Il Trulletto

Contrada Romanelli, 298 MONOPOLI | Area: countryside
Declared by the Innkeeper

The Trulletto is located in the hills of the Bari Murgia, a chain of lush green hills, immersed in nature and surrounded by ancient olive trees. The B&B is just a few kilometers away from Alberobello, the Fasano Safari Zoo, Castellana Caves, the beautiful coves and beaches of Capitolo, and all the centers of the Bari Murgia.

Staying in the trullo offers a unique experience; the rooms feature dome-shaped ceilings, conical roofs, and thick walls—over a meter wide—painted in white or warm colors, which keep the interiors cool in summer and warm in winter. There are niches carved into the walls that serve as shelves, all set within a gentle and welcoming ancient nature.

The Trulletto is an ancient trullo from the 1700s, fully renovated while respecting traditions and perfectly suited to modern needs.

The Trulletto features a living room with a fireplace, a table and chairs made of wrought iron, and niches. Adjacent to the living room, separated by a charming little opening in the wall, is the double bedroom, with wardrobes built into the niches and designated spaces for luggage and other bulky items.

From the living room, a characteristic arch leads to a small kitchen that is fully equipped. Guests have access to a coffee machine, a mini-fridge, and everything needed for breakfast.

In addition to the trullo, the property offers three modern, independent bedrooms, each equipped with private bathrooms, a TV, a mini-fridge, and air conditioning, all carefully furnished. The rooms are interconnected, making them suitable for families or groups.

Outside, the property provides ample parking with a gate, relaxation areas for long walks, a wood-fired oven, and a barbecue.
