A superb B&B in the Oltrarno district that I recommend without hesitation. Alessandra and Beatrice are the warmest, friendliest and kindest hosts you will have the pleasure to meet. Their home is perfect and the breakfast superb with home made bread and pastries. Any spares are packed up to take on your day's excursions along with a piece of fruit. They are keen to share their knowledge of their home city and give suggestions of where to go etc. I gave the location/position 8 only because some people my find it too far from the city centre. Trust me, it is not. I walked and it takes about 25 minutes plus the #11 bus from Santa Maria Novella Station and numerous stops within the city centre deposits you directly outside the property! As an example, first day I walked to the Boboli Gardens (magnificent views of the city) in the Porta Romana area. Second day I walked all the way into the centre. You can also walk to Piazzale Michelangelo for more stunning views and sunsets. This can also be easily reached from the centre.

I am very happy to have chosen Fior di Gelsomino. Strategic location to go both downtown and outside Florence. Bus stop right in front of the structure. Warm and kind welcome from Beatrice and Alessandra. Excellent breakfast with croissants and sweets made by them. Beautiful room and bathroom with every comfort. Like being at home with many extra cuddles. Thank you!

Truly a beautiful place, perfect welcome, feels like being at a friend's house! The room is very clean and equipped with everything you need, some noise coming from the street but nothing can be done about it, cleanliness and availability of Alessandra and Beatrice and a careful and rich breakfast, really pleasant. The area is very convenient to reach the center while staying in a quiet place, I recommend it.

Esperienza fantastica. Beatrice ci ha fatte sentire come a casa e super coccolate con una colazione incantevole nel giardino. Grazie ancora, lo consiglio vivamente.

Abbiamo soggiornato presso il B&B per 2 notti in occasione del Festival Firenze Rocks. Ci siamo trovati davvero molto bene, la camera era molto pulita ed era dotata di tutti i confort necessari. Beatrice e Alessandra sono due persone molto gentili e disponibili e ci hanno dato anche molti consigli su cosa visitare in Firenze e dove andare a mangiare. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente.

Super freundlich Hausbesitzer.

Gestori gentilissimi e disponibili. Camera spaziosa con pregiato arredamento dei primi del '900. Ampio bagno. Colazione in un gradevole salone di fronte ad una stufa norvegese. Ho potuto ammirare una corte interna con giardino dove d'estate è servita all'aperto la colazione.

Ospitalità e cordialità delle padrone di casa assieme alla posizione vicina al centro fanno di questo B&B un posto magnifico così come la città di Firenze. Colazioni super.

Eine sehr freundlicher Gastgeber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Unterkunft befindet sich in einem Familienhaus, also eine sehr familiäre Atmosphäre. Beatrice und ihre Mutter sehr freundlich und haben uns bei Fragen zur Seite gestanden. Die Straße istist sehr sehr laut, bei geschlossenen Fenstern aber kein Problem. Würde jederzeit wieder buchen.

Accueil très chaleureux de Alessandra et Beatrice, chambre impeccable et d'excellent confort, petit déjeuner copieux, délicieux avec des produits maison. Seul bémol: la circulation dans la rue, le matin. Bonne situation pour se rendre dans le centre: l'arrêt du bus est devant le B&B.

Struttura molto accogliente, familiare, calda, indimenticabile. La fermata dell'autobus e 5 metri in 5 minuti si raggiunge il centro. A piedi ci vogliono circa 25 minuti tra piccoli e ridenti negozietti caratteristici. Abbiamo passato dei bei momenti in loro compagnia. Da oggi abbiamo deciso che ritorneremo spesso. Firenze è una bellissima città da vivere e da gustare poco alla volta. Noi consigliamo nei giorni feriali dove le file ai musei sono esigue. A proposito, a Firenze non esiste dieta, si approfitta di tutto. Locali bellissimi.

Excellente adresse tant par la situation géographique de la maison 20 minutes à pied du centre ou bus devant la maison, que par l'extrême gentillesse de l'hotesse de maison Alessandra qui nous a gâtés avec de très bons petits déjeuners copieux et avec chaque jour pain et gâteaux maison, un vrai régal. La chambre est très propre et spacieuse avec coin cuisine. De plus nous avons profité des précieux conseils de visites, de restaurants et avons pu ramener en souvenir des oeuvres de sa fille Béatrice qui a beaucoup de talent. Tout est parfait. Allez y sans aucune hésitation. Françoise et Serge.

Struttura piccola ma molto accogliente, moderna, pulita e ben arredata. Ottima accoglienza. L'unico piccolo inconveniente è la posizione su una via di traffico piuttosto intenso. Lo consiglio anche per la sua vicinanza al centro, 10 minuti a piedi dal giardino di Boboli (in discesa) e 20 minuti in salita al ritorno.
