Jeanette is a wonderful cook and baker, her breakfasts are what me and my family look forward to! She is very accommodating and kind. We stay here every time we come to Cortona. Love her and her family! It's near many shops and wonderful restaurants, plus museums and beautiful sightseeing opportunities. There's also a park close by that is great for the kids. We absolutely love it at Casa Chilenne B&B.

We so enjoyed our stay at Casa Chilenne in Cortona. We had a large, quiet room near the center of town. The owner was warm and welcoming. She shared local information and tips. Her breakfast was delicious. We will be back.

Bring my expectations. Our hostess is from the US but moved to Cortona over 30 years ago, so no communication issues. Her baking was unbelievable. I will be dreaming of it for years. The place is rich in history and has a clothes washer. My only warning is that steps are steep to get to the rooms. There is a chair lift to sit on for those to get up the stairs or for luggage. Location perfect and loved that it was so close to public parking.

Jeanette is truly a spectacular hostess and her property is charming. Great location in Cortona along the main thoroughfare with a lot of shops, cafes and restaurants! The breakfast was fantastic with a great mix of fresh pastries, breads and granola. Highly recommend.

A wonderfully comfortable top floor room in the back - spacious and well outfitted. Luscious breezes blowing from the front terrace. Excellent bathroom. A bit hard for elderly to navigate to the top but electric chair lift helps a lot.

The Casa Chilenne B&B is located right in the center, but there are several parking lots nearby that were kindly pointed out to us before our arrival. It's a beautiful building, the rooms are spacious, super clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all comforts. I loved the breakfast served with homemade pastries (our favorites), but just ask and everything will be provided. A very pleasant and positive experience!

Jeanette is an exceptional hostess. This is quite the best place I have stayed in Cortona.

Warm welcome from Jeanette and her husband. The large room and spacious bathroom. At check out, Jeanette prepared an envelope with a series of tastings of her pastries that she prepares for breakfast to take away. To recommend and to return.

And if there is an 8 in the structure it is only because indeed there are many stairs, but for the rest everything is truly impeccable. The managers are extremely welcoming people, the breakfast is always excellent and always different! Congratulations to Casa Chilenne!

Jeanette is a warm and gracious host. We loved our 4-day stay at Casa Chilenne B&B. Perfect location, only a few steps from taxi or bus drop off, shopping, restaurants, etc. Our room was clean and spacious, with traditional Tuscan decor. Jeanette's baking prowess will be immediately apparent at your first breakfast.

Janette is a very friendly lady who made our stay a pleasure. She has the best breakfast we’ve experienced in 3 weeks of travels!

Outstanding in every way. \nIt has been my 3rd time coming back to stay with Jeannette. Such a beautiful person, the best host ever. \nWould recommend it to anybody.

We had a wonderful time at Jeanette’s B&B. She made us feel welcome and at home upon our arrival. The B&B is located in the pedestrian area but close to the jitney bus stop that runs from the train station every hour. Breakfast was made to our specifications with fresh bagels. This Bed & Breakfast is in the heart of Cortona, a great location. The Host Jeannett is the most gracious and kind person you will ever meet. Her wonderful breakfast in the morning is really something to look forward to! We will definitely come back again.

We spent 8 marvelous days at Casa Chilenne B&B. Jeanette and Luciano immediately made us feel comfortable and welcome. They attended to every detail and are attentive, gracious and knowledgeable, providing immeasurable advice about what to see and do in Cortona and its surroundings. Jeanette sets a delightful breakfast table. Her morning pastries are scrumptious: fresh bomboloni (filled doughnuts), croissants with luscious fillings, scones, galettes, cakes, and more. She also offers foods for heartier meals: waffles, eggs, bacon, toast, fruit, yogurt, etc. All the beverages are superb, but we were partial to their excellent caffe (espresso) and Americano coffees. The town minibus stops at Piazza Garibaldi about 90 meters (295 feet) from Casa Chilenne which is on the main road Via Nazionale. The building originally built in the 1600s, or earlier, is fully renovated with every modern convenience. We loved the high ceilings, comfortable furnishings, tastefully embossed walls and ceilings. Many Cortona streets prohibit motorized vehicles during the daytime which made walking about truly enjoyable. Thank you, Jeanette and Luciano, for an unforgettable stay. Your love of Tuscany is irresistible. We highly recommend Casa Chilenne to anyone considering a trip to Cortona. We definitely plan to return. July 2022 Geri K and Mike D.

