Fontanelle is an organic farmhouse by the sea, a few kilometers north of Otranto, and a stone's throw from the beautiful Baia dei Turchi beach. We have designed our rooms in harmony with the natural environment that surrounds them, using local materials, sustainable technologies, and furnishings that reflect the culture of the region.
Our location allows easy access not only to the free beach or bathing establishments (within walking distance), but also to the natural oasis of the Alimini Lakes (1 km by car or bicycle) and the beautiful Otranto (5 minutes by car or bus).
We are pleased to accommodate you in 9 double rooms with bathrooms, all different but equally comfortable, furnished thematically inspired by the characters of Otranto's history: the beautiful Idrusa, Alfonso d'Aragona, Akmed Pascià, Colangelo the fisherman, and many others. Each room has a unique atmosphere!
The rooms, all equipped with private outdoor space with a clothesline, table, and chairs, some overlooking a sunny garden, are provided with: air conditioning, mosquito nets, a small fridge, TV, complimentary soaps, bed linen and towels, shower, wifi internet, and internal parking. A rich organic breakfast is served outdoors.
Within the estate, you can also purchase our organic products: extra virgin olive oil, pasta made from ancient grains, fresh vegetables, tomato sauce, and other products from local farms.
