From the booking confirmation email, breakfast was supposed to be included, but it was not the case. Upon arrival with my family, I inquired about the breakfast schedule and Mrs. Federica informed me that it was no longer served due to Covid. Even after explaining that it should have been included, she offered me vouchers to have it in a local bar, showing a lack of seriousness. However, the main reason for this negative review is the fact that we were given an extremely hot attic (far from a 'mansarda' as it is described). Despite not being sensitive to heat and not being a fan of air conditioning, we had to turn it on due to the high temperature, finding it also ineffective. To reach this attic, there was an extremely dangerous staircase to climb, especially considering we had a young child with a high risk of falling. Moving around the room or using the bathroom to shower required us to bend down to avoid hitting our heads on the ceiling. A minor issue but worth mentioning is that the double bed mattress was very uncomfortable. Despite all these issues, we did not leave because, being aware that it was August, coming from afar and tired with young children, it would not have been easy to find a last-minute room. Nevertheless, I wrote to Mrs. Federica to express my dissatisfaction with the situation, but her response was an arrogant voicemail where she explained that most people love her establishment and that we are not used to traveling. After reading some negative reviews from other guests before writing mine, I realized that her arrogance in the face of criticism is a recurring pattern. We decide to not return.