We stayed only one night in 2 rooms (le gazze and le tortore) on the first floor of Casa Chilenne B&B. We were enthusiastic about many things: first of all, the kindness of Jeanette and her husband, two exquisite people, then the completely homemade breakfast of very high quality and with a wide choice, last but not least, the spacious rooms, with air conditioning, huge and spotlessly clean bathroom with everything you need. If we come back to Cortona, we will book here again. By the way, the B&B is located at the beginning of the historic center so easily reachable with luggage and the free parking is accessible via the escalators... so perfect!

Central location, air-conditioned and well-cleaned room, spacious shower, sweet and savory breakfast (Italian and international) carefully prepared by Jeanette, different every day but always attentive to guests' requests (and food intolerances). Rooms arranged on multiple floors but easily accessible with elevator even for the elderly. We asked the manager for directions to sports facilities in the area and places to visit, they were precise and very helpful. In my opinion, excellent value for money.

This was my first visit to Cortona, Italy. The Casa Chilenne B&B easily receives grades of 10+ in every category. \nThe breakfasts, however, need much higher grades... about 20 would be more appropriate! \nFamily-style kindness is the norm. They are so welcoming and helpful in every way. \nI hope to return again and again to this wonderful city, and these wonderful people of Casa Chilenne B&B. \nRB.

A bed and breakfast in the center of Cortona. The owners make you feel comfortable, manage to give the feeling of being at home, kind and caring, good breakfast with dishes prepared by the lady. Recommended!

Wow what a treat to stay in this beautiful bed and breakfast in the heart of Cortona and be treated like royalty. It was my daughter's birthday so Jeanette, the owner, pulled out all stops and made it a very memorable event for her. Our stay at Casa Chilenne was outstanding. The location is not far from the square. You are in for a treat if you book a stay, Jeanette's pastries are homemade and honestly some of the best we've had while in Italy. I am partial to her almond croissants! The rooms are reasonably priced with personal service.

Spent 2 nights in Cortona at Casa Chilenne which was so conveniently located near a train station and in the City Square. The area is so lovely and our stay at the bed and breakfast was completely enjoyable. We loved our gracious hosts who took very good care of us, fed us hearty breakfasts that supplied us with energy to explore the beauty of Cortona and offered many suggestions for shopping and dining in the town where everybody knew their name! Best of all, Jeanette the hostess and I played Ukulele together after dinner one night, which was a hoot! The room we stayed in was comfortable and roomy and offered all the amenities one would find in a hotel. Love love loved the time spent in Cortona.

I rarely write reviews. When I do it is because there has been something really special that is worth sharing. At Casa Chilenne our hosts made us feel welcome and at home. This isn’t a cookie-cutter experience like staying at a chain hotel. It felt like staying at an old friend's home. In short, wonderful and a place I will come back to. Jeanette's breakfast is exceptional. A local friend called it the best breakfast in Cortona. I would agree, Jeanette clearly takes pride in her cooking, baking, and making sure your stay is memorable.

Abbiamo trascorso un piacevolissimo soggiorno in questo B&B nel centro di Cortona, facilmente raggiungibile con le scale mobili dal parcheggio gratuito dove abbiamo lasciato la nostra macchina. L'appartamento è molto elegante e silenzioso. la colazione davvero ottima sia per la scelta che per la qualità (sia dolce che salato). La proprietaria molto simpatica ed accogliente ci ha consigliato dove cenare e si è dimostrata disponibile in tutto. Sicuramente lo consiglierò.

Nell'incantevole cornice della Toscana abbiamo trascorso dei giorni stupendi, accolti e coccolati dalla dolcissima Jeanette. Il B&B Casa Chilenne è davvero in una posizione strategica a pochi km da borghi incantevoli. Grazie di tutto Jeanette e a presto.
