In the small and quiet village of Messenano we had a great time. We stayed as a couple at Casa Giovanna, a house actually structured for 4 people with 2 double bedrooms, large kitchen with sitting area, bathroom with tub and 2 delightful terraces where to have breakfast or relax in the evening. We visited Umbria in early August: while the rest of the region was suffering from torrid heat, in Messenano the air remained a constant cool that allowed us to enjoy our stay to the fullest. The house is equipped with every comfort and attention (linen, very well-equipped kitchen, spices, condiments, even flour and yeast!). There are no parking problems as there is a small dedicated area where you can easily leave the car a few steps from the house. Emanuela welcomed us kindly, answered all our questions and met our needs. The only (small) downside is the poor cell phone reception and a somewhat weak wifi, but the owners were already equipping themselves to solve this. Highly recommended! The pictures do not do the beauty of the place justice. P. S. If you are an animal lover, the village is frequented by many sweet kittens.

Enchanting village and very welcoming house, very kind and helpful owners, convenient for visiting various locations in Umbria. Clean, fragrant and tidy house, plenty of linen available for the five of us, and everything needed for breakfast (coffee, sugar, tea). The owner did some washing for us and returned the laundry, kindly hosted us for a whole day in her house because she had a university exam. Emanuela, her husband, and Beatrice were really friendly. We will definitely return.

I start from the first phone contact, where Emanuela was immediately courteous and friendly, the house is located in a small village where you really disconnect from the hectic way of life, nature and the preservation of this little gem frame everything. Emanuela and her whole family have a rare empathy to find today. Thank you so much for everything.

Casa Giovanna is spacious and clean, we really enjoyed having breakfast on one of the two terraces. It is located in an ancient village, Messenano, quiet, characteristic although quite far from larger inhabited centers. Emanuela welcomed us with kindness and availability.

Beautiful location, very quiet area and above all convenient because you can reach the surroundings in a short time. Mrs. Emanuela, very kind and always available. The only downside, perhaps, is the lack of attention to details inside the house. But it is an absolutely personal and subjective evaluation. I would still gladly return.

Rustic apartment with good equipment located in a very pretty and quite tranquil village. We chose this property mainly because it accepted the holiday bonus and the location, about half an hour from many places of interest (Marmore Waterfall, Spoleto, Narni, Clitunno Springs, Todi), was a good choice.

Abbiamo soggiornato 2 giorni in questo piccolo incantevole borgo. Un oasi di pace nel fascino discreto di un borgo medioevale. Vicino ai luoghi che volevamo visitare (Spoleto, Todi) e a molti altri ugualmente belli ed interessanti. Lo consigliamo di cuore, già lo abbiamo fatto ai nostri amici. Ci torneremo. Grazie davvero. Un piccolo ed antico borgo, dove ritrovare tempo, calma, serenità. Perfetto per famiglie e bambini, che possono muoversi liberamente ed in sicurezza tra le vie acciottolate e pedonali del borgo. La "Casa di Marianna" si presenta pulita ed in ordine, ed Emanuela è un'ospite cortese e disponibile. Da consigliare e da tornare.

Siamo stati a Messenano le due settimane centrali di agosto e non potevamo sperare di trovare sistemazione migliore per poterci rilassare e nel contempo visitare una parte di Umbria che ancora non conoscevamo. Nel contempo abbiamo avuto modo di ritrovare quegli antichi rapporti umani che troppo spesso in città purtroppo si dimenticano. Quando parti da Messenano ti senti più sereno per ciò che hai potuto vedere e sentire.

La camera presa in affitto è veramente confortevole, tenuta benissimo e molto pulita. Il proprietario è stato gentilissimo e disponibile e ci ha trattato quasi come fossimo di famiglia! La posizione è davvero incantevole e, anche se è un po' perso nelle colline umbre, è in una posizione ideale per partire alla scoperta dell'Umbria.
