Excellent host, excellent location on a small square in the old town! Pretty room, large bathroom.

We had a wonderful time at Casa Aurora with Manuela. She also speaks English and was very caring with us. The 5 floors without elevator are worth it for the comfort of the room and the view from the breakfast room on a Dome! You will feel like in a palace! There is no breakfast service but Manuela provided us with everything we could need with fresh products (fruit and yogurt!) and the essentials for breakfast. Thank you Manuela! PS: for future visitors, if you come by car, do not confuse the parking lots: - Marina Park: 15€/24h - Park Marina - Porto Antico: 2€/h! We ended up with a hefty amount! We got the parking names wrong are very similar. You are warned 🙂.

Casa Aurora is in the center, port area (San Giorgio stop) excellent for exploring Genoa, also Manuela is very welcoming! The room and the bathroom are very clean.

Manuela is a very kind hostess. We loved her apartment and chatting with her. Great location and lovely restaurants nearby. Very good value. Jean.

The room is very comfortable and beautifully furnished. It is full of historical charm. Its location is convenient for exploring Genova on foot and for connecting to the metro and buses. Manuela was such a warm and welcoming host.

B&B located in the center in a well-arranged period building to visit the city and the aquarium. A thank you to the owner for her kindness and availability and for the advice regarding the places to eat.

The property is located in a quiet street in the heart of Genoa, 5 minutes walk from the metro. The owner is welcoming and very helpful.

Medieval palace in the heart of the historic center and near the ancient port, sunny rooms, well-furnished and welcoming like the hostess Manuela, the window of the room framing the dome of the church of St. George. Everything perfect, thank you.

We stayed in Genoa for three days and staying at Casa Aurora was very comfortable and a pleasure. The bed and breakfast is in a historic building, large rooms with a lot of charm and in a fantastic location, 2 minutes walk from the Old Port and convenient to the main attractions and restaurants in the city. Mrs. Manuela was an exceptionally kind and helpful host, she made us feel at home.

Top rating for a courteous, smiling service and for the super quality-price ratio! Central location that couldn't be better, under Casa Aurora you will find everything within a few steps. Genova center is beautiful and lively in the evening. I stayed only one night to attend a meeting at Palazzo Ducale. The discreet and jovial owner is a delightful and pleasant person. Highly recommended!

Fabulous host, fabulous place. Would definitely stay again. Manuela really made our holiday in Genoa. And her place is amazing. The room is comfortable and quiet. It has air conditioning and WiFi, all great. The B&B is a 5min walk to San Lorenzo cathedral and 5mins in the other direction to the harbour. Perfect for exploring. The B&B is in a 16th century building on the 5th floor. It is also close to some great restaurants which Manuela recommended. Plenty pesto to try. The breakfast was lovely as well; croissant, focaccia, yogurt, bread, cakes, juice, tea and coffee. If you are staying in Genova and want a true flavour of Italy and a lovely host, Casa Aurora is just the ticket.

Manuela was the best host you can imagine: always there for any kinds of questions, had great tips, took time to explain and show everything, taught us some Italian - she was simply great. Breakfast was delicious! A nice buon giorno, focaccia, bread, croissants, jam, butter, and so much more. The apartment and the building is so beautiful and absolutely worth walking up to the 5th floor. You have everything you need and you are close to metro, port, shops, nice churches or piazzas, shopping streets, panorama view points and more. We took the chance to visit 5 Terre - so worth it! Looking forward to coming back! Again grazie mille, Manuela!

Mi sono trovata benissimo. Palazzo d'epoca, in posizione centrale. Pulizia impeccabile. Stile dell'arredo raffinatissimo. Colazione ricca. Più di tutto merita la gentilezza e la disponibilità della proprietaria, Manuela, che mi ha aiutata anche a portare il bagaglio per 5 piani a piedi (veramente unico punto debole, ma solo per chi ha problemi di deambulazione). Per il resto ho trovato tutto davvero molto confortevole. Lo consiglio vivamente!

Manuela was a fantastic hostess. The apartment was beautiful and the room/bathroom was very clean and well-appointed. Breakfast was wonderful and ready whenever we wanted it to be. The apartment is on the sixth floor, with no elevator - something to be mindful of when considering booking. Manuela provided us with excellent restaurant recommendations and local attraction information and was extremely kind and welcoming. Definitely recommend a stay at Casa Aurora!

Merveilleuse adresse. Appartement splendide, propriétaire absolument adorable, jolie chambre avec salle de bain confortables et propre. Bonne localisation dans le vieux Gênes. J'y retournerais les yeux fermés.

Stanza spaziosa e molto accogliente in un palazzo storico di Genova, in pieno centro. Splendida atmosfera, a due passi da trattorie spettacolari e luoghi d'interesse culturale. Colazione squisita e abbondante. La proprietaria è molto gentile e disponibile, e offre ottimi consigli. Se, anzi quando torneremo Genova alloggeremo sicuramente qui.

Ottima ubicazione. Ottima struttura in palazzo d'epoca. Accogliente e Spaziosa la stanza. Colazione super. Gestore simpatico e disponibile. Unica pecca mancanza dell'ascensore ma ne vale la pena.

