La cordialità e simpatia di Laura rende ancora più affascinante il soggiorno nella struttura arredata e concepita con armonia e un tocco di originalità legata alla passione per le cose autentiche. Spero di avere la possibilità di tornarci nuovamente per un prossimo tango festival.

Ottima struttura in un palazzo storico. Titolare molto cordiale e ospitale. Molta cura nei particolari, dalla biancheria ricamata ai profumi d'ambiente, arredamento in stile, bella terrazza. Peccato solo che non si possa pagare col pos.

Laura e' molto simpatica e disponibile. E' strategico alla stazione, centro, e l'autobus. Comodo e in ottimo stato.

Un posto davvero unico che ti rimane nel cuore. Laura, perfetta padrona di casa, ha studiato tutto nei minimi dettagli. Cortesia, gentilezza e premura. Camera e bagni perfetti, pulitissimi e super confortevoli.

Alloggio molto ben arredato, letto confortevole e camera piacevole al soggiorno. La nostra camera aveva bagno privato esterno. Pulizia ottima e così la simpatia della proprietaria. La strada in cui è posizionato è di gran scorrimento ma la camera è molto ben insonorizzata. Siamo stati bene!

Cercavamo una sistemazione che avesse una personalità e possiamo affermare di essere stati ampiamente accontentati. L'atelier possiede è nel contempo semplice e raffinato, traspare il gusto della bellezza senza eccessi, alcuni oggetti d'epoca sono ancora utilizzati accanto a sculture e quadri che raccontano di una casa che traspira ancora la personalità dell'artista che l'ha abitata. L'accostamento e la collocazione degli oggetti riflette il gusto della giovane padrona di casa. Ogni dettaglio è curato e misurato per accogliere l'ospite. Laura, la padrona di casa è colei che fa la differenza; accogliente, spontanea, attenta, cordiale ed efficiente, capace di far dialogare i diversi ospiti e rendere conviviale i momenti condivisi, come la colazione. Per noi il viaggio a Trieste era un'occasione speciale e, grazie anche a Laura, questo soggiorno lo è stato davvero.

Struttura dalle atmosfere di inizio '900, con arredamento d'epoca e aura artistica, del tutto restaurata e pulita. Si trova ai bordi del centro, facilmente raggiungibile dalla stazione dei treni. La proprietaria è disponibile e gentile e dedica al benessere dell'ospite molta cura. Le camere sono comode, spaziose con lenzuola e corredo puliti e confortevoli. Colazione abbondante. Consigliato.

Tutto sa di buono in questo piccolo B&B nel cuore di Trieste. Ogni dettaglio ha un suo perché e merita attenzione e le spiegazioni della padrona di casa Laura, davvero ospitale e disponibilissima. L'appartamento di fine '800 è stato restaurato con rispetto (meravigliosi i pavimenti in legno) e, pur mantenendo immutata l'atmosfera originale, è stato portato a standard moderni di assoluta eccellenza: camera insonorizzata alla perfezione, letti comodissimi, wifi gratuito, frigobar ecc. ecc.. Io personalmente mi sono innamorato della cucina dove si consuma la colazione al mattino. Perché scegliere questa struttura rispetto ad un classico albergo? Perché qui non sarete mai clienti omologati ma viaggiatori del mondo!

Una casa bellissima, con una padrona di casa accogliente e piena di attenzioni, ci si sente come a casa propria, letto comodissimo, colazione speciale con le torte fatte in casa da Laura buone e fatte con il cuore.

Accoglienza molto calorosa, pare quasi di arrivare a casa propria. Laura è veramente molto accogliente, premurosa, attenta e partecipativa. Fa piacere incontrarla al mattino.

Soggiornato una notte, siamo stati accolti benissimo. Tutto molto pulito, ordinario e curato in ogni particolare, come essere a casa. Ringraziamo Laura per l'accoglienza e le utili indicazioni che ci ha fornito per visitare la città.

È stato come entrare nel mondo di Laura, la proprietaria. Appartamento trasformato in B&B che riesce, nelle sua misure contenute, a coinvolgere ed avvolgere. Decisamente gradevole la profumazione in stanza, apprezzabile la terrazza ove poter leggere, prendere uno dei tanti the/tisane/infusi a disposizione, fare un aperitivo. curata anche la colazione con un buon cappuccino, croissant, yogurt, frutta e salata (a richiesta). Per gli amanti del vintage.

