"Il Vecchio Treno" is familiar, informal, and welcoming. It is located in the center of Tivoli, behind the train station, at the foot of the Monte Catillo Reserve, 5 minutes from Villa Gregoriana and the historic center.
There are rooms on the third floor and apartments on the ground floor. The accommodations offer services suitable to meet various needs. They are spacious, airy, bright, with TV, air conditioning, heating, private facilities, soundproof windows, and independent entrance.
INCLUDED SERVICES
air conditioning, free wifi, free re-entry, tourist map, overnight motorcycle and bicycle shelter, bicycle workshop, pets are welcome. We have arranged a breakfast kit to freely enjoy a good coffee, tea, barley, ginseng, and various snacks. Cleaning every 3 days, additional cleaning upon request.
We offer the Tivoli card for a 10% discount at all restaurants, pizzerias, bakeries, ice cream shops, bars, and shops affiliated with the circuit.

We do not have private parking, but adjacent to the structure (about 50 meters) is the train station parking lot.
It is one of the few free parking lots in the center of Tivoli, wooded, and very quiet, as the area is constantly busy with commuters, tourists, and students.
The guarded parking is 200 meters away (€1 every 2 hours).
We offer free garage for motorcycles and bicycles.

Great for visiting Tivoli, Villa d'Este, and Villa Gregoriana. The latter, which is the one we wanted to visit, is about 300 meters away. The entire center is within walking distance. Moreover, the owner collaborates with Villa Gregoriana, so we couldn't ask for more precise directions and a more suitable location. We were not aware of this collaboration. The value for money is excellent. The building looks a bit ugly externally but is well renovated inside. The trains cannot be heard.

The welcome from Mrs. Giovanna makes you feel immediately at ease. She recommended both the most interesting places to visit and a great typical restaurant! The studio apartment is equipped with everything you need, including a washing machine, microwave, oven, and refrigerator. Although there is no parking on site, you can park in the very close station parking, which is free. The location is very good, a 5/10 minute walk to the center, and the train station is nearby so you can reach Rome by train without using a car.

Convenient location close to the historic center, a bit noisy not because of the trains but due to a quite busy road. Window with new fixtures to contain the noise but rather warm inside and air conditioner not very cooling. New studio, overall good. Kind and helpful owners. A poche centinaia di metri dalla stazione di Tivoli, gestore gentile, ottima colazione, pulizie esemplari e camera con bagno ampia e con angolo cottura. Per chi ama la bici è perfetta poiché oltre allo spazio per le bici è presente una vera e propria officina provvista di cavalletti bici e di ogni sorta di chiavi, tornarci sicuramente.

La super accoglienza di Alessandro e l'ospitalità, ci sembrava quasi di essere suoi parenti. Il proprietario ama ciò che fa e sa prendersi cura dei propri clienti, li consiglia e li indirizza per rendere il soggiorno una vera esperienza di viaggio. Abbiamo goduto di tutti i confort, parcheggio a 100 metri gratis. Il luogo è vicino alla stazione, sufficientemente facile il raggiungimento in macchina, A piedi si raggiunge facilmente il centro 6/8 minuti passando dalla parte più bella di Tivoli Le camere sono restaurate e dotate di tutti i comfort: letti comodissimi, la colazione piena piena di tutto (un mare di roba); ciambelloni e marmellata fatta in casa, frutta all'italiana. È un vero piacere per la qualità dei prodotti e per l'atmosfera in cui si svolge, musica di sottofondo, cura dei particolari dove si fa colazione, è il top. Lo consiglio al 1000x1000.

Ho letto recensioni negative sul fatto che c'erano le scale. Davvero non sono così tante come per lamentarsi! L'esercizio è buono. Il tratto d'Alessandro è stato da 10, la camera semplice e ben arredata. Segnalare che la struttura sta vicino alla stazione dei treni, ma da questo non si può fare nulla, e non c'è un grande rumore comunque. Addirittura, s'arriva facile al B&B. Ci ritornerò.

La camera pulitissima e vicina al Parco di Villa Gregoriana e Villa d'Este, le mete del nostro viaggio, che abbiamo potuto raggiungere tranquillamente a piedi. Ciao! Ho soggiornato in questo ottimo B&B per appena (e purtroppo) una notte, per un viaggio di passaggio.
La struttura è perfettamente gestita con gentilezza, disponibilità e piacevole cordialità, l'ambiente a me riservato si è rivelato un vero e proprio piccolo bijou, tutte le comodità a portata di mano con l'aggiunta dell'indipendenza e brevissima distanza dal centro storico e soprattutto dalla stazione, per chi, come me, viaggia su rotaia.
Davvero consigliatissimo.
Mando un caro saluto ad Alessandro che mi ha assistito, e a Giovanna, che non ho conosciuto direttamente, ma i complimenti per la sua squisita torta di cioccolato sono doverosi.

I due proprietari sono persone veramente squisite; sono simpatici, premurosi, gentili e sempre pronti ad aiutarti a risolvere ogni tuo problema o ad illustrarti le cose da vedere a Tivoli (che sono parecchie). La prima colazione è favolosa, la struttura è arredata con molto buon gusto e la rete wifi funziona perfettamente. Francamente raccomando Il vecchio treno a tutti coloro che si vogliono recare a Tivoli.

Io e il mio fidanzato ci siamo fermati 3 notti, abbiamo alloggiato nell'appartamento. Alessandro è stato gentilissimo, ci ha dato tutte le indicazioni utili per la nostra vacanza, ci ha consigliato dove andare a mangiare e ci ha anche prenotato una cena per il mio compleanno. Appartamento pulito e ben arredato, buona la colazione: l'unica pecca è il rumore veramente fastidioso della strada che si sente anche con le finestre chiuse.
A parte questo, lo consigliamo a tutti!

Il gestore della Struttura è gentilissimo, accogliente e socievole, ti fa sentire come fossi a casa tua e non in un bad and breakfast. A partire dalla camera ben arredata, ai servizi che propone, fino alla colazione (prelibatezze culinarie e atmosfera rilassante hanno inebriato ogni mattino) tutto è risultato perfetto.

La struttura merita il massino dei voti perché è gestita da personale competente. La colazione la mattina abbondante con dolci fatti in casa, le camere pulitissime con il massimo dei confort e gli asciugamani soffici lavati con dell'ottimo detersivo. Posizione vicino alla stazione e quindi ideale per visitare Tivoli e dintorni. Ci ritornerò.
