Nestled among olive trees, Agriturismo I Pipetta provides an ideal retreat for those seeking to rediscover the tranquility and serenity of rural life, away from the stress and hustle of city life. The establishment, fully renovated in 2000 to blend tradition with modern comfort, is located in the picturesque village of Legnaro, just three kilometers from Levanto and the Cinque Terre National Park.
The agriturismo stands on the historic medieval site known as “Cà da Basetta” and features five rooms with private bathrooms, overlooking the Levanto valley and the sea. Guests can enjoy a well-equipped kitchen-dining area for breakfast and dinner, a panoramic terrace for outdoor dining during the warmer months, and a spacious terraced garden cultivated with olive trees and Mediterranean plants, accessible via a scenic staircase from the Levanto-La Spezia provincial road. There is an underground parking area and a luggage service available upon request, while Levanto offers free or discounted parking with an advance pass request.
Managed by the family of Petrica Marian Benchea, the agricultural estate spans approximately two hectares planted with vines and olive trees. The renowned oil produced here, celebrated for its sweetness, is the flagship product, while new vineyards will soon allow for the offering of fine wine as well. The grounds also feature fruit trees such as lemons, oranges, cherries, apricots, peaches, plums, and figs, from which artisanal jams are made to enhance the morning breakfast.
In addition to olive oil and jams, the agriturismo offers limoncello, handcrafted liqueurs, pickled olives, seasonal vegetables, and products preserved in oil. Guests can also enjoy dinners featuring traditional dishes from Ligurian and Levantese cuisine, such as gattafin, herb pies, salted anchovies, ravioli alla pipetta, trofie with pesto, and homemade desserts.
Thanks to numerous marked trails, visitors can easily walk to some of the most beautiful spots along the Levante coast. Levanto, with its historic center, charming "caruggi," the Gothic church of Sant'Andrea, the castle, the medieval Loggia, and the Pietra promenade, offers a blend of culture, history, and captivating views. The fine sandy beach and crystal-clear sea complete the offering for a relaxing holiday.
Legnaro, a medieval village situated 200 meters above sea level, welcomes visitors with its Ligurian alleys, a square dominated by the church of San Pietro, and an authentic atmosphere that makes one feel at home immediately. The simple and genuine hospitality of its residents will be a delightful surprise for those who choose to stay here.
