We were in Ilbono for less than 24 hours, for a busy day of shows in schools. Arriving at Le Roverelle and receiving the welcome of Maria Ausilia was a real pleasure. The structure is very beautiful, surrounded by nature with a beautiful garden full of fruit trees. The room was very clean and warm. In the morning, we could see from the kitchen terrace the sun rising from the sea among those shades of pink that only Sardinia can paint. Maria Ausilia prepared us a juice with freshly picked oranges from the garden which we enjoyed with coffee, cake, and jam, all rigorously prepared by her. We were only sorry we couldn't stay longer but we hope to return for future occasions.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Le Roverelle and we had a great time. The structure is really beautiful, clean and welcoming, and the owners are courteous. Our room is spacious and equipped with everything you need. The structure is surrounded by greenery and in about half an hour you can reach the beaches of Ogliastra, but also the hills. It is ideal if you want to stay away from crowded places. The landlady spoiled us with a superb breakfast, which among other things included homemade cakes and jams, fresh fruit, typical products, such as ricotta... truly rich and of excellent quality. In this bed and breakfast, I noticed the attention of the managers to the customer and the passion for what they do, not intrusive but present.

There is a beautiful view, immersed in greenery, away from traffic. Maria Ausilia greeted us with kindness and availability, she even went to pick cherries, offered us local cheeses and her oil as a welcome. Lovely person.

For the first outing after the lockdown months due to Covid19, my wife and I decided to return to Ogliastra and there is nothing better than the B&B Le Roverelle run by Mrs. Maria Ausilia. Every time we go back it's a confirmation. Mrs. Maria Ausilia with her spontaneity, kindness, availability always manages to make customers feel comfortable. The structure, located on the outskirts of Ilbono, is a stone's throw from Lanusei, immersed in the greenery and silence. In just over a quarter of an hour you can reach the beautiful beaches of Cea and Orrì and at the same time you can find yourself in the peace of the Gennargentu mountains. Even with all the precautions that the epidemic is forcing us to adopt, the owner did not fail to make us feel at home. Impeccable cleanliness and exceptional breakfasts for variety, quantity, and quality. Every morning different cakes with carrots, lemon, orange.. all made by her, various jams always of her production, different honeys.. fresh ricotta, aged cheese.. in short, not to get up from the table anymore, all seasoned with her cordiality. Le Roverelle remains an unmissable stop for anyone who wants to visit Ogliastra feeling pampered and spoiled as much as or more than at home.

We stayed for the New Year's holidays and we had a splendid time. The place is very well-kept and spotlessly clean, with beautiful marble and granite finishes, works of Mr. Gianni, a true marble master. Immersed in the greenery of the Ogliastra countryside with a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Arbatax and an priceless silence! We had a very large ground floor room, almost like an apartment, which was very useful for us with a toddler and a newborn. Maria Ausilia was very kind, helpful, and super patient with the children and gave us a hand thanks to her sweetness and experience with the little ones. The breakfast is fantastic: local products such as bread and typical sweets, exquisite fruit and vegetable juices, delicious cakes made by Maria Ausilia, in short, like, I would say even better than at your own home! We will definitely come back!

Nous avons passé un séjour magnifique. Tout s'est déroulé à merveille, à commencer par l'accueil très chaleureux de la propriétaire (Maria) qui s'est confirmé durant tout le séjour. Nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir à échanger avec elle, notamment lors des petit-déjeuners préparés avec des produits locaux et des fruits de son jardin. La vue depuis la terrasse est splendide; la maison est à flanc de colline dans un lieu très tranquille entouré de verdure. Il y a un petit jardin biquet à disposition avec des jeux pour les enfants. On peut se parquer dans la cour après avoir passé un portail automatique dont on reçoit la télécommande. A noter que les chambres disposent d'une moustiquaire aux fenêtres fort appréciable et que nous avons bénéficié de la chambre avec salle de bains indépendante. Nous recommandons chaleureusement ce B&B à quiconque souhaite découvrir l'arrière-pays de l'Ogliastra et ses habitants gentils et chaleureux tout en étant à 25 minutes de la mer. Meilleures salutations et à une prochaine fois !
