Domo Sa Barra - Sant'Antioco Bed and Breakfast
The small town of Sant'Antioco is the main town on the island of the same name, the largest in Sardinia, to which it is connected by an artificial isthmus probably dating back to the Punic era and perfected by the Romans.
With its two towns, Sant'Antioco and Calasetta, it is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the beautiful region.
THE'
The ancient historic center, overlooking the harbor, is a succession of narrow streets and colorful houses, a true open-air museum that can be explored by following one of the historical itineraries that lead from the Roman bridge to the ethnographic museum, from the necropolis to the catacombs of Sant'Antioco Martire. On one of these streets, the central Via Garibaldi, lies Domo Sa Barra, an intimate, recently renovated guesthouse that allows you to experience life in an ancient fishing village while also enjoying the natural beauty the area has to offer. Its convenient location allows you to access the town's main amenities, such as supermarkets, pharmacies, bars, and inviting restaurants. At the same time, the short distance from the beaches allows for excursions around the island and an unforgettable holiday immersed in the pristine nature of a still-wild part of Sardinia.
The renovation of the property has not affected its original charm, enhancing the exposed stonework, arches, and the typical shape of the houses in the area.
As you enter the property you are welcomed into the common area, a space cared for down to the smallest details where you can refresh yourself thanks to the possibility of using the kitchen by agreement with the owner.
Domo Sa Barra has four spacious, bright rooms with air conditioning and free Wi-Fi, suitable for solo travelers, couples, and families.
On the ground floor, there is a large family room for four people, consisting of two connecting rooms and a room suitable for disabled guests with a bathroom with disabled access. The upper floor completes the structure with two large double bedrooms, each with a small terrace overlooking the town's rooftops, where you can enjoy the sea breeze on warm summer evenings.
All rooms at Domo Sa Barra have a private bathroom equipped with a set of towels, a hairdryer, and personal care products.
