Amazing, historical place to stay. Anna was very responsive to our questions, the view is incredible, so close to the attractions as well as to shops and restaurants etc. Bed was very comfortable. We loved it here.

The location is very central, practically perfect for enjoying the city center, for example during the Christmas holidays. The manager is courteous and truly very helpful.

Two small and characteristic dwellings carved into the stone, excellently equipped, the larger one with a breathtaking view of the old city and, just outside the door, the alley full of excellent little restaurants also carved into the stone. Excellent location for visiting, very kind owners. A dive into life from 100 years ago! The price is also very good.

Renovated apartment but still in the rock. Below your balcony, you see people photographing what you can see at any time from the window. Central and all in all not difficult to reach from the parking lots. Kind and helpful owners.

Excellent structure both for the central location and for the size (we stayed in the three-bed apartment). It is managed by Anna, a very kind and hospitable young entrepreneur, with her it is like being at home. The rooms overlook one of the best views of Matera and are very comfortable both to reach the Sasso Barisano and the Sasso Caveoso. The only 'small flaw' is the bathroom a bit small but when you try to stay on the rocks you can't expect large spaces!

Right in the middle of Sasso Barisano, with a great window view. Nice apartment with stone ceiling, one double bed and a big sofa, little kitchen, tiny but functional bathroom. Original furniture and authentic feeling. Very nice owner. Close to everything in historical center. Great restaurants nearby, a snack boutique on the corner. Free parking available at 200m, on Via Castelo.

The apartment is in a strategic location, in the heart of the historic center, a stone's throw from the Sassi and easy to reach both by car and on foot from the station. It is a typical renovated stone, really beautiful and bright. The spaces are spacious and welcoming, clean, everything is taken care of in detail, and the bed is really comfortable. At night, the atmosphere becomes magical and enveloping thanks to the exciting view of the Sassi: a charm that is indelibly fixed in the memory.\n\nAnna, the owner, is always attentive, friendly, and helpful.\n\nCertainly, this B&B will remain a point of reference even for future visits to Matera, and I feel like recommending it for spending special moments.

Our stay was like a dive into the past, completely surrounded by a spectacle, especially at night, of a poetry and unique charm in the world. The house itself is amazing, spacious, clean, and one of a kind, an exceptional experience. The friendliness, availability, professionalism, and sympathy of the owner, Anna, have done the rest, unforgettable. Absolutely worth trying.
