Nice room, but the reception needs improvement. Overall, my experience was sufficient, but there were some issues that lead me to give 3 stars. The room was spacious and nice, with a window overlooking the Piazzetta della Pioggia, really picturesque and pleasant. The breakfast was also a nice touch: vouchers are provided for a very good external bar, with a wide selection and quality. Really appreciated! Unfortunately, however, the reception left much to be desired. Even though I had communicated the check-in time in advance, I waited about 40 minutes outside the door for someone to let me in. After ringing for about half an hour, only then did someone decide to respond to me, understandable if no one was in the structure, but even after the response I had to wait another 5-10 minutes. During all this time, there was no response on my cell phone, neither to calls nor to messages sent in the previous days. When I finally managed to enter, the managers apologized, saying they had made a mistake with the check-in time by an hour, but honestly, they didn’t seem particularly sorry about what happened. An update message or more attention would certainly have made a difference, especially considering that I was on a business trip and feared not having accommodation for the night. Moreover, even though it's not dramatic, the cleanliness can definitely be improved: it wasn't at the level I would expect from a structure with good potential. In conclusion: room and breakfast approved, but the reception and customer attention deserve more care.