We really enjoyed our stay in the historic Casa Aurora. Manuela was a superb host and made us feel very welcome as well as helping us to understand the culture and delights of Genoa. Casa Aurora is very convenient for exploring the city and a delight to stay in, highly recommended.

It was one of the best place we've never seen before. Very clean, perfect place, kindest host we never had before. Nothing was missing, and if it would have been the case, we would only had to ask Manuela. Etienne e Thomas.

We had an excellent stay and could not recommend this B&B highly enough. The owner made us feel at home and everything was perfect. The breakfast was excellent and the location ideal if you want to discover the old city. The B&B is located in an old historical palace and it may not suit those with reduced mobility because there is no lift, but that is more than compensated by the charm of the place. Excellent value for money.

Ho soggiornato con mio marito in questa bellissima e storica casa, collocata nel centro di Genova, da cui sono raggiungibili a piedi la maggior parte delle attrazioni della città. Si tratta di ambienti antichi, ben ristrutturati, che hanno mantenuto intatta la sontuosità e l'eleganza di un tempo senza far venir meno le comodità e gli accorgimenti tecnologici di oggi. Un giudizio particolarmente positivo va alla signora che ci ha accolto, con grande cordialità e disponibilità a soddisfare tutte le nostre richieste, signora alla quale va la nostra incondizionata gratitudine. La sua gentilezza ci ha fatto sentire veramente a nostro agio e segnerà per sempre il ricordo di questa bellissima città. Che altro dire? Pulizia impeccabile, colazione ottima, rapporto qualità-prezzo di piena soddisfazione. Unica forse difficoltà è la mancanza di un ascensore che rende la salita all'ultimo piano abbastanza faticosa, specie per noi che abbiamo una certa età, ma, trattandosi di edificio storico, è cosa del tutto normale.

Bellissima camera in una splendida struttura, situata in un'ottima posizione. Pulita, confortevole e accogliente. La proprietaria è stata estremamente gentile, accogliente e disponibile. È stato davvero un piacere soggiornarci.

2 giorni meravigliosi: il B&B è curato, ricco di fascino e situato in una posizione strategica per scoprire Genova. Manuela è stata una padrona di casa perfetta, ci ha dato tutte le indicazioni utili (anche prima del soggiorno, contattata via e-mail!) e permesso di usufruire ancora della stanza dopo il check-out visto che non era occupata. Peccato per la mancanza dell'ascensore nello stabile, che non può chiaramente consentire a chiunque di usufruire della struttura (situata al 5° piano). Dopo la prima salita però ci si abitua in fretta..per cui - a meno di particolari problemi fisici - non c'è da esitare nel prenotare! Non credo si trovi con facilità una struttura con un rapporto qualità prezzo simile in zona (soprattutto nel periodo di Euroflora).

Siamo stati benissimo, La Signora Manuela è molto gentile e premurosa per ogni esigenza. La colazione è piena di ogni cosa dolce o salata, compreso il caffè con la moka o con le cialde. La casa, la stanza e il bagno sono pulitissimi, massima libertà per entrare e uscire. La posizione è ottima per andare ovunque compresa la metropolitana per raggiungere le stazioni ferroviarie. Sicuramente da consigliare tranne alle persone che per qualche motivo che non possono fare le scale.

It was an absolute pleasure to stay in this B&B with Manuela and her family (who live in the apartment above). The house is amazing. Set in the Old Town, with a fabulously old front door, entrance hall and stairs - so authentic and beautiful. I had the whole floor to myself - a spacious living room with interesting art work, mosaic floor and high ceiling, a lovely bathroom, with great shower, bidet etc. My bedroom, dining room and kitchen - with tea and coffee when needed. I walked everywhere - to the conference centre on the docks (porto antico) and into the centre of Genoa. Manuela was lovely - so helpful and pleasant, with a wealth of information. She simply came the instant i asked (there is a call bell) - to provide my breakfast and attend to anything I needed. I couldn't recommend this more. Such a refreshing change to a faceless hotel.

I cinque piani di scale, peraltro in splendida ardesia d'epoca, conducono ad una accomodation densa di arte e buon gusto, elegante ed accogliente. Ciliegina sulla torta, la dolcezza della signora Manuela. Se si arriva in automobile consigliabile scaricare i bagagli in via Turati, all'angolo con via San Giorgio.

Bella stanza in un palazzo storico vicinissimo al porto nuovo: posizione strategica, a due passi dall'acquario e tre da piazza De Ferrari (centro). La proprietaria, gentilissima, si vede che tiene molto alla cura dei suoi ospiti. Dubito si possa trovare qualcosa di meglio.

Noi siamo stati veramente molto bene. Il B&B è in una posizione strategica rispetto all'acquario e al centro (sono 10 minuti a piedi). La titolare è gentilissima, molto disponibile e sempre sorridente. La nostra camera (quella col bagno privato) era molto ampia e spaziosa. L'unica pecca che può avere questo posto è il fatto che si trovi al quarto piano senza ascensore.

Sono stata in questo B&B e mi sono trovata benissimo, la proprietaria è gentilissima e disponibile, la colazione ottima, ci si sente a proprio agio, vicino ci sono delle trattorie dove si mangia benissimo e si può visitare il centro storico che è a pochi passi, penso che ritornerò.