Una casa elegantissima, bella e di classe. Laura, la proprietaria, è geniale e simpatica, molto prodiga di consigli. Prepara una colazione degna di un Hotel di lusso ma lo fa con il cuore. Pulizia immacolata, lenzuola di rasatello con lo stemma della casa così come gli asciugamani, l'accappatoio e le ciabattine. Questo B&B vale il viaggio a Trieste, che per altro, è bellissima. Dovete venire assolutamente.

Una occasione preziosa per godere del mito di questa città. Le forme e i colori di Lidia Polla, sensibile artista triestina, vivono negli angoli di questa casa e nella squisita cordialità della nipote Laura e di Roberto. Una opportunità imperdibile per farsi accompagnare alla scoperta di Trieste. Io mi sono sentito letteralmente sospeso tra il suo affascinante passato e il suo sorprendente presente.

Ottima colazione, la camera si presentava esattamente come in foto e la pulizia nei bagni e nella camera era perfetta! Unico piccolo inconveniente è stato il non avere il bagno in camera (ma comunque ogni camera ha il proprio bagno privato). Il B&B è praticamente in centro, quindi posizione ottimale. La proprietaria, gentilissima, ci ha consigliato ottimi locali e caffè..in particolare, consiglio di fare un tour nei caffè storici di Trieste!

Bellissima casa del 1860 con begli arredi e tutti i comfort. La proprietaria ci ha ricevuti nel miglior modo possibile per gentilezza, simpatia e professionalità. La casa è arredata con molto gusto ed è molto vicina al centro ed ad un bar storico della città. Ci siamo trovati proprio bene. Grazie.

B&B con un' atmosfera veramente affascinante, che fa venire voglia di soggiornarci per il sol gusto di essere lì. Laura ti accoglie con un sorriso ed è sempre attenta alle tue necessità. Colazione all'italiana con torte, brioches di pasticceria, marmellate, succhi, yogurt ed una infinità di te ed infusi. Unico neo, non accetta pagamenti POS.

Ci siamo trovati benissimo. Siamo stati accolti con grande gentilezza e allegria.

Quel che più ho amato di questo B&B: il suo essere raffinato con eleganza, senz'ombra di pretenziosità; la dolcezza di Laura, "padrona di casa" per cui ogni ospite è ospite di riguardo, da coccolare discretamente ma senza risparmiarsi; l'imbarazzo della scelta tra gusti di marmellate e ottime tisane all'ora dell'abbondante colazione; la qualità, l'originalità e l'accuratezza di ogni dettaglio, dagli arredi alla biancheria ai detergenti da bagno. Ultimo ma non ultimo, la posizione (imbattibile per chi arrivi in treno) e lo straordinario rapporto qualità/prezzo, che tra le altre cose ha tariffe adeguate e non penalizzanti anche per noi "viaggiatori singoli", così che ci si senta ottimamente accolti anziché "usurpatori" di stanze doppie, come purtroppo talvolta accade laddove scarseggi il valore dell'accoglienza.

Perfetto è la parola giusta. Sinceramente sento molto la mancanza di Laura e di sua madre. Donne meravigliose. Ho viaggiato spesso in Italia e nel mondo e questo è tuttora il posto migliore ed è la prima volta che mi trovo meglio che a casa mia. Non ero un ospite ma parte della famiglia. È stata un'esperienza bellissima e spero di ritornare al più presto. Consiglio a tutti questo posto meraviglioso. A presto e grazie infinite per tutto.

We had a very good time in Trieste. Laura is a beautiful women and her rooms are fantastic. She told us about interesting places and restaurants in Triest. From her rooms you can reach the centre of the city or the sea in a few minutes. I am sure we will come back soon.

Laura was an excellent host. Her creative talents shine through this unique B&B, with beautiful details everywhere you look. Laura and her mother were warm, welcoming, and made every effort to speak English. I'm currently travelling around Europe, and their breakfast was the most beautifully presented I have seen. The location is perfect – a short walk from the beautiful town square and canal. Excellent value for money, would highly recommend.

Atelier Lidia Polla is a charming, eclectic B&B overflowing with art and antiques and the warmth of its owners. Every piece within, the furniture, the rings in the jewelry case, the names and themes of the rooms themselves, seems to have a fascinating backstory and link to the family's long history in art and music. Laura and her mother took excellent care of us, making sure we ate way too much at breakfast on their plant-lined terrace. That was the free option. I can only imagine what the extra breakfast entails! I can't recommend Atelier Lidia strongly enough, really an exceptional place. Stay here if you get the chance!

