Very comfortable accommodations located close to all the attractions and train station. The owner was very pleasant and accommodating. The room and common areas were clean and eclectically decorated. It felt like you were a guest in someone’s home. The breakfast was served by the owner and was very good; juice, coffee, fruit, croissants, bread and assorted condiments. She also left fruit and coffee out if you needed some during the day. The room has a small refrigerator which was convenient if you wanted to store a small snack. Overall our stay was very positive and I would stay there again and highly recommend it for anyone going to Florence.

A very good Bed and Breakfast, very well located with a very helpful owner who does everything possible to make her guests feel at home. I have stayed in several accommodations of this type in Italy, this is the best. A very good address to discover Florence.

Lovely quiet street not far from the train station and center of Florence. The host was lovely and extremely helpful! This is my new favorite place to stay when visiting Florence. Very convenient to Fortezza where trade shows take place.

We stayed from 23/11/23 to 26/11/23. The structure is located just a ten-minute walk from Santa Maria Novella Station. The neighborhood is very quiet, served nearby by buses and there are trattorias with typical products at affordable prices in the area. From the B&B, we reached the most important attractions of Florence on foot in about 15 minutes. The room has a retro style and is spacious. There is both a mini-fridge and a safe. The bathroom is spacious and very clean. The breakfast included in the price is worth it because it's good and they don't give you packaged snacks. The lady who runs the structure is very welcoming and meets the customer's needs. In fact, she kept our luggage after check-out so we could enjoy the half-day we still had before departure. We absolutely recommend it.

Very good welcome, available and discreet. Tuscan style establishment with a flea market decoration.

Great location relative to the center, great cleanliness, courtesy of the owner and the breakfast attendant. Just a shame about the noises coming from the street, really annoying.

It is located just a few minutes from the station and has everything you need. The host is very kind and not intrusive at all, she can give useful advice, and is also very helpful when needed. We really enjoyed it: a refuge to relax after a hectic day.

A very cute and very central bed and breakfast. Everything within walking distance and bus stop at 200 meters. Large, bright, warm and very clean room. Very comfortable beds. Brand new bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Games and books available to guests. Maximum availability and kindness. Highly recommended.

Great stay. Cozy and clean room, abundant and varied Italian breakfast. Kind and very helpful owner. Good location to explore the city on foot.

I had a great time, central location and maximum cleanliness and courtesy. The owner is very attentive to all your needs. Paid parking available nearby and you can even drive directly underneath to unload, even though it's in a restricted traffic zone, thanks to an agreement with the municipality.

We were guests at 'Soggiorno Casa di Barbano' from December 28th to 30th. The owner who welcomed us was helpful, courteous, and smiling. The room is spacious and very well maintained. The breakfast was plentiful. Great location to visit the historic center. Highly recommended.

A bed and breakfast with an ideal location: a 10-minute walk from the train station and the tram terminal from the airport. City center so close to the places to visit... a few minutes from the central market and the Accademia museum. Quiet street. A warm welcome; late arrival possible and luggage storage for returns at the end of the day. I recommend this place.

The location is great: next to the train station and within walking distance to downtown. The room was clean, except for the bed cover and the toilet carpet that we immediately removed. The host answered all our questions and was very supportive in keeping our luggage before and after our reservation, and printing our boarding passes. The breakfast is good, we recommend adding a portion of granola or muesli to mix with the yogurt to add variety.

Beautiful well-kept structure, with comfortable and clean rooms, located in a strategic position near the station of Florence. An honorable mention for the manager: an extremely friendly and honest person who made us feel at home! I highly recommend it for the excellent value for money but above all for the kindness of the B&B manager which is almost rare these days.

The owner is very friendly, we arrived on Sunday she was even able to tell us which museums etc. were open. The breakfast was served by her personally, there were various fine items. When we are in Florence again we will come back.

We spent 4 days at the 'Soggiorno Casa di Barbano' and we had a really good time. The lady who manages it is delightful and very kind, she allowed us to leave our luggage until the evening before the train. Abundant breakfast, hot croissants, and amazing cappuccino. Two friendly cats and a small garden at our disposal for relaxation. Highly recommended for us!

Dear Moraq was so kind, warm-hearted, and accessible. She guided us to know the city better when we arrived there. The place was quite nice, clean, and comfortable. The usable items like trash plastic and toilet paper were changed every day. The room cleaned every day. She served a great breakfast every morning, whether you want to sit in the kitchen or the yard. If you want to have an economical stay, this would be the best place to stay, much better than many two or three-star hotels. All in all, it was beyond my expectations. If I come back to Florence, I would definitely come back here again.

Un'ottima accoglienza, stanze confortevoli, eccellente colazione e comodità grazie alla posizione (stazione di Santa Maria Novella e Centro città). È stato un vero piacere.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo B&B in tre (io, mia moglie e nostro figlio di 7 anni). La struttura è molto bella, pulita e la posizione è invidiabile (vicina alla stazione dei treni e vicina al centro). La colazione è veramente ricca e abbondante e le stanze sono complete di tutto e pulite. La proprietaria è gentilissima e cordiale. Decisamente una struttura che consiglio a chiunque voglia passare qualche giorno a Firenze.

Casa Barbano è in una posizione molto comoda vicino al centro storico e alla stazione Santa Maria Novella, in una strada poco trafficata. Le camere sono accoglienti e ben riscaldate, fin troppo direi, visto che il riscaldamento è acceso tutta la notte e aprire la finestra è complicato, essendo molto alta. Il bagno è spartano, senza bidet, senza finestra. La colazione, servita in camera, è essenziale. I materassi e le coperte sono piuttosto vecchi, andrebbero rinnovati. Nel complesso Casa Barbano è accogliente, peccato che pur avendo chiesto espressamente letti singoli abbiamo avuto due letti singoli rifatti con lenzuola matrimoniali.
