I wanted to thank and compliment Gaetano and Federica, two very kind and helpful people who give their utmost to meet the needs of their guests in their establishment. Gaetano, on Friday afternoon during the room assignment, after our request on what to do in the town, recommended us to take the Bear's Path (a one-hour forest trail) driving us to the starting point. At the end of the walk, since it was about to rain, he took the trouble to call us asking if he should come back to pick us up by car (never happened in many years of vacations). I found the B&B rooms very beautiful, comfortable, and clean. Not to mention the abundant breakfast with a good selection of products (croissants, yogurt, jams, etc.), good cappuccino, and also the spectacular carrot cake. Thanks again for everything.

Beautiful rooms, very kind staff, everything well-kept and clean, even Netflix with account already connected and the TV with volume lock to not disturb other guests! I find it a nice touch! The only downside is the slightly small room, but I will definitely come back!

Gaetano and Federica, the managers, are two wonderful people, with a unique kindness and always available. They go the extra mile to meet all the customers' needs. I stayed just one night and the room was cozy and clean. Among the various features, it also had a mini-fridge. The breakfast is plentiful with croissants and donuts. Gaetano and Federica will provide you with all the information and tips to visit the Majella National Park. Gaetano also organizes quad excursions to fully appreciate the beauty of the place. When I return to Campo di Giove next time, I will definitely stay here again.

What can I say? Everything was perfect, the managers were more than helpful and friendly, a very well-structured and clean B&B. We were comfortable in every aspect and the location offers good activities like excursions, starting from the Quad tour with Gaetano to William's excursions. We will be back.

We felt like we were at our own home, Gaetano and Federica, the managers, are two extraordinary people, able to immerse us in the paradisiacal context that is the mountain. As soon as we arrived, well in advance and with a different check-in time, Gaetano delivered the room to us after a moment, sanitized in compliance with all COVID government regulations, presenting impeccable cleanliness, inside and out. The rooms are really comfortable, the structure has been recently renovated, very welcoming, so we had the pleasure of staying an extra night, unplanned, both for the context that surrounded us, and for how we were treated. Simple but genuine breakfast, with delicious cakes. In short, we will be back!

We travel by motorcycle and had the splendid opportunity to visit Campo di Giove, a small characteristic village immersed in the Abruzzo National Park. We stayed at this B&B managed by two young and splendid people, Gaetano and Federica. We highly recommend it for cleanliness, order, hospitality, and great availability.

This welcoming structure has not so much met the expectations (since we didn't have a particular one) as the feeling of harmony and harmony with the context. After a journey of over 2 hours, we slowly saw the landscape change, the temperature, the atmosphere, and here arises that emotion that only the charm of the mountain can awaken. We arrived directly at the structure and there, through the narrow door, we understood that we were looking for that dimension: we had arrived among the mountains, but above all we were entering mountain life! The perfect and courteous welcome of the owners immediately makes you feel at ease... as if that house was already yours. Ancient and new blend in harmony. During the period we were there, returning to “normal” life after the worst phases of Covid, we greatly appreciated the attention of the young couple (Federica and Gaetano) both for the health measures (distancing and hygiene) and for the attention to detail... all very new elements (they renovated less than a year ago)... but integrated with icons of popular past (wonderful family tree hanging in the hallway as well as the photo of the grandmother... and the old sign of the original inn) and the surrounding nature (images, of wolves, eagles, etc., imprinted on the stone walls or carved on the wooden finishes of the room). In short, an immediate... genuine and sincere... taste that never disappears! The village, Campo di Giove, is human-sized... there is everything for a few (at least in July)... and this increases the perception of welcome and empathy (essential if you stay for just a few days). The rooms do not have balconies but large windows, very bright, which allow nice views of the courtyard below, colorful thanks to a small sitting area with tables and chairs and an enchanted grass garden with dwarfs and dreamlike elements. Breakfast... of course... had to meet the imposed prophylaxis needs... but as soon as possible Federica will surely be able to realize her breakfast idea... made of "zero km" products and curated in every detail. Another reason to come back! There are many things to see... and, when you leave, you are so sure you want to see them that you could easily subscribe to a "I'll be back"! Excellent “homemade” cakes for breakfast... and eggs produced by themselves: never found so fresh! In all this... knowing that a bear passed right next to this B&B increases the dream of a life linked to an intact past... indifferent to the passing of years and trends: here technological development arrives (there is more wifi than GSM) but with respect and discretion... and as long as these oases exist... the heart of every human being... will feel the hope of a better future! "The Old Wolf"... survives and regenerates with this spirit: the sustainability of environmentalist tourism! Long live "The Old Wolf"!

Recently renovated structure with taste and simplicity, a rarity in the panorama of B&Bs in Abruzzo. The rooms are quite spacious and welcoming, very quiet. The bed is quite firm and the sheets are of excellent quality and well ironed and set up; the property is absolutely attentive to cleanliness and hygiene in general especially in this particular moment of health emergency. Unfortunately, breakfast is penalized by the need to serve sterile meals, but I would say that this aspect can be overlooked globally.

The place, in the historic center of Campo di Giove, is truly magical. The attention to details and the refinement of the particulars made our stay wonderful. Among the available books to read, there were even some suitable for our little ones. We appreciated the comfort of the beds and pillows, the cleanliness of the rooms. With my partner, we decided to spend a few days in the mountains with our four-legged friend. Throughout our stay, we were greeted with a very familiar and hospitable atmosphere at all times. The structure has been renovated just a few weeks ago and still smells new. There is an impeccable care and attention to detail and daily cleaning in the rooms. We stayed in the room of the Vecchio Lupo, furnished in the typical mountain style. There is also a minibar, very convenient (we used it to keep drinks and fruit fresh for our excursions). Federica and Gaetano were loving towards our dog. The breakfast is plentiful with a wide choice. In every room, there are disposable shampoo and shower gel sachets, and the sanitary facilities are brand new. There is wifi in every room and free street parking. You really feel at home! Definitely a place to go back to.
