and close to the Metro stop "OTTAVIANO". Conclusion: I will return as soon as possible.

Graziosissimo bed&breakfast letteralmente a due passi dai musei vaticani. Camere ristrutturate con gusto ispirate alla natura tra legno, pavimenti in cotto e soffitti a mattonicini, non a caso si chiama Folia. L'accoglienza e la disponibilità di Chiara sono state fantastiche venendoci incontro in tutto per un check in fuori orario. Ottima esperienza, bellissimo weekend, torneremo sicuramente!

Viaggio molto e non sono solito lasciare commenti ma questi ragazzi se lo meritano di cuore! Nonostante fossimo arrivati più tardi di quanto previsto siamo subito stati accolti col sorriso da Federico e Chiara.
Ci hanno illustrato la città fornendoci una utilissima mappa, ci hanno fornito un validissimo elenco di ristoranti da loro suggeriti...praticamente ci siamo sentiti coccolati dal primo momento e per tutta la vacanza.
La nostra camera era spaziosa, accogliente e soprattutto molto originale e di design.
La pulizia giornaliera (e aggiungerei impeccabile) ci ha fato sentire ancora più protetti. La zona è super centrale nonché servitissima dai trasporti pubblici. Ragazzi, avete fatto un ottimo lavoro! Grazie ancora per tutto, sicuramente ci rivedremo prestissimo!

Le B&B Folia est top. Nous y avons passé 2 super nuits. Federico nous a chaleureusement accueilli, en nous partageant ses bonnes adresses pour profiter de Rome. Le logement était propre, les draps serviettes sont fournies. Petit bémol, le petit déjeuner n'est pas frais, pour moi qui aime les traditionnels "dolce" il est néanmoins complet. Je recommande!

La camera "blu" è una vera chicca.
Essenzialmente arredata, pulita, con il soffitto a vista che le dà un tocco in più.
Il potersi gestire le chiavi e il buffet, della colazione, in qualsiasi momento della giornata per me è stato un valore aggiunto.
La posizione è strategica sia per la vicinanza al Vaticano che per la possibilità di raggiungere altre punti turistici della città in metro, bus, a piedi.
Ringrazio i gestori, Federico e Chiara, per l'ospitalità e disponibilità.

Von Anfang an haben wir uns hier wohlgefühlt. Ein sehr netter Betreiber, der sich Zeit nimmt, um einem Tipps für die Stadt und Ausflüge gibt. Die Lage ist optimal: Nur 5 min. Fußweg zum Vatikan. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön, stilvoll und modern eingerichtet, so dass man sich wirklich wohlfühlen kann. Wer das Gefühl sucht, wie es ist mitten in Rom zu leben, ist hier genau richtig.
