Carlo welcomes you and, together with his wife Anna, will tell you about Genoa and make you fall in love with their beautiful city. I felt at home, actually better, because it is a house that oozes history and life. I highly recommend this heartfelt place to everyone.

Excellent location, great facilities for a 2 night stay. Note that there is not much natural light but this is standard for Genova so do not let it put you off. The highlight of this place is the lovely hosts! Would definitely recommend staying here, thank you!

The location of the Affittacamere San Lorenzo B&B is optimal both for the view of the city center and for access to public transport for broader excursions. The room with bathroom is very cozy. The common area including the kitchen corner and lounge is complete with all imaginable details. Mr. Carlo is contagiously courteous and does not hesitate to provide all useful information to simplify movements or advice for the best dining options. Highly recommended.

Very beautiful room, tastefully furnished. Good self-service with coffee, water dispenser for chilled sparkling water. The location is perfect, right at the most beautiful square in Genoa. The landlord is very friendly and gives good tips for the city.

The site is perfect, next to the Cathedral. It's charming. It has a refrigerator and coffee machine. Calm and silence during the stay. Clean, clean sheets. Our only 'but' is the bed, soft mattress. We will repeat when we come back, which we will surely do.

Excellent accommodation to stay in Genoa in the historic center. The owner was very kind and helpful, also advising us on places to visit and restaurants to eat in.

Carlo and his wife were absolutely lovely throughout our stay. We arrived pretty late in the night and they waited for us so we could check in. Also, they let us check out later (actually, Carlo asked us when we wanted to leave, rather than imposing a cap), and since we would still be roaming around Genoa, they kept our bags for us for the whole day. The apartment is beautiful and quirky, and you can see their attention to detail everywhere. We had a pretty good night's sleep, bed linen was clean and comfy, and the bathroom was pristine clean. We cannot recommend it enough, thank you very much!

The location is perfect, the room is beautiful, very clean and the beds are comfortable. The common area has everything you need to prepare breakfast and dinner. I didn't have breakfast but I saw the table set for another guest and it seemed really rich. The owners make the difference, they are lovely people and super helpful. I hope to be able to come back soon.

Great welcome from Carlo and Anna who managed to make us taste the real Genoa. Carlo was a valid guide telling the story of Genoese culture and art. Their hospitality will remain in our memories of this trip.

In the very center, quiet and peaceful area, charming little apartment in a historic building. Welcoming atmosphere, very well heated room, enveloping and comfortable bed, large functional and very clean bathroom. Good breakfast with also focaccia genovese, maybe I would have also liked some yogurt and cereals. The host is an exquisite person, very kind, generous. Very helpful, waited for me until late for check-in and was very flexible for check-out. Provides excellent advice and suggestions, both for sightseeing and for the city's curiosities. B&B absolutely recommended.

The structure is welcoming and comfortable, equipped with an exclusive entrance with the manager nearby for any need. It shows traces of past history through the wooden beams from 1200 and the stone blocks from the old Genoa pier probably reused in many homes. The manager is sociable and available to provide historical and geographical information. The breakfast was excellent as well as his willingness to support me in extra needs like printing some documents I needed at the moment.

The best possible attention and the best place in the city. Mr. Carlo is the perfect host! He gave me many very useful tips on transportation, what to see, and where to eat. The breakfast he prepares is very abundant and delicious, with homemade pastries and jams. The B&B is located 30 meters from the cathedral, from where you can reach everywhere in no time. The cleanliness is perfect, with daily towel changes and sheet changes every three nights. It's a luxury to sleep in a building from the thirteenth century, with all the comforts in the room. The wifi fails a lot, but that's logical because it's in a caruggi. Thank you very much for your attention, Mr. Carlo.

We chose this property for its central location. Carlo, the owner and manager, is a lovely person. We booked only the overnight stay in the room with two beds. Coffee and water are provided free of charge to guests. Despite being equipped with every comfort, the accommodation is very dark because the window overlooks a duct. I'm not sure if the double bed room enjoys light and air; in that case, it would be suitable for longer stays.

So, did you ever imagine putting your head on a bed in the 12th century palace of a Genoese admiral? This palace, to be clear, is not the 15th-century Renaissance version a block wide, but rather a twelfth-century urban fortress abutting the Cathedral, smaller, probably more comfortable, and in the end, more to my taste: instead of soaring ceiling frescoes with flying putti, this noble dwelling has delicate paintings on its ancient rafters. We took the entire suite on the first floor, two bedrooms and a kitchen dining area, about 60 sq meters or 800 sq feet. The rooms are renovated with quality materials and good furnishings, and beautifully decorated. Very quiet, as you might expect with walls a meter thick. The owner is an older gentleman with elegant manners, and his welcome, while reserved, could not be more genuine -- he is extremely proud to share with you this remarkable dwelling. It is located in a no-driving zone an eight-minute walk from the Pietrapicca car park. We had no trouble finding it given its location a few meters from the cathedral, but you won't see the sign until you are looking directly at the door which opens to the short section of the street with steps.

A historic apartment in the old town of Genoa. Comfortable bed. Very clean. Great breakfast.

We stayed for one night. We liked very much the design, cleanliness, beds, the quality of all the subjects in the apartment. We shall return.

Comfortable and clean facility in a great location. Very quiet room, comfortable bed (I would recommend more lighting in the room). Extremely kind and helpful manager. Excellent and abundant breakfasts with tasty yogurt produced by the manager. I highly recommend it.

We really liked this location, it is in the center, quite close to Brignole station (for those with good legs it doesn't take long to get there) and served by buses and metro, the environment is very peculiar, not very large but well-kept and the breakfast was spectacular, table set with all kinds of goodies: butter, homemade jams and yogurt (delicious!), focaccia, very fresh brioches, Nutella, fresh bread and toast, orange juice and slices of melon. What can I say, we will definitely come back!

Excellent accommodation in the center of Genoa, very convenient for Porto Antico, Aquarium and Teatro Carlo Felice. Absolutely recommended and a praise to the manager who is very kind.
