I stayed at Hotel Domodossola for two nights and honestly, we had a great time. The rooms were warm and welcoming, and Mr. Luciano is a truly kind and friendly person. Without a doubt, I will come back for the next vacation.

The breakfast was not very abundant. Only sweet, no cheese etc. The rooms are very noisy, small and the street quite loud. The bathroom is not at a new standard.

A bit far from the station on foot. We left early in the morning, we couldn't have breakfast.

Great service, good sweet breakfast, very clean rooms, reserved parking.

Luciano, il gestore, è una persona davvero piacevole e con noi è stato molto disponibile. Benchè io abbia prenotato all'ultimo è venuto incontro alle nostre esigenze (2 adulti e 2 bambini piccoli). Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo della struttura, con parcheggio riservato e a due passi dal centro. Mi sento di consigliare assolutamente questo Albergo.

Hotel in pieno centro con parcheggio riservato, proprietà molto cordiale e disponibile, pulizia accurata e prezzo sostenibile se non fosse per le camere ormai obsolete e prive di condizionamento, capisco la montagna, ma non si può fornire la stanza di un ventilatore portatile nel 2016 che serva come refrigerio e cambio aria.

Sehr gut geführtes Hotel etwa 20 Minuten Fußweg von Stadtzentrum und Bahnhof entfernt. Selbstverständlich bekommt man für die günstigen Übernachtungspreise keine Luxus-Zimmerausstattung, sondern eine funktionale und angemessene Einrichtung ohne unnötigen Schnickschnack. Die Zimmer sind sauber und gut gepflegt, teilweise etwas verwinkelt (Altbau) und mit exzellentem Reinigungsservice. Das Hotel liegt an einer stärker befahrenen innerörtlichen Straße, die bei geschlossenem Fenster nicht stört, bei offenem Fenster aber deutlich vernehmbar ist. Die meisten Zimmer sind allerdings nicht zur Straße orientiert. In den höheren Geschossen bieten diese Zimmer außerdem einen sehr schönen Blick auf die umliegenden Berge. Sehr freundlicher und jederzeit hilfsbereiter Inhaber, dem das Wohl seiner Gäste sichtlich am Herzen liegt. Allein das wäre Grund genug, wiederzukommen! Der Service stellt wesentlich teurere Hotels locker in den Schatten. Ohne dass wir darum gebeten hätten, wurde uns während unseres Aufenthaltes ein kostenfreier Zimmerwechsel in ein für unsere Bedürfnisse besser geeignetes Zimmer angeboten, nachdem die dort untergebrachten Gäste abgereist waren. Bei unserer Abreise brachte uns der Inhaber spontan mit dem Auto zum Bahnhof. Ein kurzzeitiger Ausfall des WLANs wurde gleich mit einem deutlich sichtbaren mehrsprachigen Hinweis an der straßenseitigen Eingangstür angekündigt, so dass neu ankommende Gäste noch vor der Zimmerbuchung über diesen Mangel informiert waren. Das haben wir anderswo noch nie erlebt - vollmundig versprochene WLANs, die letztlich doch außer Funktion waren jedoch schon reihenweise. Eine Basis-Kommunikation auf Deutsch ist mit dem Hotel möglich, aber Englisch oder Italienisch sind besser. Die Reaktion auf unsere Buchung und damit verbundene Rückfragen war durchweg sehr gut und schnell. Fazit: Außergewöhnlich empfehlenswertes familiär geführtes Hotel mit Wohlfühl-Atmosphäre und sehr gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Although this is a B&B, it's actually a nice, no-nonsense hotel! Nice clean room with your own toilet and shower. The owner is very friendly and helpful; thank you for dropping us at the station when checking out! So kind of you. The location is about 20-25 mins walk from the station. And, if you're located on the second floor, like us, you get a nice view on the mountains. Another plus: many restaurants nearby! Hotel Domodossola - it was a nice and friendly experience.
