Hello! You’ve arrived at the right place to visit Florence. Just a 5-minute walk from Florence Santa Maria Novella station, here is the house for you and it is right in the historic center. If you arrive by plane, from Vespucci Airport take (right at the square) the T2 shuttle, departing every 5 minutes, costing 1. 70 euros per person: get off at the 'stazione-via Alamanni' stop, then another 5-minute walk and you’re home. By car? Park near the house, as you won’t need it anymore: the historic center is explored only on foot and everything is close.
Tre Gigli feels just like being at home. There are only 2 rooms, each with a private bathroom, comfortable, romantic, and functional, on the 1st floor, without elevator, non-smoking. You can have a self-service breakfast in the small deliciously equipped kitchen, where you can also make a hot tea or enjoy a cold drink or herbal tea whenever you like, just like at home.
A tip: travel light, because you will find hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, books on Florence, map of the historic center, umbrella and raincoat if it rains, since Florence deserves it even in the low season, indeed take advantage of the low prices, even at the Uffizi, and the fewer tourists. Around the house, you will find small supermarkets, laundromats open until the evening, bakeries, artisan pastry shops, art shops. Via Palazzuolo is a historic, characteristic, multi-ethnic street, we are in the neighborhood of the painter Sandro Botticelli (that's right, the one of the "Primavera"), of the navigator Amerigo Vespucci (the airport is named after him!), of the violinist Francesco Veracini, of the Oratorio dei Vanchetoni.