I cannot say enough about Lidia Polla. Beautiful spaces full of wonderful art and design pieces, creativity everywhere you look. Comfortable, spotless rooms and a beautiful terrace garden. Plentiful, homemade breakfast in a marvelous eclectic kitchen. Laura and her mother Silva are wonderful hosts and excellent company. Laura's recommendations and guidance made my visit truly special and memorable. Go, stay, enjoy!

What a lovely B&B! I have nothing but positive things to say about my stay. It’s obvious from the moment you step through the door that owner Laura has gone above and beyond in every aspect - the three rooms are wonderfully decorated and filled with beautiful furniture and artwork, the bed and sheets are of very high quality, the kitchen is lovely and the perfect place to eat breakfast and have a chat. I travel a lot and this is honestly one of the best experiences I’ve had. You can tell that Laura has worked really hard to transform her grandmother’s home into a welcoming space for guests to enjoy while still maintaining original touches and it’s historic flair. Laura and her mother Silva went out of their way to share their knowledge of Trieste and help me with my research. I am very grateful and so glad to have met them. I hope to be back soon!

We had a great stay in this lovely B&B. Laura, the host, is super nice and really helpful, she give us advice of were to go - even bus numbers and stops - where to eat, etc. The breakfast was very good, the house very clean, had a good environment and everything looked really nice and tidy. The bonus is the location. Very close to bus & train station, next to bus stops and at walking distance from several attractions and sea side. Definitely a place to visit again (city and B&B).

I can just confirm what the other reviews are saying! Everything about it is great! Trieste is a fantastic city, and the host, Laura is really wonderful! So nice and friendly. She gave me a map of Trieste and recommended many great places to visit and restaurants, which was really great because sometimes it can be difficult to find great food as a vegetarian, but she showed me all the right places. The apartment itself is really clean, beautiful and comfortable. She put a lot of effort in the decorations and art are they are so special, interesting and beautiful. Laura also makes sure that the guests feel comfortable and at home. The location is also perfect because the train station is a short walk away, and so are most of the main points and restaurants in the city. I'm already planning on coming back again very very soon!

I' will take this opportunity to thank Laura for being a great host. B&B is amazing and wonderfully decorated. it is on the first floor, there is a lift and the rooms have double glazing so you will be able to spend a quiet and relaxing night located centrally 10 mins walking from the train station and 10 minutes from piazza unità d'Italia (main square), it is the perfect venue for spending a few days in Trieste. Laura speaks a good english and she will be able to assist you with any needs (she managed to find us a cab at 7am on the sunday morn!) breakfast was amazing too with fresh croissants bought from the bakery downstairs and fresh coffee plus a selection of home made jams, biscuits, etc so if you decide to come to Trieste this would be your perfect accommodation! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Trieste, made all the better by the welcome and company of Laura and her family. Communal breakfast in the gorgeous kitchen was a delight and was an ideal way to meet new people and share tips. The apartment is a feast for the senses, the rooms are beautifully furnished and adorned with personal works of art. We would heartily recommend and will hopefully visit again.

I loved this B&B, it was good value for money, very clean and the B&B owner was very friendly and helpful. It is a beautifully restored property and I would definitely stay here again if I was ever back in Trieste.

L'endroit est très charmant et très sympathique, comme Laura, la propriétaire. Laura est une mine d'informations pour celui qui ne connaît rien à la ville de Trieste. Et comme c'est une ville très spéciale, tant du point de vue géographique que historique, c'est une grande chance ! Il faut encore savoir que l'Atelier Lidia Polla est une sorte de caverne d'Ali Baba version mittel Europa, pleine d'objets de toutes sortes, d'oeuvres de la grand-mère, de dizaines de sortes de thés et de tisanes, etc. Un lieu qu'on n'oublie pas.

Pour moi, tout est parfait, sauf le lit dans le Barbier de Séville ! mais avec Laura tout est facile, tout est agréable, merci encore.

Laura est adorable et drole, elle se met en quatre pour que le séjour se passe au mieux, conseils, adresses. Les chambres sont charmantes ainsi que la salle de petit déjeuner et elle nous régale de pâtisseries fraîches qùelle descend acheter chaque matin. Une super adresse!

