This place is great. Very spacious, extremely clean, and quite comfortable. It has a nice queen bed, as well as a couple of twin beds in the loft are upstairs, so would be perfect for a family of four. The bathroom also has plenty of room, and the shower has good water pressure and the water gets hot. It's a separate suite attached to the home of the owners, and the owners are lovely people who keep it in great shape and are very easy to communicate with. There's even a cute little garden area in the back that they let you use with a bench and nice view of the Tuscan hills. And they charge a very reasonable rate, which is hard to beat in a touristy city like Florence.
Note that the breakfast is quite simple and minimal some packaged croissants and small cakes, with Nutella and jam, and milk and water is also provided. But there is a coffeemaker and an electric kettle (and some teabags), along with a fridge and a microwave, which is quite convenient. So you can buy your own food or head to the city for something for substantial.
The location is a bit out of the way, as it's about a 10-minute bus ride from the city center. You could certainly walk it too (maybe about 40 to 45 minutes), but it's better to take the bus, so as not to tire out your feet when you'll be walking a lot in Florence. Luckily, the bus comes directly in front of the house, which is very convenient -- though buses in Florence are notoriously unreliable, as they don't come all that often, and they're late much of the time. Also, there's no Uber in Florence, unfortunately, and taxis are in very short supply and crazy expensive. But it's quiet, which is nice, it's easy enough to get to and from the city on the bus, and you save a lot of money by staying a bit farther out. As noted above, the place is quite reasonably priced.
Overall, it's a great find. Highly recommended.
