The Colori e Note B&B is located in the historic district of Materdei, a district of the oldest and most characteristic Naples, halfway between the lower part of the city and the hilly part, it represents Neapolis, the Greek Naples.

Materdei, together with Sanità (which gave birth to the great Totò) and the Virgins, were the splendid scenography of the film "The gold of Naples", made famous by the interpretations of Sophia Loren, in the role of the "pizza maker ”; The district is also famous for the recent architectural redevelopment of its main square, Piazza Scipione Ammirato, where there is the Metro line 1 stop.
