Alessandro was a terrific host, making sure that I felt at home. His English is limited, but he is very kind and patient trying to understand the needs of his guests. The room had a nice patio with an incredible view of Pescara down below. The location of the property on the hillside is unusual, but close enough to the old center of Chieti. Breakfast was great, and it was nice that he had some chocolates in the room for me to snack on when I arrived. The only downside to this B&B is that the beds are pretty small. I had booked a room with what looked like a larger bed, but because I was traveling alone he moved me to this room, which had a bed that was not quite a single in US standards. That's too small for someone my size. I would make sure to check about the beds when booking. Otherwise, I highly recommend. It is a lovely home, and the value for what you get for a low price is worth checking this place out.
