Hotel Citara

Beautiful structure, a very relaxing weekend.

I had an awesome experience here in August-September, the cleaning staff and other staff were very courteous, beautiful swimming pool and scenery. The only problem I had was with a waiter during breakfast. He was the youngest among all the breakfast staff and while I was at the table with company he asked me, very impolitely, what happened to my arm referring to my very evident self-harm scars. That was extremely rude and embarrassing and ruined my stay, especially since I was with other people. The waiter was older than me, so of course he should know how to be respectful and non-invasive, especially in such a delicate situation.

Well-equipped facility located in a great position just a stone's throw from the sea and the Poseidon Gardens. Equipped with rooms with sea view, air conditioning, and both indoor and outdoor pool. Kind and helpful staff. I recommend it.

We are a couple of young people who stayed at this facility with half board. The hotel enjoys an excellent position to reach Citara beach (200 m) and Cava dell'isola (500 m). There is both a free and private beach. The bus stop is practically outside the hotel gate, I would say an excellent service to reach the most famous locations on the island (we always moved by bus with a weekly subscription and we found ourselves very well, appreciating an unexpected punctuality). The rooms are comfortable, the cleanliness is excellent and the towels are changed every day. The cleaning staff are super kind and ready to meet our needs. On all balconies there are also clotheslines with clothespins for laundry. The half board was a real surprise. All the dishes were exceptional, not even a mediocre course, all very tasty. The portions are very very generous. There was the possibility to choose between various options, never the same from day to day, the fish always fresh and of quality. The staff are very courteous and friendly. We really appreciated the courtesy and generosity of Salvatore, the friendliness of Giorgio, the cheerfulness of Mario and the availability of another boy whose name we do not remember. For me, lactose intolerant, every morning they brought snacks, biscuits and croissants packaged without lactose and lactose-free cappuccino. The breakfast is excellent and varied, both sweet and savory. The reception is available 24 hours a day, the staff always very very kind. The terrace is a real pearl of relaxation to enjoy a breathtaking view. It has a whirlpool with a spectacular sea view. There is also a bar service on the terrace from 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm. Here on the terrace they organized a big surprise on the occasion of Ferragosto. They offered us an evening with live music and a special dinner with surprise cake. The terrace offered us a unique, romantic and elegant atmosphere because it is carefully detailed with a play of lights and colors. Obviously, the food left us, like every evening, speechless. Everything not only abundant but of quality. Moreover, the structure offers a relaxation pool inside with reservation, where you can spend 30 minutes in complete privacy. We will definitely recommend it and return with great pleasure.

Splendido Hotel per la posizione, vicino alla spiaggia di citara, il panorama, cibo, pulizia e grande disponibilità del personale, in particolare il sig. Giorgio e l'autista della navetta Vincenzo oltre naturalmente al Francesco! Complimenti per la bella settimana che abbiamo trascorso!

Vacanza bellissima Ischia offre tanto: mare, terme, passeggiate, giardini e panorami mozzafiato. Prima volta al Citara scelta perfetta. Hotel semplice e tranquillo con un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, pulito e con personale cortese e sempre disponibile. Attraversando la strada si è in una delle spiagge più belle dell'isola, la fermata del bus appena fuori dall'albergo, a piedi si può arrivare al Poseidon, panorama bellissimo specie dalla terrazza con piscina. Cosa chiedere di più, quando ritorneremo a Ischia senz'altro ancora hotel Citara. Un ringraziamento particolare a Giorgio e Mario che ci hanno servito con tanta simpatia e a Francesco per le sue preziose informazioni su itinerari e varie.

Siamo stati per la prima volta all'hotel Citara e sicuramente ci ritorneremo. Tutto era perfetto, la colazione abbondante come la cena e la pulizia della camera impeccabile. Belle le piscine in particolare quella panoramica dove la sera si può assistere ad un favoloso tramonto. Posizione strategica sia per le terme di Poseidon che per il centro di Forio raggiungibili a piedi benissimo in pochi minuti.

Bellissima la vista dal balcone della camera sulla baia di Citara, come pure dalla piscina all'aperto, proprietari molto disponibili. Vicinissimo ai giardini Poseidon e spiaggia.