Dieses Bed and Breakfast ist einmalig. Die Gastgeberin Laura hat uns äußerst herzlich empfangen, und sich rührend um uns gekümmert. Das Frühstück war mit einem Wort sensationell. Eine riesige Anzahl an erlesenen Tees, Marmeladen, Honig, Müsli und Obst standen zur Auswahl. Dazu gab es toll zubereiteten Kaffee, und von Laura selbst gebackenen Kuchen, der vorzüglich duftete und schmeckte. (Sacherkuchen:)) Man merkt, mit welcher Hingabe diese authentische und schöne Wohnung eingerichtet und gepflegt wurde. Hier fühlt man sich einfach wohl und kann Triest aus sehr guter Lage erkunden. Wir verbrachten drei Nächte in diesem originellen und liebevoll geführten Bed & Breakfast. Die Gastgeberin Laura ist wunderbar und super herzlich. Auf einer kleinen Terrasse wurde uns morgens ein Frühstück serviert, das keine Wünsche offen lässt (Croissants, Brot, Müsli, Obst, Säfte... ) Die Unterkunft ist nicht weit entfernt vom Kanal und auch vom Bahnhof, so dass man nicht auf öffentliche Verkehrsmittel angewiesen, um die schöne Stadt Triest zu entdecken.

Die Zimmer haben eine tolle Atmosphäre. Die Vermieterin ist sehr sympathisch und hilfsbereit. Alles war top sauber. Auf jeden Fall uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert.

Orte können von sich aus schön sein, und Triest mit all seinen Plätzen, Cafés, Prachtfassaden, Osterien und Meerblicken ist ohne Frage wunderschön. Noch schöner werden solche Orte für den Reisenden, wenn sie sie sich von einer gemütlichen, geschmackvoll und spannend gestalteten und perfekt gelegenen Unterkunft aus erschließen lassen, deren überaus herzliche Gastgeberin noch dazu zahlreiche Insider-Tipps für die Stadterkundung auf Lager hat und jeden Morgen ein hervorragendes Frühstück inklusive selbstgebackenem Kuchen auf die Dachterrasse zaubert. Das B&B Lidia Polla ist so eine Unterkunft, und Laura ist so eine Gastgeberin. Gut nachvollziehbar, dass der britische "Guardian" die Unterkunft 2015 als eine von "10 of the best B&Bs in Europe" auswählte. Vielen Dank für diese großartige Erfahrung!

Triest ist unbedingt eine Reise wert, allein wegen des Ateliers Lidia Polla. Das B&B ist wirklich ein besonders Erlebnis, wie es sie leider nur noch selten gibt. Es befindet sich in einem typischen Triester Altbau, so dass man ganz von der Atmosphäre der Stadt durchdrungen ist. Die Räume sind von der Besitzerin Laura mit wunderschönen Antiquitäten und Blick für jedes kleine Detail eingerichtet. Mein Zimmer hatte ein eigenes phantastisches neues Bad, im alten Stil eingerichtet mit schönen Kacheln und Armaturen. Das Frühstück wird in der sehr schönen großzügigen Küche (mit historischem Ofen, Antiquitäten und Werken der Künstlerin Lidia Polla) eingenommen, oder auf der riesigen bepflanzten Terrasse, die Gäste auch am Abend nutzen können. Das Frühstück selber ist herrlich, mit selbstgemachte Kuchen, leckeren Croissants, Konfitüren und allem was man sich nur wünschen kann. Dazu die bezaubernde Gastgeberin Laura, die einen mit allen Tipps versorgt und die schönsten und leckersten Orte in Triest empfiehlt. Man fühlt sich wirklich als Gast in ihrem Haus. Das B&B Atelier Lidia Polla ist vielleicht der authentische Ort um Triest zu erleben.

Dieses B&B ist etwas ganz Besonderes, vor allem für Menschen, die Freude am Detail haben. Es ist wunderschön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, mit tollen großen Zimmern und schönen Bädern, süßer Küche als Frühstücksraum und hübscher Terasse. Man kann sich hier sehr wohl fühlen und dem Trubel der Stadt entfliehen, trotzdem haben wir alles zu Fuß erreicht.

Wunderschön, köstliches frühstück, grandiose gastgeberin, supersymphatisch, supersauber. Wir haben selten so schön gewohnt. Die Lage ist ideal für stadtspaziergänge und rausfahrausflüge. Die unterkunft ist unglaublich geschmack- und liebevoll eingerichtet. Kinderfreundlich. Ganz tolles frühstück. Wir sind begeistert und kommen ganz sicher wieder.
