0 stars! I would not recommend to anyone! Worst experience we’ve been through. We booked this b&b in the center of bologna, we left our bags to go for lunch. When we came back they told us that we needed to take our move to a different b&b because the “bathroom was broke”…they already had a plan and new b&b was OUTSIDE the city center and it was the most awful and disgusting place we’ve ever stayed in…B&B Ellegance… cold, very dirty, noisy… and we initially paid for breakfast but in the new place there was no breakfast. AND THE PRICE WAS THE SAME! The website did not give us an option to cancel or we would have lost the money. The “administrator” came to the new b&b and we expressed our unhappiness about the state of the place and about the whole situation and he said there’s nothing he can do. He gave us the number of the owner and we called him but he refused to answer. The Administrator INSISTED that we gave him the credit card there on the spot. I told him that the details of the credit card were put in the website when we first booked and he said and that i don’t feel safe to give my bank details to a stranger, I refused and gave him cash and he had no choice…obviously i did not get any sort of receipt. I contacted the website : “We will open an internal investigation” they said. My guess is that they re-booked our room for more money and moved us to an inferior b&b with the excuse of the broken bathrrom.

Me and my brother (we come from Croatia) spent 4 days in beautiful Bologna at this amazing place with likely best value for money in the entire city. The location of the Marconi Inn is great, the entire staff (Alfonso, Frank, Jerome) is just amazing - so polite, kind and willing to help with any kind of questions, including printing tickets for the airport and answering emails at 05:30. The staff is very professional and the facilities are clean. The only negative side would be the breakfast. It is included in the price and this cannot be objected, but it includes only coffee and croissant at the nearby restaurant. Everything else (toast) needs to be paid additionally. In case the breakfast includes a greater offer (eggs, sandwiches, juices, etc.) that would be just perfect. Regardless of this, I give a pure 10/10 to this facility. Good luck with the work and please keep being so professional and kind.

Top structure and managers! I recommend it especially if you need to visit the center of Bologna, 10 minutes on foot! Also, a very close bus stop to go to both the stadium and Casalecchio! The structure is very beautiful and clean, impeccable host's welcome! There is also the possibility of luggage storage.

Professional B&B with reception until 7:30 PM, central location, very helpful manager. Modern but worn furniture, new bathroom but with slow drains and a slight smell in the room. I appreciated the minibar, the possibility to make coffee with the included machine, the kettle, and the excellent herbal teas, as well as the courtesy set. However, the double room is not very large and could use some refreshing. Breakfast at the bar next to the ground floor of the structure.
