Since 2015, Lilliput has welcomed its guests to a place that exists between reality and fairy tales, so much so that many refer to it as "the house of stories." Every corner has been thoughtfully designed to create an intimate atmosphere, a sanctuary where tranquility and harmony can be restored.
The vintage-style furnishings evoke the warmth of simple and authentic things. The cozy yet versatile spaces easily adapt: during the day, they serve as inviting little lounges, while at night, they transform into comfortable rooms, perfect for longer stays. The fiber-optic Wi-Fi connection allows guests to work or stay connected at any time.
The property features three rooms: two on the ground floor and one in the attic. Each room has its own entrance, private bathroom, and access to the kitchen. The triple room includes a single pull-out bed and a crib for children up to 3 years old; a double sofa bed is available upon request in the living room. For extended stays, there is an additional charge of €50 for final cleaning.
In the summer, Varese and its surroundings offer a variety of events and activities: from walks and free initiatives along Lake Schiranna to outdoor cinemas in various neighborhoods. "Varese Itinerari di Gusto" invites visitors to explore local flavors through restaurants, bars, and pastry shops, while the Tra-Monti Festival brings music and gatherings to the green setting of Villa Toeplitz. The FAI evenings provide memorable experiences with concerts and nighttime picnics in historic gardens, the Lunghnasad Festival celebrates Celtic culture in Golasecca, and the "Il Lago Cromatico" series enlivens the province with performances and art along the lake shores.
To make the stay even more special, guests can request a personalized video keepsake, a unique way to take home an authentic piece of their vacation.
The house has some steps and charges a tourist tax of €1 per person per night, up to a maximum of 7 nights annually, to be paid upon arrival. In the garden lives Rex, an affectionate Labrador who does not enter guest areas but will be happy to greet animal lovers.
