A nightmare. I'll start with the booking confirmation: I called to notify that I would arrive at 8 pm, and on the other side, a guy with a noticeably foreign accent told me that he wasn't sure if my booking was valid because I had paid too little. (Crazy stuff). I sent the booking confirmation by email, then I called back, and on the other side, the usual rude person told me that he was too busy and couldn't check the bookings. Arrived at Hotel del Sud on the evening of March 10th, very cold reception, from the usual foreign guy (a mix between Filipino and Indian), almost annoyed. He handed me the key, and when I entered the room, the bed was unmade, and there were hairs on the pillow. I went down to report the mistake, and he replied that it couldn't be because the room had been closed for a week! Once he too had verified the fact, he snorted and gave me another single room. Very old hotel, with dirty carpet in the hallways. There was a quite heavy argument in the hallways at night between the usual reception guy and a customer. In the morning, I found an insect walking on the sheets, then another one on the edge of the bed, I took pictures, and I discovered they were bed bugs. I checked the mattress, didn't see anything, removed the blanket and pillow and closed everything in the closet, hoping to be calm. The following night around half past one, I spotted two more on the sheet... long story short, at that time I couldn't complain anymore, what could I expect from such a guy, a room change at one in the morning? So I "slept" (if you can call it that) with my coat on, terrified at the thought of waking up surrounded by bed bugs. In the morning, I killed two more on the floor. I deduced, seeing other reviews, that this hotel is completely infested. I'm disgusted.
