Pool without water in June, bar closed with the possibility of having breakfast by walking quite a bit... could improve!

Dated structure, unusable pool to be renovated, slightly murky water with chipped lining, clean rooms, kind and courteous staff, the beach can be reached on foot even though it is 500m away, very quiet area, parking outside the property (otherwise it costs 5€ per day) is still in a quiet area, cars are safe; the entire structure should be renovated.

Structure with enviable location, courteous and helpful managers.

Great location, close to the beach, no need to take the car to get around, the little town has everything for the fun of adults and children. The mini-apartment is well equipped with everything you need. Alessia has always been very kind and helpful to our requests, she is simply top!

Great structure but could offer more services. Piano bar in the evening.

Quiet location overlooking the sea, close to the sea and the center of Donnalucata, just a stone's throw from Pozzallo and Marina di Ragusa. The manager of the structure Alessia is very kind and helpful. The pool is very beautiful.

Absolutely recommended structure, we stayed in a lovely studio, clean and equipped with everything, relaxing environment and very kind staff, to enjoy the excellent croissants for breakfast! On windy days and in Donnalucata it happens, the pool of Residence Solemare is greatly appreciated. We really enjoyed it and we definitely plan to come back… it's worth it!

An excellent Residence with a pool and a stone's throw from the sea. In less than 5 minutes on foot you reach a beautiful sandy beach. The rooms are spacious, clean, and equipped with all comforts including a kitchen. The managers are very friendly and available for any information. You can breathe a holiday atmosphere and tranquility. Both I and my family had a wonderful three days. We will definitely come back.

Very cozy place, in a great location both to visit nearby tourist attractions and to go to the beach, close to Donnalucata beach, the girl at the reception Alessia very kind, available for any need, quiet and very relaxing atmosphere, excellent choice.

The structure was clean and functional. Maximum seriousness. Alessia was a helpful and kind person. I will definitely come back!

The structure turns out to be different from the photos on the website, small rooms for 4 people and lack of basic cooking essentials such as sugar, salt, oil. They do not have spare rooms, so in case of problems with your own room it is not possible to use another one.

Very nice residence, not luxurious but very clean and welcoming staff. Not far from the sea and shops and restaurants.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time at Residence Solemare, the host Allesia was really helpful and the room was super clean. The pool was great and the apartment's location is close to the sea, I will definitely come back!

We were guests at 'Residence Solemare' on the weekend of June 18-20 and we had a good time: the room was nice, with a beautiful view, excellent cleanliness, and the owner was very kind and helpful. The pool is also nice, where you can breathe a lot of tranquility and it's great even when it's windy at the sea, as it happened to us. I will come back, if possible.

The property is located near a beautiful golden sandy beach with a very clear sea. The architectural part requires many hygienic and structural interventions. The bathroom is very dated, the kitchen corner lacks pots, the refrigerator doesn't cool, the bed linen is crumpled, and the pillows are precarious. The interior and exterior walls need to be re-plastered and repainted, the air conditioner filters need cleaning, ours emitted a terrible smell. The ceiling fan only operated at one speed, despite being supposed to have at least three. The terrace table was broken, missing a leg! Overall, the apartment appeared reasonably clean, but not the surrounding area. Unused parts of the structure with piles of junk, dust, disorder, abandoned furniture. Neglect of the green area and the pool, which had green and murky water. We never used the pool.

Kindness and availability of the owner Alessia at the top. Quiet and peaceful place for families looking for relaxation. Excellent breakfast, worth coming back.

Friendly and collaborative staff.

I had the opportunity to enjoy a pleasant vacation free from conventions. The studio with kitchenette allowed me to taste typical products without being tied to a restaurant. In the morning, having breakfast on the terrace with good bread, very fresh ricotta, and excellent honey overlooking the sea on one side and the olive trees on the other was priceless. The pool was also perfect, an excellent alternative to the beach during the hottest hours. It was like enjoying the benefits of the countryside (silence, scents) but with a sea view and a stone's throw from the village. Thanks to Alessia, impeccable in every request, friendly and an excellent reference for all information about the area.

Very basic, perhaps too much. Rooms are very small, they cannot be called mini-apartments. Willing staff, but inexperienced. For example, cleaning of the common areas should not be done before 9 am. Residence Solemare.

Il residence è molto carino, tranquillo gode di una posizione eccellente a due passi dalla famosa spiaggia di ponente di Donnalucata, a due passi dalla movida. Il personale è molto gentile, disponibile. Forse potrebbero migliorare gli arredi e la biancheria degli alloggi. Molto buono il rapporto qualità prezzo. Lo consiglio caldamente

Un residence silenzioso ed accogliente, a pochi metri dal mare, vicino al corso principale e poco distante da spiagge meravigliose. Se tornerò a donnalucata sceglierei sicuramente ancora il sole are, mi sono sentita a casa grazie alla cortesia ed alla disponibilità di Alessia! Consigliatissimo!

Accoglienza, cordialità e disponibilità impagabili dei proprietari, aggiungono quella familiarità piacevole e unica. Il posto è molto comodo si può scegliere di scendere a piedi a mare o di rimanere a passeggiare per il paesino. Soggiorno molto gradevole.

Residence molto accogliente e ben attrezzato. Proprietari gentilissimi e molto disponibili. Posizione ottima per il mare e per le visite.

The hostess was very welcoming, she send us the directions in advance. She was even waiting for us after closing time. The studio was clean, had a good bed, was fully equipped, and had a big balcony with sea view, This all for a very reasonable price We had a great stay, and hope we will return another time. Thank you Alessia!

È stato un soggiorno bellissimo, che non dimenticherò. Tranquillità, cortesia e grande benessere sono stati i miei compagni per tutto il periodo della vacanza.

Buon B&B, stanza con lo stretto necessario, bagno con doccia un po' vecchiotta, ma funzionante, gentilissima la proprietaria.

Abbiamo alloggiato nell’appartamento 2+2 posti, semplice ma funzionale, ben attrezzato, buona la posizione delle due porte finestre che consentono una buona areazione (per chi non ama l’aria condizionata;). Il mare è raggiungibile a piedi in 5 minuti, bella spiaggia di sabbia, ampia (con docce pubbliche) e mai affollata (prima settimana di agosto). Ottima la posizione per visitare le città barocche attorno. Scicli splendida!

Personale molto gentile e disponibile. L'unica nota non particolarmente positiva è la scarsa dotazione di stoviglie (qualche tazza in più e cucchiaini per la colazione non sarebbe male). Però se non avete intenzione di cucinare non è un problema. Piacevole la piscina, tranquillo non essendo su una via principale di passaggio e comunque non distante dalla spiaggia. Monolocale è spazioso. Positiva anche l'aria condizionata così come mai avuto problemi con l'erogazione di acqua (come a volte capita in Sardegna). Alcuni particolari (mobiletti e manutenzione rubinetti) ricordano la Grecia di anni fa, ma se per voi non sono aspetti importanti, in generale consiglio la struttura.
