Simone and Michele are extremely friendly and very professional. The design of the property is excellent (almost everything designed and handmade by Michele). The breakfast was another surprise: everything homemade by Simone and extremely tasteful. We had a lovely stay. Thank you Simone and Michele and hope to see you again soon!

We have traveled a lot but few times have we met such friendly and passionate managers. Casa Materia was a unique experience.

The Casa Materia house is a little gem nestled 2 steps away from the sassi of Matera. We stayed there with our 2 older teenagers. Michele and Simone are outstanding hosts and the attention to detail is evident. The breakfast cooked by Simone and the discovery of Michele's works are 2 highlights of our stay. Note that in the 4-person room, the facilities are behind 1 of the 2 rooms without soundproofing... So it's best to stay there with close friends, otherwise among friends, it's better to opt to separate in the 2 rooms of the house. Very good stay for us.

Beautiful location, just steps away from the center. Excellent attention to detail, design, cleanliness, and great care towards guests. Not to forget the breakfast, only fresh and local products, all homemade! I can only recommend.
